Oh I get that. Nothing wrong with that. Its the jersey shore gimmick that sucks. But he's really from New Jersey. There's nothing Jersey Shore about him. He's peacocking with ridiculous hair and outfits, but that makes his look unique. Cass grounds the team, and he's the real bruiser. Enzo has some golden catchphrases. Nothing about him says fist pumping, club music, or classless trashy drunken nights. I'm from New Jersey, and the stereotypes are mainly exaggerations for reality tv. He's not Robbie E. He's barely even on the 'tool' level of ECW Ryder. He's braggadocious. He's brazen. Cass makes great facial expressions, talks rarely and carries a big stick. Together, they mesh real well. He barks loud, and when he can't back it up, Cass bites. What is it you disdain about them? The phrase 'How you doin'? The fact that they're charismatic, larger than life and aren't just 'generic, dress like one another and have a tandem finisher' team #976? First off, I find Robbie E. much more entertaining. Robbie is being OVER the top to add humor. He is purely there for comedic relief. Enzo, more so than Cass, plays the Jersey Shore stereotype to a tee. He isnt being over the top. His character legit walked off the show Jersey Shore. Calling himself a "certified G", "cant teach that", "how you doin", etc. all scream Jersey Shore like qualities. No, I dont see fist pumping or specifically club music....but Carmella does come across or at least used to come across as the classless trashy drunken whore. I agree that Enzo and Cass make a great team. I would much prefer to see Enzo as a manager more than a wrestler. In no way, shape or form, is my own personal annoyance of with them, trying to say they "suck" or they dont have a unique look or they arent over. They are WAY over. A lot of your points are 100% valid, but do not reflect a good counter argument against my opinion for the sole reason that its nothing but a minority opinion shared by very few people. I watch the shows, I was in the Ohio.....they are WAY over. But none of that changes the fact that I find the gimmick to be annoying and I am not a fan of the gimmick. I think both men are talented and have something to offer. My limited interaction with them, both seemed like cool dudes. I can respect a guy without actually liking their gimmick. I can respect a guy without liking them as a person. I can also be a fan of a guy who is clearly green as crap in the ring. Its all personal taste.

I can understand if you think he's green- but a lot of wrestlers are in development. He's still developing. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy them on the come up. You, personally, seem to have made up your mind that you won't enjoy him...even though you have also admitted he's entertaining and crazy over. You have a right to your own opinion, it just didn't have any valid justification. I can't argue preference.

First off, I have heard some Jersey Shore dopes say "certified g"....several times. While I have never heard anyone say "cant teach that" it CLEARLY sounds like something Jersey Shore. Why are you taking everything so literal? Why does it have to be word for word? I was trying to have a nice pleasant conversation and you feel the need to turn this into some huge debate. You give no merit to my points and praise all of yours. Yes, I do think he is green. But thats why he is IN NXT. What does that have to do with anything? My remark about him being a manager was b/c he is so gifted on the microphone. Regardless, if I find him annoying or not....the man certainly can work a mic. I have my mind made up that the Jersey Shore gimmick is awful and annoying. If Balor started doing it, I would feel the EXACT same way. This isnt about Enzo...its about the gimmick. You can say it doesnt have any valid justification, but you are clearly blinded by your own personal feelings to look at objectively. Like I said, you refuse to give any merit to my points in your belittling attempt at picking apart my statement and were wrong anyway. First off, I find Robbie E. much more entertaining. But I see the whole Staten Island/Jersey Shore thing to be VERY similar. But you are right, its definitely more Staten Island.

But I see the whole Staten Island/Jersey Shore thing to be VERY similar. But you are right, its definitely more Staten Island. I said more than a few times you made coherent points. At this juncture, you might be reading what you want to. Or not trying. Sure, verbatim they're not quoting Jersey Shore...but it's also kind of presumptuous to say that everyone from Jersey (or its shore) talks one particular way. He's PLAYING A WISEGUY CHARACTER. He thinks he's the toughest dude on the block. This is not akin to Pauly D or the Situation or whoever. I gave merit to the fact he's not yet ready in the ring to be on the main roster but demoting him to just a manager would be robbing people of the full breadth of his potential. He could have Cass sub in for him 90% of the time, or be the face who uses heel tactics. If another worker in NXT was given his gimmick, you're right, it wouldn't work. Enzo's personality MAKES the gimmick. Someone else attempting to cut his promos would feel forced, but it is a pretty inflated reflection (or exaggeration) of what he's probably like in real life, just turned up. Like CM Punk when he finally 'showed some personality' in the summer of Punk. I'm blinded by nothing. I know he's no Zayn in the ring, but Zayn, Balor and Owens aren't Enzo. He is completely different and separate from them, so the Balor point is moot. There are different sets of skills required to get over in WWE. His is unique and the current roster's lacking wrestlers who can talk circles around their competition on the way to the ring, or in general. Also, the difference between Staten Island and Jersey is beside the point. Sure, no cast member from Jersey Shore was actually FROM Jersey (except Sammy) but by all means, let's just overlook those sorts of facts. On topic: Itami/Breeze was fine last week, but I found the episode lacking. First time in forever I can remember saying that.

Charlotte re-debuts on Raw next week and wins Divas battle royal. My prediction.
This means Bayley needs to be number one contender for Sasha Banks' NXT Women's title immediately.

Sure, no cast member from Jersey Shore was actually FROM Jersey (except Sammy) but by all means, let's just overlook those sorts of facts. On topic: Itami/Breeze was fine last week, but I found the episode lacking. First time in forever I can remember saying that. You gave no merit to my Jersey Shore points, which was the basis of my opinion....not his in ring ability, look, etc. I am not being presumptous. We are specifically talking about a gimmick. Im not being stereotypical or anything else. You know EXACTLY what I am saying and now seem to try and twist my words to make this out to be more than what it is. It was a discussion concerning a wrestling gimmick and MY personal disdain for it. I encourage anyone who likes a certain gimmick or person or whatever to post and respond to discuss. But to respond saying my opinion is wrong and begin to nitpick my words and then twist into a discussion concerning stereotypes is asinine. My OPINION of making him a manager isnt a demotion, per say. Nor was I trying to say he has no ability to improve. He has proven that he is very athletic. I simply think he would EXCEL in a manager role. No one is being robbed of anything. I dont have the power to "demote" him. So I dont know why you are writing this mission statement imploring me to "not rob people of his potential." Its just a fan's opinion. As far as your idea having Cass cover up Enzo's deficiency.....thats nothing more than a temporary fix. Enzo will have to continue to improve in the ring and be able to work on his own. Why bother having him work matches if he is nothing more than a mouthpiece that needs others to cover up his short comings. Thats WHY they have managers. Maybe Heyman/Brock should form a tag team and Brock can just sub in for Heyman to cover up his shortcomings. My remark saying if Balor had this gimmick, I would find it equally annoying isnt directed at Enzo's ring work.....its directed at the fact that I am a HUGE Balor fan. I do not have bias against Enzo. I have bias against the gimmick. You clearly are blinded by your own personal opinions if you are writing a mission statement saying I am robbing him of his potential I have ZERO ability to rob fans or Enzo of anything. You want to put me down bc I dont know the differences between Staten Island/Jersey Shore. Fine. I accept that. I am not tuned into the minor details. ALL of it I find extremely annoying. No....I didnt know that Sammie was the only cast member from Jersey Shore. Who cares? Why is that relevant? Facts? They are irrelevant facts that play ZERO relevance to my opinion concerning Enzo and his gimmick. If you cannot engage in a reasonable discussion concerning my opinion, then feel free to not respond. I dont think anyone here wants to have the NXT thread to be locked for fighting, but thats CLEARLY where this is headed. I have respected your POV and understand you are an Enzo fan, please do the same with my opinion that I am NOT a fan of this Jersey Shore, State Island, tough guy....whatever label you would like to assign to his gimmick.....I am NOT a fan of it.

I'm glad CM Showstopper said all that about Enzo and Cass because I agree 100% and you made your point extremely well and respectfully.
I find them beyond annoying, extremely cringeworthy and borderline embarrassing. But to be honest I'm probably more embarrassed for the fans saying every word along with them and that SAWFT thing Cass does, urgh, no words apart from cringe cringe cringe. Hate Enzo's face too.
I don't get it, I just don't get it.
Thanks again CM Showstopper. Excellent points.
