At least Middlesbrough are doing the North East proud. I can see them finishing above Newcastle & Sunderland next season provided both stay up.

So apparently Sterling wants out. I'm pretty mad that he's had some recently awful performances so at this moment I'm in "Sell him" mode, but I'll have to wait until the season ends to really assess it. This only goes to show they REALLY need more strikers. Ings as back-up and a first team caliber guy not named Benteke.

Ah, that was a nice little win. Sweet revenge for being robbed of being the 1st team to beat Mourinho's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last season.
And nobody will even remember that this game largely meant nothing.

More relieved about staying up but seeing Advocaat publicly in tears really made it emotional. What a way to go out for him.

Nice to know we're gonna be absolutely horrible before I get any hope. 3-0 before the 30th in Gerrard's hope game, what the hell?

Rodgers will surely be out the door after this. Although I don't think he's the problem as much as the owners. I believe they have good intentions but the transfer policy is a joke and needs improved if we are to be successfull again.

Can't say I'll be shedding any tears over Hull going down. Reminds me of Norwich last season.

West Bromwich Albion: Still pride of the Midlands. Not sure Stoke fans would agree.

Bold early predictions: 1. Chelsea 2. Manchester City 3. Arsenal 4. Liverpool 5. Manchester United 6. Tottenham Hotspur 7. Everton 8. Newcastle United 9. Swansea City 10. West Ham United 11. Stoke City 12. Southampton 13. Aston Villa 14. Crystal Palace 15. Queens Park Rangers 16. Sunderland 17. Leicester City 18. West Bromwich Albion 19. Hull City 20. Burnley Hmm, wasn't that far off. Top 3 I got spot on. Pretty happy to trade us for QPR in the bottom three
