Elite 7. I looked for weeks and weeks at Walmart. My gym used to be next to Walmart so I checked every other day. I hit some other places in the area trying to find that set but nothing. Then one day I walked in after the gym and saw Tyson Kidd hanging on the pegs over some older Elites, I couldn't even tell you who they were at this point. Then I looked down and everyone from E7 was sitting in a row on the shelf. I snatched up HBK so fast it was like I was about to rob the place. I actually sold the HBK awhile ago because they were going for like $100 each on ebay. I kind of regret it looking back on that memory.

I've had two with Mattel. The first was E19 Brock. It's not worth anything now, but at the time I was barely collecting and I noticed it late one night at Walmart. I had to grab it as Brock is my favorite wrestler and I was so excited to own his first Elite.
Second is E23 Undertaker. Still wasn't collecting very hardcore, and didn't know this figure was out. This is the figure that got me back into collecting hands down. Such a fantastic figure.
Jakks, I had a bunch, but I was also a kid and didn't really. check the internet that much. The first Unchained Fury series and the R3 nWo figures definitely got me. The first BCA Austin. In the RA era, Carlito, Masters, Muhammad Hassan were all huge to me.
My girlfriend found a Black Widow when I was with her and my heart dropped. Same thing happened with Carnage

I have a few
1. I went to Kmart the day after Christmas to return a pair of shoes that my sister bought me that was too small. I went to the toy section and found an elite 12 Flashback Kane hidden behind a bunch of del rios.
2.I found a 1 of 1000 basic 3 Chris Jericho at wal-mart. I had been going to wal-mart early every morning to see if i could find one. I was shock to see one on the pegs. I can't remember what number it is.
3.I once found a CS moolah on the clearance shelf at meijers for 90 cents

Recently I went out shopping with my lady and I really wanted to hit TRU, long story short I got restless and wanted to go home, she was like "Let's just stop by there" I groan like "ok whatever, they're not gonna have anything good" I get to the aisle and I found both BAF Heyman and JR sets complete, it was during the 20% off elites deal and I had a 10$ off coupon so I cleaned up pretty well. I could hardly get my wallet out at the checkout I was so excited lol.

has to be a character i really want for me to get excited and i am usually too impatient for these moments to happen and will pay secondary market prices. that happened with diesel and nash so i was actually ticked seeing them at retail. just started collecting so the 3-4 cases of e7 i found at target wasnt that exciting since i though it was a common set. was excited when i found e11(really wanted punk, christian, barrett, and miz) but that walmart got like 10 cases in. was also excited when i found warrior and demolition and the rest of L4 minus orndorff at kmart.

Man it's an amazing feeling when you turn that corner to see that WWE aisle and spot what you've been hunting for. I've had plenty of those moments, but one specific moment, I went to walmart early morning like 6am and all of E27 was there! At the time there was the buy one get the other half off sale at TRU so I price matched Taker, RVD, Billy Gunn and Rikishi. What a good way to start a day haha

Well once at kmart I was just finished looking at the shelf warming censer and I turn the corner and a full case of elite 16 . I grabbed punk rock Zeke and orton didn't collect flashbacks at the time. Another one was when I forgot my wallet at home and me and my dad went to target and found all of elite 21 and he bought the whole set for me and told me not to tell my mom And the last one I went into big lots back in 2012 and at the time I was looking for the esr and I went to big lots to get something to hold my figures in and as I'm walking I saw probably one of the last esr. Out there

Finding my first 1/500, a Jakks series 18 Kurt Angle. I had the employee pluck a random box from a pallet at Walmart that I thought resembeled a Jakks box, opened it up and i was just happy to find the set since it was the series with the debut of Mr Kennedy, then my heart jumped when I saw the 1/500 Angle. From then on out I found 17 more 1/500s at retail, but the only other moment that compared to the first one was when I found 3 1/500 Mark Henry figures at the same store at the same time. I also found 2 1/500 Triple H's at the same store, same time.

Mine was a trade. I was at a toy show back in November that a friend told me about. I had just purchased an extra E23 Savage for the purpose of selling/trading. I took it with me to the show. I was looking everywhere for the E19 Ziggler. A guy there had it and the 20-0 Taker. Priced at $25 each. I said I'd give him Savage and $15 for the 2 and he took it.
That's my best moment so far. My GF was in Europe in the fall and found E18 Barrett on the same day..she called me and was like "it's this one you're looking for right" I marked out so hard over the phone I couldn't believe we actually found it.

one of my fondest was finding EG Series 3 Undertaker. The coon alerted me to where it was,and even hid it for me. but...there's always that worry, that chance, that downright FEAR it will be gone before you get there! and with nearly 2 hours between the time he hid it and the time I got off of work, those were a LONG 2 hours! factor in another 30 minutes driving time to get there, and I was antst to say the least!
another fond memory was of walking into Wal-Mart and finding Basic Series 2 Kane 1 of 1000 right there on the front of the pegs! I was going crazy trying to find any 1 of 1000 figures,so the first one was special!

The only one that comes to mind for me was finding Elite 11 CM Punk. This was right when he had started hitting retail, around the same time I started collecting again. I walked into K-Mart, this being maybe my second or third figure hunting trip since I started collecting again, and I spotted Elite 11 Wade Barrett right as I walked down the aisle. I didn't see Punk at first, but after taking Barrett off the peg, Punk was right behind him. Probably the happiest I've ever been to find a figure at retail.

When I found Christian with IC Belt to the BAF Laurnitis series. Couldn't find him anywhere! I think my next one will be when I find Orton and Axel to the BAF JR series.

Christmas shopping in 2005 I randomly walked through the toy aisle at Target and found a figure that eluded me since hitting stores back in early 2005 (and being WAY too expensive for me on Ebay at the time) CS 4 Yokozuna... TWO of them. I literally freaked, and picked up both. Sent one to a friend as a present and kept one for myself.
Summer of 2010, Legends 1 had just hit retail, and I was looking for The Road Warriors, Ricky Steamboat, and Stone Cold out of the set, I'd looked EVERYWHERE to no avail. I was on vacation at the time, and me and my brother were driving from Minneapolis where my sister and her family lived to Grand Forks North Dakota where my Mom's side of the family resides. We literally stopped at EVERY off town that had a Walmart, Target, K-Mart, Toys R Us...you name it. Lo and behold. We stopped in some K-Mart in the middle of BFE... and THERE THEY WERE! THE WHOLE SET! I picked up everyone from the set. Literally SKIPPED to the checkout with my hands full of figury goodness haha. That was the beginning of my Mattel collecting. I'd sworn off collecting when Jakks stopped. Well...
