I'm just ing furious that Jason Biggs has left the show . What was the story with that? Was he asked to leave because of all of his Twitter stuff or did he leave for other projects? I saw Seth Green was replacing him but I didn't see why he was replacing him. No movie looks like sh*t though, still haha. No one really knows. I'd tend to think he was fired by Nickelodeon as... well I'm sure you've seen his twitter feed. That and the thing about his wife hiring him a prostitute for his birthday that was everywhere. Even a couple episodes of this Season he was replaced by a stand in, which admittedly I didn't realize until I saw the credits, as the first episode it was for was the Pizza Face episode when Leo only had like 1 line. If Biggs has to go then I wish they'd keep the stand in because at least he sounds the part. I can't see Seth sounding anything like Biggs which is going to make the show pretty hard to watch for a while. American Pie guy was a Ninja Turtle? Wow. And I thought Eric from Boy Meets World being Batman was weird. Say what you want, but his portrayal of Leonardo was phenomenal. By far the best portrayal of Leo ever.

I have no doubts. It's just strange to think of him as a Ninja Turtle. However, I'm sure it was difficult for people to accept Eric Matthews as Batman too and I loved his work as Terry McGinnis on Batman Beyond.

Shredder looks terrible and this trailer seems to imply they're not going to portray The Shredder properly, so yeah.
That dubstep is severely out of place and random.

Eric was Lion-O in the new Thundercats show too, he did a sweet job.

LOL at all the Bay hate and "childhood dying" comments. Even if I hated this it wouldn't effect my opinions or memories of the Turtles from when I was a kid.
as usual I will wait until I see it before I pass final judgement. I will be going with my TMNT fanatic godson and my expectations aren't that high. I do worry about how Shredder seemed in that trailer though....
I hope it makes plenty of cash too.

To me it just shows a lack of imagination for someone like Bay or the producers to make a new intellectual property, instead of skewing something from years past.

To me it just shows a lack of imagination for someone like Bay or the producers to make a new intellectual property, instead of skewing something from years past. I read an interview with the screenwriter of the new Ninja Turtles and he said something along the lines of, "not being a slave to the source material".. The whole interview made me feel like he didn't understand the franchise at all.. Like he was mad that people expected him to use the decades worth of source material that people love, to write a new fresh take on the characters. I'm gonna give it a chance, but I'm not excited and I'm not really in a rush. In the year 2014, I think the "ruining my childhood" comment has turned into a lame attempt to smite a product that might have some connection to your younger self... Let. It. Go.

Of course being a brand that is known for a long time like TMNT will sell like hotcakes, I get that, but never would I say Michael Bay 'raped' my childhood or that my childhood died due to this or Transformers...I just can't see how a guy like him can present a movie that I can enjoy in some way...that's just me...

I don't really understand the Michael Bay hate. I've enjoyed a number of the films he's directed/produced (The Rock, Armageddon, 03 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the Hitcher and Nightmare on Elm Street remakes spring to mind). And directed probably my favorite music video of all time: That being said, I don't think the film looks very good, but will give it a shot. If it sucks then there are still 3 decent TMNT films out there. It won't affect my fandom of the Turtles.

They need to stop trying to make it look incredibly modernized and stop with the crappy CGI, it just makes them look like intellectually- disabled aliens

I'm actually hyped to see it. I hope it's a fun action/comedy movie, since they crossed The Ninja Turtle's path a long while ago. Is anyone disappointed in the Batman reference? Come on they don't even exist in the same universe! D: I'm hyped to see it but TMNT 90' will always be my favorite.

Especially the Island.....that stank to high hell IMO. What didn't you like about the Island, out of curiosity? I thought it was a pretty cool concept and it was fairly well executed, or at least acted. I personally like most of the stuff Bay has worked on, minus the Purge and TF2. The Purge was an awesome idea with horrible execution. TF2 was just a pile of sh*t period imo. I don't think the problem is Bay, because there is a time and place for what he does, but I just don't feel he's right for the Turtles. Based on what I've seen so far I don't expect that to change.

It looks like that white dude from TDK isn't Shredder after all. He's talking to a shadow face figure and says "we're updating your armor." So it appears we do get an actual shredder!

As for Transformers, I was never a fan of them so I've never seen the films.

I thought it was incredible.
