POSSIBLE Heroic Hollywood's super-scooper El Mayimbe dropped by the Shanilan On Batman podcast and discussed the villains of Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
He explains that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is going to be the primary antagonist, like Grand Moff Tarkin was in Star Wars. Many people would say Darth Vader was the main villain of Star Wars, but he was actually more like the muscle. Batman v Superman has its own muscle, and that is Doomsday's role in the film.
This is not the first time we have heard that Doomsday will be in the film. We, ComicBook.com, actually reported on this back in January and have some major spoilers regarding how he appears in the film, which is very different from his comic origin. You can read that by clicking here.
My own sources have informed me that Doomsday will be a blend of practical and computer-generated effects.
El Mayimbe then goes on to say the "Tell me... do you bleed?" portion of the Batman v Superman footage is actually from a "dream sequence."

POTENTIAL After giving us a cool Suicide Squad-related rumor last month, JoBlo's Paul Shirey is now reporting that Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice will indeed feature Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor suiting up in Luthor's trademark green/purple Warsuit on film!
According to Shirey, while the film's initial conflict will unsurprisingly be between the film's two titular heroes, Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman, the true main villain of the Zack Snyder-directed picture is actually Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, which considering Luthor's history, isn't all that shocking. However, where this new Lex Luthor deviates from past iterations is that he will be the first ever depicted on screen to actually put on the Warsuit, an armor that Luthor has been seen wearing for decades in the comics. According to JoBlo's sources, who have actually seen the Warsuit, the armor looks very comic-accurate, albeit with a slight DCCU touch. He isn't sure how long Eisenberg will actually wear the armor, but he speculates that it will more likely than not be for at least part of the finale for a sure-to-be epic showdown with Superman.
It's also not exactly known how Luthor acquires the Warsuit, but a popular theory is that he builds it with leftover Kryptonian technology, which may or may not include General Zod's corpse, from Man Of Steel's destructive finale. In addition to confirming that Eisenberg will definitely wear the suit, Shirey also corroborates the reports that Lex isn't the only villain in the film, but he isn't sure whether its Doomsday or another major villain like The Joker or Brainiac.
What do you guys think of this latest development? Are you excited to potentially see Eisenberg's Lex Luthor don the Warsuit? Sound off with your thoughts below!

It sucks that so much is coming to light about both of these films yet, we are still a year out from them... Jeez I really feel like DC messed up with the delay of BVS but if it gives us the best film possible, then I'm all for it in the end, it's just unbelievable.

Wow, it really looks like we're getting pimp, Fast and Furious Joker for this one....although it could be like the Octopus in The Spirit-where he shows up to each scene in a different elaborate persona and costume (Nazi, Chinese Empereor, Surgeon etc...) I doubt it though based on the tats...looks like we're getting a whole new and mega- creepy take from Leto's clown Prince....if this Joker does in fact transfer over to the New Afleck Batman films, I hope by then though that he switches over to the classic purple or at least white suit.

Let´s just wait for the movie, complaining about an insignificant tatoo is just dumb. We dont know this version of the Joker yet, people have to understand, these characters have now more than 70 years of history, there is no definitive Joker or Batman, you will never see an straight 100% adaptation of these characters from both marvel and dc because every writer and artist has their own take, their own interpretation, I am giving this film a chance.

Leto will kill it, and he's really the only guy I could picture playing the part. It's going to be great! And bring on the 2016 Hipster Joker, I'm all for it. This actually makes sense in my mind.

I'll let the performance do the talking. Till then I'll reserve my judgement.

I want Leto to be fantastic so the crowd that are firmly lodged in the top shelf of Nolans ass can shut up for all time. Liked Ledgers Joker a lot but its time for a comic book version now.....BRING IT Leto with every crazy fibre in your body that you can muster.

It's never been Leto's performance that has concerned me.. But I'm 100% concerned about David Ayer's influence.. He makes his modern movies extremely urban. He's hit and miss really.. David Ayer influence is either fantastic, or horrible.
Leto with tattoos and skinny jeans is absolutely Ayer's influence.. But that won't affect Leto's performance.. Hopefully.

I always wanted Adrien Brody to play the Joker. I think he naturally looks like him.
