Wwe has posted up an article on superstars they reckon would be great replacements for the shield. Some pretty cool possibilities of modern superstars who could replace him. The odd one out though, john Morrison. All the other superstars are active in the wwe. It seems like such a random selection. Of course wwe articles are always provocative or false, but it's so strange. "What we’re trying to say is: Come back to us, JoMo. Nope. I don't get the love for him, never did during his WWE run. They have better guys in NXT.

I'd love a return. Heck he was my favorite wwecw wrestler. I was a Morrison mark hard when it was miz n Morrison. The tag division could greatly benefit from the miz and jomo reteaming. Also it gives miz direction

I think Morrison is a hell of a talent.

A real conflict with this guy; his personality lends itself more toward being a heel, but his in-ring work is brilliant, geared more toward being a babyface...I don't see him fitting in WWE nowadays though, sadly...

I wouldn't want to see him join Ambrose/Reigns.
Rollins vs Morrison would be Awesome to see though.

Morrison's wooden, awkward little boy promos as part of The Shield would be hilarious. But hilariously bad. I never saw the big deal with John Morrison. I'd be okay if he returned to team with the Miz. Help the tag division. I never saw him as a big singles star. That's exactly how I'd bring him back, too. Miz is kind of done now, and Morrison doesn't have the ability for singles, so the two of them back together anchoring the tag division again would be great. |

I also found it kinda odd they had him as an option.
I would not want him to join The Shield although him coming back in general would be awesome.
I'd like to see him re-team with Miz again although I'd rather him go for the IC Title again (or the US Title for the first time).

I still want this stable... Cause all four guys deserve better direction. Put them with Flair: New Horsemen. But don't let Flair overshadow them like he did with Fortune, which may be impossible. But you're right, that would be a sick stable. |

Watch his 2010 series with Sheamus, his January 2011 street fight with the Miz and him in the 2011 Elimination Chamber. This guy was on fire during this period as a face.
