The Ataris covering Don Henley's Boys of Summer
New Found Glory covering Go West's King of Wishful Thinking
David Cook covering Our Lady Peace's Innocent (I love OLP, I saw them in Vegas for my Bday last year, but David Cook does it better imo)

For me: Ryan Adams - WONDERWALL(OASIS) Legion - AT THE GATES(SLAUGHTER LORD) No More Mr Nice Guy - MEGADETH (ALICE COOPER) Wonderwall is one of those songs where I think the only good version is the original. Something about the way the song is structured only works with Liam's voice.

GNR are the gods of making covers better than originals.
Knockin' on Heaven's Door Live And Let Die Sympathy for the Devil Nice Boys Ain't It Fun Down On The Farm Don't Let It Bring You Down The Seeker
And of course, the greatest cover ever performed:
Gee, think I'm biased?

Not at all I love Axl's version of It's Alright too that he used to do before November Rain during the "Illusion" tours

Rod Stewart does a lot of covers, and they're nearly all better than the originals too.

How... how did you exclude Cornshucker? FWIW, I'd also tack on Hair of the Dog, Dead Flowers, and Heartbreak Hotel(absolutely love it) to this list.

This blew me away first time I saw it...and I hate these kind of shows, but this girl is incredibly talented; nothing like Bon Iver's or Birdy's versions, but after hearing theirs, prefer this one to the utmost...

Most covers Boyce Avenue take part in. If you don't know who they are do yourself a favor and look them up.
