Iverson and Shaq would have had the age old arguments about possessions. There is only one ball and that would not be enough for those two let alone Kobe and Shaq.

Wade is more than a small step down from Kobe and Lebron. Shaq at his best was better than Wade and Bosh combined. 2008 Dwayne wade: 30.2 pts 5 rebs 7.5 asts 2.2 steals 1.3 blocks 49% fgs No way shaq is better than that plus another all-star. Wade is the 3rd best sg of all time. It isn't like Shaq was untouchable. They wouldn't have been beat badly by the starless pistons if he was. Stats can’t tell the whole story. 2000 Shaquille O’Neal: 29.7ppg 13.6 reb 3.8 asst 3.0 blk 57.2% fgs Also that year add to that - nba mvp, nba champion and nba finals mvp. Shaq was finals mvp for all three lakers titles. Shaq didn’t have the ability to tryout for pro baseball. So then things went south in LA and they lost to the star-less pistons. Wade was never nba mvp. He was only finals mvp for one of his three titles and that was with older shaq. He was riding the coattails of lebron the next time around. Don’t even get me started on Bosh...So overrated. Here is a list of best sg’s of all time vs. centers according to espn and honestly ask yourself which list is harder to crack. SG’s 1. MJ 2. Kobe 3. Jerry West 4. Wade 5. Drexler 6. Iverson 7. George Gervin 8. Ray Allen 9. Reggie Miller 10. Earl Monroe C’s 1. Abdul-jabbar 2. Wilt 3. Russell 4. Shaq 5. Hakeem 6. Moses Malone 7. David Robinson 8. Ewing 9. Mikan 10. Walton In my opinion, every name on the centers list is better than the counterpart on the other list maybe except #1. Fun arguement. Did you watch Shaq’s whole career?

This is why I think a prime T-Mac with Shaq is a better argument than Iverson. T-Mac was loved by his teammates and was more than willing to share the ball. Problem was in Orlando he was literally the only guy with Hill always hurt so he had to dominate the ball. I think a healthy combo of Shaq and T-Mac easily take atleast 2 titles and possibly 4 with the depth that Lakers team had.

LaVar Ball is a ing idiot. What did he do now? Said Lonzo will take LeBron to the next level. Also being rumored that he leaked that Lonzo is injured to prevent the Lakers from trading him.

Love some Shaq. And id say yeah, he is better than wade based on impact on the game. But if I get to start a team and I get prime Shaq or prime wade AND PRIME BOSH...I don't have Shaq. I compare it to people saying how far and away LeBron is best player today. Sure, but woyld you take him over kd and steph? 8 games to 1 the last 2 years says you wouldnt, right? In fairness though, mvp is nothing more than a "who is the best player on the best team" award. Wade should have beat lebron out in 2008. But cleveland had a better record. Lebron was below wade in more categories than he was above. And I don't think he rode LeBrons coattails. He was the 3rd best player in the league the first 2 years together.

I only take 3 players in their prime over prime Shaq. Prime Shaq is pimer than prime Wade and prime Bosh combined in my book. This. Shaq was a freak of nature and I think a lot of people today don’t realize the impact he left due to traditional big men being almost non-existent in today’s game. Once in a generation gets thrown around a lot, but Shaq was the literal definition of it.

Guys like him don't come often and his mark in the NBA will be felt for a very long time. If another guy similar to his size and stature comes along in the future, I feel bad for that person. Shaq set the bar so high, I don't see it being surpassed for a long time. Him going to the Miami Heat really benefited that team. Even the guys he played with benefited them. Granted they say defense wins championships but there is something most don't realize. You need veteran players with championship experience with young hungry lions who want to win and capture the championship. Looking back at the season the Heat had in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005, the Heat ended the former years with a 42-40 record. The latter season, the Heat ended with 59-23. I am sure Shaq played a crucial role in helping the Heat the first season he was there.

I am sure Shaq played a crucial role in helping the Heat the first season he was there. Shaq’s influence on that team was huge. When he was traded to Miami in ‘04, a lot of analysts and fans wrote him off as being past his prime and broken down due to his toe injury that bugged him the previous season. The feud with Kobe did a lot of damage to his reputation as well. However, his first season with Miami turned out to be one of his best. He played in 73 games, averaged 22 pnts/10 rebounds, helped lead them to a narrow game 7 loss in the ECF against the defending champ Pistons, and came in 2nd place in MVP voting to Steve Nash. His second year was marred with a few injuries, but Pat Riley purposley limited his play so he would be fresh for the playoffs. While Wade was unquestionably “the man” in Miami by ‘05/06, Shaq’s presence in the paint cannot be understated and helped them to the title. Wade has stated himself that Shaq was a huge influence on him during his early years in the NBA and Shaq rehabbed his reputation greatly. Ive always been a Shaq fan, and I honestly had more fun watching him in Miami versus LA. He genuinely seemed happier and more focused during those first two years with Miami.

Yup Shaq was the man. I remember when he was traded, i held resentment towards Kobe for a while. I eventuality got over it when we acquired Pau Gasol.

Trae Young is trash in the summer league and getting manhandled by rookies. Can't wait to see him in the regular season. LOL

Read some reports that OKC Thunder are working with Melo's agent to facilitate a trade or possibly use the stretch provision and/or buyout. Carmelo ending up on the Lakers would be my best guess for his next destination.

Tony Parker agrees to a deal with Charlotte. Crazy after being with the Spurs for 17 years, but at least he will have a backup role behind Kemba Walker.
