my camera is a 10.2 megapixel Samsung BL103 with a 6.3-18.9 lens zoom, not my pics but it's exactly like this::  how do I turn on/off the flash how do I manual focus? etc. |

Depends what you're taking photos of. Is it stuff that's far away? Using a lot of zoom will make camerashake a lot more likely.
Manual focus is only for better (sorry) cameras. You can work it so that when you half press the shutter, the camera will focus on whatever's in the middle of the viewfinder/screen. So when you're ready to take the shot, half press the shutter with what you want to focus on in the middle of the screen, once that beeps and the focus is set, move the camera back to the shot you want and you're sorted.

I don't think you can manual focus with digital cameras.
As for the flash, it should be one of the buttons/options to select from (mess around with your cam).

Honestly, they all seem to be as good as one another. If you're serious about wanting to mess about with settings like manual focus and shutter speed and aperture then a good bridge camera will see you good and means you don't have to spend on lenses. If you're talking point and shoot, go for whatever feels most comfortable or whatever has the best features for the bucks. |
