WIDE?!! Listening to the WHUD vs TOT on XM radio while riding in the car. Missed opportunity Yeah he beat Hugo Lloris but it went wide. Pretty bad shot.

So Tottenham pulls through at the very end. West Ham played better throughout, Lloris played great out there.

Brilliant point for us, a little bit overwhelmed by Everton, but we kept ourselves in it and Chris Wood took his chance right at the end. Just about calmed down now.
Delighted that Swansea beat Manchester United as well, hilarious stuff.

Shame we couldn't hold on for the 3 points, but happy with the performance.

ing hate Arsenal. Annoyed they won at the death. Our defence was very poor. Blackett should be loaned to a promotion-seeking Championship club, not making his debut in one of the most scrutinised games at Old Trafford in recent years. Our attack was decent but lacked a killer final ball, and we need to make more of chances presented to us, even if they're half-chances. Mata was off the pace and Rooney was poor outside of his goal and the fk that hit the post, but I'm not worried about those two in the long run. Don't blame LVG or the players; the blame falls squarely on Woodward's shoulders imo. At least it looks like we've signed Benitia - fantastic signing. Still need a cb and a top cm before I can begin to forgive Woodward for being so appalling at his job. LVG even made a subtle dig in his post-match press conference - he said that he'd identified areas to strengthen, and that he had to wait and see what would happen. Clearly telling Ed to stop being a c*nt and do his ing job. Prick.

Fletcher looked good esp considering what he's been through. I wouldn't call Rooney's performance poor, he was good, just not great. There are positives to be found, albeit very small positives. The whole "let's just cross the ball in, that's bout to work" technique was lame last season and is even lamer this season. What's your opinion on Januzaj getting Giggs' old number?

Looks like 'Sky Sources' were used to get people throwing money on Sky Bet again. Well dodgy

Glad Liverpool won, but Liverpool is a team i'm on the fence about. They're obviously lacking the striking power that Suarez brought in, but they're still a fundamentally solid club. Sterling and Sturridge both played well and both have loads of potential as well.

Really think Liverpool should show some ambition and at least bid for Falcao.

Good first half from Liverpool but struggled in he second until the last 15 mins. Defence still a bit shaky, thought Lovren and Manquillo played well. Lucas had a poor game and gave the ball away cheaply at times. Sterling was fantastic. Mignolet annoys me sometimes when coming out for crosses but his save at the end highlights how good a shot stopper he is. Although not the best performance it was important to get it with some difficult games coming up.

Another match at St. James', another 2-0 win. Good.

He definitely has promise but I don't think we should have been in a position where we needed him to play. He was decent but made the mistake for the second goal. Fletch was dece. Disagree on Wayne, thought he lost the ball a lot. Think he'll get into gear soon though. I'm fine with it, he looks like he'll be happy to take it on and I think he's a good choice to replace Ryan.

Really think Liverpool should show some ambition and at least bid for Falcao. No chance. The man earns 275k p/w in a tax-free area. That's over 500k p/w Liverpool would have to pay just to keep him on the same wages.

Would love to see him in the Premier League.

Really think Liverpool should show some ambition and at least bid for Falcao. Think the Monaco project is all but over. Owners seem bored already. Sold James Rodriguez and haven't signed anyone of noté and apparently trying to offload Falcao on loan. He's literally the only big name striker still available in this window.

It's something to do with the owner going through a divorce too where his wife is absolutely rinsing him of all of his money so assets are likely to be sold. Falcao obviously the biggest asset they have left. A shame really as I like as many competitive teams in Europe as possible, but apart from Man City and Chelsea, these big money projects don't really work e.g. Anzhi and Malaga.

Really thought it would have worked out for Monaco. Seemed like such a big attraction due to the rich lifestyles and obviously the whole tax loophole. French league isn't exactly the worst either. They have dug themselves a hole though if they're trying to sell their top assets and run with what money they can because no one is going to want Falcao with his wage demands (Madrid don't seem too interested either) which I guess is why they're looking to loan him. And like you say, Liverpool should show that final bit of ambition. I would absolutely love to see Falcao in the Premier League.
