Im sure like 99% of this board at some point watched wrestling but I also came to realize that a lot of members dont watch anymore and only stay here for the discussions, other interests like sports, MMA, general discussions and etc.
So for those who stopped, when did you stop watching (year, storyline, etc) and why did you stop, if you care to share?
I currently still watch and really havent ever stopped watching since I started in 98.

I was like 11 or 12 and I thought I outgrew it. My dad a lifelong fan just stopped too.then a few years later I saw one of my friends at school wearing a CM Punk shirt. I asked how is wrestling nowadays. This was during the summer of punk and he begged me to watch. So me and my dad watched 4 episodes of raw and a PPV over a weekend and were hooked again

I started watching in 1997.
I stopped for several months in late 2010-early 2011 when they effed up the Nexus storyline.
I started watching again after that though. I only watch Raw. I haven't watched Smackdown in many, many years.

I stopped watching when Cena won the title from JBL.
Cena took the Rapper gimick as a joke on a Halloween episode of Smackdown, he dressed like Vanilla Ice. Then after the Halloween episode the gimmick stuck to Cena. Cena was jobbing to Eddie and Brock and Angle almost every week. But then wwe pushed Cena, Cena won the US Title and turned it into a toy. I thought it was so ridiculous. Then he beat JBL, JBL who at the time was the greatest heel I'd seen in years, and again Cena turned the title into a toy. I was fed up and stopped watching.
I dont watch wrestling anymore. Every now and then I see clips on youtube. I keep hoping things in wwe will change. WWE peaked my interest when they had Brodus be a monster, but a week later they turned him into a dancing fool. Same with Tensai. It just seems like they crush any possible monster heel before the heel can get any momentum going.
The title also has lots to do with me not watching. The Undisputed title belt looked so prestigious and then the Spinner belt looked so ridiculous. The Spinner belt lasted a long while and now we have the Josten's title. I call it the Josten's title because the belt, to me, looks like a Women's graduation ring. I call it the Josten's title or the Women's title. I just feel wwe has gone the route of bling with the title, where as I feel it should look prestigious not flashy.

Although wrestling has been in the background of my life I have had a few long periods where I didn't watch regularly. I started watching around 91 and I did so up until maybe 95 or early 96. Jumped back in around mid 98 until about 02/03 and for about a decade I only every tuned in once every couple months just to see basically what was going on, but I'd have friends that would loan me ECW dvds and tapes (and some early ROH and TNA)so my interest was still there, but I didn't start watching hardcore again until basically Summerslam 2013.
Post 03 I had started to lose a taste for what WWE was doing and I got into MMA for a while and my time was just taken up with different hobbies and sports. Since 2010 I have kinda lost the taste for MMA and "real" violence.

I've been watching since the mid 90's, right around the time Hogan joined the nWo. I stopped watching right in the middle of the Shawn Michaels/JBL storyline late 08 to early 09. It wasn't that I was unhappy with the product, I was just getting involved in time demanding things around that time and thought I grew out of wrestling. I started watching again after Raw 1000 and have been watching just about every Raw and PPV since. I haven't watched Smackdown since about 2005. Even during the few years that I wasn't watching, I was keeping up every once in a while, either with youtube or wrestling news sites. And I never took a break from collecting figures except the first year or so of Mattel's reign.

I always watched WCW back in the day and from time to time with WWF. After WWF bought WCW, I got hooked onto it. I stopped for a brief period of time during the whole Nexus vs. John Cena storyline and came back when Wrestlemania 27 aired. Been watching ever since.

Been watching as long as I can remember. Since the beginning of my life. There were times where I didn't consistently watch but kept up with what was going on but I never just stopped.

Do feel a bit meh about wrestling at the moment, might actually stop for a while for the first time.

Stopped watching in 2008, came back in mid 2011.
The product sucked and I stopped watching. It got better and I started watching.
What a novel concept for the IWC to ponder.

I stopped watching in 2010 after the Nexus storyline. Then I got back to watching it on 2011 and the Summer of Punk just got me hooked to it for a while. Now I occasionally watch it once in a while as I find the storylines to be rather boring now.

Started in 2000. Stopped for a little while in 2008 and then again in 2010 because it was god awful. Oh, and when Triple H ran RAW, I mostly just watched SD. Punk's promo brought me back full time.

Started in 97 after WCW vs nWo came out. That game was my first exposure to wrestling. My friends owned it and they had the figures too. My parents didn't care for the WWFs foul language and overt sexual themes, so i watched it at the friends house.
WCW Thunder w/ Hollywood Hogan coming out to Voodoo Child is my first tv wrestling memory. flipping the channels and immediately recognizing the hulkster.
The first PPV i saw was weirdly enough No Way Out 99 where Owen died...
Wrestling was life from 2nd grade until about 6th grade when girls, and skateboards, and MTG took over.
Backlash 2002 is the last PPV i watched/attended (can't remember how long i watched Raw/SD)
Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan piqued my interest again, so I watched SummerSlam2013, and WM29/30 and some recent Raws
TL;DR Any other notable PPv to watch?

i stopped watching wrestling at age 15, so 2005. triple h ruined raw by just wearing a suit all the time and talking throughout the first segment, and then it was always a 6 man tag for the main event. just brutal.
