Anyone else think this storyline with Roode being suspended and pissed off with management/MVP is a way to write him off for good? With the reports of TNA cutting back on budgets, and releasing wrestlers I think he may be the next one to go.
What do you guys think? I hope i'm wrong.
My dream scenario would be this: MVP beats EY for the title at Slammiversary, EY goes back to the mid card, Bobby Roode wins the BFG series, MVP vs Bobby Roode at BFG, Roode wins, MVP leaves or goes back to being a face, and we have another long reign of Roode as champion.

I thought it was to kickstart a face turn in a few weeks but now that you mention it.....damn, Roode was one of the few best they have left.

I'd love to see Bobby Roo go to the 'E. I don't mean this to disrespect TNA, but I think he would do fine up there. And I could see WWE being interested in him.

Bobby Roode has really nothing left in TNA other then facing for the World Title again. I'd like to see him in WWE because I know he has the look that Triple H wants.

I'd love to see Bobby Roo go to the 'E. I don't mean this to disrespect TNA, but I think he would do fine up there. And I could see WWE being interested in him. Honestly, he should have taken the chance to go when they were interested a few years ago. I'm pretty sure WWE wanted both Roode and Storm. If he would have taken the opportunity to go, I could have seen him breaking off with Storm into a singles run by now. Now he's in his mid 30's. If he goes to WWE now, he would have to go a year or two into WWE development and by the time he made it into the main roster he would be almost 40 and he would have only a couple of years. It makes me upset that guys like Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, James Storm had the chance to go to WWE and they didn't take it. Now they're in their mid 30's. And WWE made a mistake to get Austin Aries when he wanted to go to Tough Enough. He could have done well and gone off to the main roster afterward. I get that people want these guys to go on to WWE, but think about their ages and think about WWE putting everyone they sign into development. The last people who didn't go to development and debuted quick to the main roster were Sin Cara and Kharma and look how that turned out. Yeah I know Eva Marie debuted on the main roster instead of having to go to development and that was stupid, but I don't think anyone should disagree that WWE will put these guys that TNA are letting go into development and I don't think these guys would want to go to development. If this were 4 years ago, I could all these guys TNA released going to WWE, but now, they're too old to really get a start in WWE. Only guy that's exempted because of what he did in the business is Sting.

No idea why you went off on a rant about age, when the WWE's future are in their early to mid-30's currently. Zayn is 30, Rose is 34, Cesaro is 33, Kidd is either 33. Even Hero is 34 and everyone was still wanting his WWE run on the main roster. The only young guys WWE have really been pushing are Rollins, Ambrose and Neville. All in their late 20's. Roode may be 37, but the way he works, like Orton... that can preserve his career for a lengthy time. Hunter isn't young, but can still put on a great match because of his style. Not saying Roode is young, but he's definitely not too old. Considering age is never an issue for the WWE. If you fit the mold, you fit the mold. As for the topic at hand. When I read the indefinitely suspended news, that's what crossed my mind. A way to write him off. However, thinking about it, with the way TNA are... I see a face turn to be more likely. Which would be terrible. And yet they keep people like Bromans, Zema, and Rob Terry? Those guys are basically working for peanuts. Notice that all the guys that TNA are resigning aren't the TNA alumni, but rather new talent and mid-card talent.

Notice that all the guys that TNA are resigning aren't the TNA alumni, but rather new talent and mid-card talent. All the guys you mentioned, were in development in their mid to late 20's. I never said anything about being too late for Cesaro, Kidd because when they were signed, they were already in their mid to late 20's, perfectly acceptable for someone to start in development before making to the main roster. Adam Rose, was development for a long time before finally making it to the main roster. Sami Zayn, again was signed in his late 20's and might make it to the main roster soon. At the point where Roode should have signed, he would have already made it to the main roster a year ago with Storm or by himself because when WWE was interested in Roode, they wanted him with Storm and they both didn't take it. I just don't see WWE wanting a 37 year old Roode. I never denied that he's a good worker because he's a great worker, I just don't see WWE wanting Roode now. I could be wrong and if Roode being suspended is a way to write Roode off of TNA (which is pretty stupid because they should be keeping guys like Roode, Aries) and WWE is interested, good for Roode and I hope he has a good couple of years in development before making to the main roster at almost 40 giving him a couple of years on the main roster. This is all opinion, I really don't see WWE wanting Roode at this point.

They'd be extremely dumb to part ways with Roode, absolutely love him and Aries. Two top talents in the industry who haven't been given a true chance to shine on the biggest stage of the business yet(WWE).

I hope they let go Roode for having worn Terry Taylor's robe in his early years. If Rooster still gets crap, the guy who wears the robe of the guy who played Rooster should get crapped on too.
I hope Aries gets let go for his crotch in Hemme's face action. That's something Shawn Michaels would have done during his DX run. Guys a medium sized fish in a small pond and he acts like the greatest wrestler who's ever lived. If he were to get hired by WWE I'd enjoy ANOTHER DX-lite reunion of Shawn and Hunter doing a superkick/pedigree and sending Aries along the way quicker than Buff Bagwell.
