We should be happy that the Tag Team Champions haven't been a make shift team since May last year.

Having more teams won't help. The problem with the tag team division is the same as the problem with the rest of the midcard... No storylines so it's just match, rematch, rematch where nothing means everything and every combination gets burnt out.
1980s tag team scene: The big teams rarely/never fought each other on TV.
Attitude tag team scene: Edge and Christian did tons of character work and storylines that held it all together. Same for the Outlaws and APA.
2013 tag team scene: All the teams just wrestle each other for no real reason until everyone's bored of seeing them fight, then they fight ten more times, then break up.

I can't for them to forget about the Intercontinental and US titles again.

Yeah, the tag team division falling off like it has recently is a bummer. It's really fallen and Rybaxel losing back to back singles matches against Sheamus didn't help. I expect an Usos/Wyatts feud but outside of that it's really weak. Kidd and Gabriel, Ryder and Hawkins, call up the Ascension, those are three off the top of my head that they could bring to the main roster.
