Money in the Bank: Triple H beats Orton (newly face).
SummerSlam: Triple H vs Roman Reigns for the title and Bryan returns to face Lesnar.

Reports are that Bryan's injury is not as serious as it was played out to be on TV, and that he should be back towards the end of the summer
and as of now there are no plans to strip him of the WWE title

I mean I guess good for Bryan, but if we are talking about him missing 3-5 PPVs then they need to crown a new champion. If this was a thing where he was only going to miss a PPV or be off TV for a couple of weeks then I get it, but why not just have him forfeit the title and give him a title shot when he returns around SummerSlam or Night of Champions or whatever. Having your champion not be on TV for 4 months isn't best for business, and I mean that in a serious way. |

Daniel Bryan Injury Update
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Bryan has suffered a broken neck. However, it is a minor break and will not need to undergo fusion surgery and the expectations is that he will be out 6-8 weeks. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday

Right now, as long as Bryan is able to return by July or maybe August, then he will remain the Champion. As of now, there is no plans to strip Bryan of the title.

Umm, because he has the highest tenure of anyone on the roster, he's already feuding for the title, he can still go, he's back in the ring full-time, he just main-evented a PPV for the title, everyone other believable wrestler is already committed to something else, it's been 16 years since Kane has been WWE Champion!!! |

Hm. I wonder how WWE is going to pick up the slack without the champion around? Without the title, they're going to probably focus more on the Shield, Sheamus, BNB, and the Authority.

I think this is a streak of bad luck for Daniel Bryan and I don't want him to have to vacate the titles....but I am not ok with the WWE Champion being off TV until possibly August. Put it on Kane or Lesnar and when Daniel Bryan comes back just have him win the Title back and continue his reign.
For ratings, house show ticket sales, and the WWE network....we can't not have a Champion for 3 plus months. Pardon the pun, but that's REALLY not best for business.
Yeah, people don't want to see Daniel Bryan having to vacate, but he's legitimately injured and people will understand. He'll get the Title back when he returns. It sucks, but it has to be done.
