The Best In The World aftermath TV taping has just begun, the fans are slapping the barricade, screaming at the top of their lungs when the theme song of the NEW Ring of Honor World Champion 'Unbreakable' Michael Elgin rocks the arena. Elgin comes down to the ring with the Championship on his shoulder proudly. He gets into the ring and gets on the mic, Elgin says that ever since he stepped into Ring of Honor in the top prospect tournament, he was fighting for the ROH World Championship. Ever since he laced up his wrestling boots, he was fighting for the ROH World Championship. And now that Adam Cole is in the past, he can show the world that he is World Champion material. Elgin continues to talk about Honor, until the lights cut off. They turn back on and inside of the ring, members of The Decade have surrounded Michael Elgin! Jimmy Jacobs, BJ Whitmer, Adam Page, and TaDarius Thomas circle Elgin. He fights them off for a few seconds, but the numbers add up. The Decade lay Elgin to waste, even hitting him with his own recently won ROH World Championship. Roderick Strong walks down to the ring slowly after. He gets handed the mic and talks about how all of this fame will go to Elgin's head, and he will be the next guy down there in Florida, so now they have to stop that from happening. The Decade will be the ones to break the unbreakable. They leave the ring with the title draped on the body of Michael Elgin. Opening Match - Four CornersRD Evans vs Andrew Everett vs Matt Taven vs The Romantic Touch It starts with Everett and Matt Taven. After they shake hands they exchange arm drags, Taven gets the upper hand for a few minutes. Everett stays grounded but eventually gets some momentum and takes Taven to the outside! All 3 other men brawl on the outside and Andrew Everett comes out of nowhere with a Shooting Star Press to the outside! He lands on all 3 others. ROH Chants ensue. He gets back into the ring, taking Taven with him. Kickout. Taven tags out to The Romantic Touch and some comedy ensues. Everett gets handed a rose and gets swoon by The Romantic Touch, only to get rolled up! Kickout. RD Evans tags himself in by slapping Everett's back. Touch doesn't notice as he is flirting with Veda Scott at ringside, RD Evans sneaks in with a schoolboy and gets the win! THE STREAK LIVES! Evans' entourage gets into the ring with Streak sign and all as they celebrate the victory Winner of the match: RD EvansA recap video plays of Best In The World, focusing on The Briscoes vs Matt Hardy & Michael Bennett match. It shows the superplex from the ladder through a table, then shows Maria getting away with Jay Briscoe's custom championship. The camera then cuts to The Briscoe's out on the farm. Jay and Mark stand side by side, as Jay rants on about how Matt Hardy got the ass whipping he deserved, but he didn't get back his damn championship. He didn't get to take Matt Hardy's stupid ass face off his belt. He didn't get the justice he wanted. He stresses that there is no place in Ring of Honor for Matt Hardy, and next week he has a challenge to make The Iconic One, so he better man up. Singles MatchCedric Alexander vs Silas Young Silas Young was just about to cut a promo on how he showed he is The Last Real Man at Best In The World when Cedric's music interupted him. They exchange punches to start the match, Cedric getting the momentum. Cedric hits a suplex combination and goes up top, only to miss. Silas keeps Cedric down and locks in some submissions, he picks apart Alexander a bit before he fights back. Cedric tosses Young to the outside and follows up with a huge flipping senton to the outside! He almost flew right into the crowd. The cade slaps commence and Cedric throws Silas Young into the ring. Young crawls across the ring to the outside and pulls out a strap! He begins to whip Alexander as the ref calls for a DQ. Winner of the match via DQ: Cedric Alexander He continues to do it, screaming "This is for you, Steen!" Until Kevin Steen runs down the ramp at full speed. He chases Young away, who backs his way up the ramp with a smirk. Steen gets on the mic and says that this is his last month here, and he doesn't want to spend it dealing with a guy who looks like his old gym teacher. He tells Silas Young that if he wants to be a real man, than he better fight like a real man. And that if he thought he would have the last laugh, he was wrong. The fans chant Kill Steen Kill as Steen tells Silas Young that this is far from over. It is now time for a new episode of The Fish Tank. Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly are seen backstage with a talk show like set-up. They talk about how they proved they are the BEST Tag Team at BEST in The World. They say that ROH can bring in whoever they want, they can can bring back a team in a time machine, it doesn't matter. reDRagon trains harder than anyone. They test ROH to find them some new challenges, until Daniels & Kazarian show up on the set. Fish and O'Reilly tell them they aren't allowed there and it is a closed set, so Daniels says he will be quick. He lays out a challenge, to either member of reDRagon. Next week, Christopher Daniels vs Fish or O'Reilly one on one, and if Daniels wins.. Bad Influence gets another title match. O'Reilly and Fish say no, until Kazarian questions their fighting spirit. Kyle O'Reilly steps up and says he will make Daniels tap out just like he made Kazarian tap out. A video plays, hyping the recently signed tag team of Rich Swann & Ricochet, The Inner City Machine Guns. It shows various highlights from them on the indy circuit, then cuts to the black screen. Main Event - Tag Team MatchACH & Tommaso Ciampa vs Jay Lethal & Caprice Coleman The TV Champion recruited Caprice Coleman to team up with him as he faced the Number One Contender to his title, ACH and the Sicilian Psycopath, Tommaso Ciampa. We start with Ciampa and Lethal, two men who know each other quite well. They go back and fourth, with neither man getting the upperhand. They shrug off to each other and go back at it, with Ciampa getting the upper-hand. Ciampa keeps Lethal down, and drops knees on his back! He continues using his knees as weapons. Lethal fights back, then makes the tag out. Coleman gets some offense, but it doesn't last long as ACH gets tagged in! ACH flies across the ring, coming back from the ropes at all angles. He knocks Lethal off the apron and dives out onto him! But that pays to be a dumb move as Coleman picks up the scraps and levels ACH with a brainbuster. One. Two. Kickout! ACH gets the shoulder up and continues to fight back, Lethal gets back on the apron and tags in. Lethal completely stomps down ACH, almost getting himself disqualified. ACH tags out and Ciampa comes in heavy. Ciampa ends up throwing Lethal into Coleman, which knocks him off the apron! Project Ciampa to Lethal, and Ciampa tags to ACH who climbs up to the top with the 450 Splash! One. Two. Three. ACH has just pinned the Television Champion! Will he be able to do it in the Singles match for the Championship? ACH and Ciampa celebrate the win together. Winners of the match: ACH & Tommaso CiampaWe go backstage to the locker room door of The Kingdom. Some bickering is heard, followed by Adam Cole walking out of the locker room. He speaks not a word, walks right past the interviewer, and continues on his way. The show goes off the air. ROH WRESTLING 2014 ©

At first glance, nice and clean layout. Thank you for keeping with ROH tradition of having the new World Champion open the following show with a promo. Got to see it live once. I haven't kept up completely with ROH so I was unsure of The Decade, but I've always liked the Jimmy Jacobs character and beating up Michael Elgin gets them over. Man, I don't even know the guys in this Four Corner Survival. I gotta step my indy game back up. I love the Briscoe's farm promos. Always intense and sometimes hilarious. Silas Young was always cool to me, and the DQ finish worked. Kevin Steen vs. Silas Young should be interesting when it does eventually happen. I believe that reDRagon is a great team and I liked the Fish Tank. Bad Influence interrupting was cool. Good main event but I haven't seen much of ACH or Caprice Coleman. I liked Adam Cole not saying a word. Wonder how losing the title will change him if at all. Good first show, even if I didn't know everyone. You have a solid layout and seem to grasp the ROH TV style well.

The fans are slapping the cade, ready for tonight to get started! REACH FOR THE SKY, BOY The Briscoe Brothers make their way down to the ring to a huge ovation. They both get into the ring, and Jay grabs a mic from ringside. He gets on the mic and says that when ROH went live on Pay Per View.. he got to show the world what a real ass whippin looks like when he destroyed Matt Hardy. But he didn't get what he wanted. OH HELL NO. He did not get what he wanted. Because as long as Matt Hardy's stupid ass face is on his championship belt, he ain't got what he wants. He tells Matt Hardy that he has a solution for this problem. He says that he has been in Ring of Honor since DAY ONE. The first DAMN match. And he's willing to risk that. He's willing to risk his CAREER to make sure Matt Hardy is gone from Ring of Honor. Jay Briscoe lays down the challenge, saying that the next time ROH goes live on Pay Per View is in August at Death Before Dishonor. And he has a challenge. Matt Hardy. Jay Briscoe. Fight Without Honor. LOSER LEAVES ROH. The fans explode, slapping the cade and beginning "MAN UP" chants. Briscoe says Matt Hardy's old ass has until the end of the night to answer the challenge, or he'll answer it for em'. Mark Briscoe picks up the mic and says he'll have his brothers back no matter who Matt Hardy brings as their theme song plays once more. Opening Match - SinglesACH vs TaDarius Thomas The Decade was banned from ringside for this one as former Adrenaline Rush teamates faced off One on One. TaDarius starts off storng with something to prove after being pinned by ACH at Best In The World. He goes right after ACH, stommping on him and keeping him leveled. He drops him with a viscious DDT and keeps him grounded with a headlock, the crowd gets behind ACH. He builds himself up and gets out of the hold, just for Thomas to drop him back down. TaDarius goes up top, but ACH moves and gets some momentum from that. ACH hits his signature highflying moves: forearms, dropkicks, clotheslines, which sends Thomas to the outside! Springboard Flipping Senton by ACH and the crowd loves it! ROH! ROH! ROH! He brings Thomas back into the ring and climbs to the top rope with the 450 splash similar to the finish of the Best In The World match. He gets the three count. Winner of the match: ACHACH celebrates his victory as he keeps his momentum roaring towards the TV Title. TaDarius walks backstage seeming to be worried that he dissapointed the other members of The Decade Matt Taven is in the ring awaiting his opponent as we come back. The Last Real Man Silas Young makes his way down the ramp with a mic. He gets on the mic as he walks down to the ring and begins to talk about how much of a whimp Kevin Steen is. He says that Kevin Steen was the only real man in that locker room beside himself, and now he has to revoke that card from him. He said Kevin Steen can leave in a month and go to where all the whimps play. The Last Real Man will stay in a place of Honor, and Kevin Steen has no honor anymore. He says that this match is dedicated to the manhood of Kevin Steen. Singles MatchSilas Young vs Matt Taven Young goes right after Taven, beating him down in the corner. The ref pulls Young away, who goes right back to work on Taven. They go up top, and Young drops him with a huge Superplex! Young keeps the momentum going until a slip up gives Taven the edge. Matt Taven nails a nice springboard dropkick, but Young stays on his feet. Another dropkick takes Young off his feet. Taven pins, but Young kicks out at one. Young gets up even more pissed and just goes bezerk on Taven, stomping him down completely. A nasty powerbomb to Matt Taven and he looks done for. Young gets him up on his shoulders, nails the Rolling Fireman Carry right into the PeeJeeWa Plunge for the victory. Winner of the match: Silas YoungYoung looks into the camera and shouts at Steen "I prove to the world you are not a real man before you leave" as we cut to commercial We come back to the backstage area where we see Jay Lethal with Truth Martini. They are talking to each other about what is next for the Television Champion. They got rid of the pest that was Matt Taven, and now they have a new pest.. ACH. Lethal says that he will give credit where it is due, and says ACH is a hell of a high flyer. But he's not a hell of a wrestler. And someone holding the Television Championship, should be ONE HELL of a Wrestler. Truth Martini agrees and tells Lethal he will keep his title with ease, it will be a piece of cake. Martini goes on to say that with the way things are in Ring of Honor now, everybody needs some Truth.. so the House of Truth is indeed recruiting. Martini laughs as he smokes on a cigar and we go back to the ring. Singles Match - If Daniels wins, Him and Kazarian get another tag title matchChristopher Daniels vs Kyle O'Reilly Neither Bobby Fish or Kazarian are out for this, as it seems Daniels and O'Reilly want to do this themselves. We start off with a lock up that goes around the ring, no one getting the advantage. O'Reilly backs Daniels up, hits a cheap shot, and continues the momentum. He uses some viscious kicks that keep Daniels down. O'Reilly also locks in a set of submissions, trying to keep Daniels grounded but he fights out. They both spill to the outside of the ring in a sick suplex spot! O'Reilly get the momentum and throws Daniels into the cade! He keeps him against it, gets on the apron, and hits his signature flying knee into the barricade! The crowd slaps on the cade and O'Reilly brings Daniels back into the ring. He goes to lock in the arm bar, but Daniels turns it into a quick roll up and gets the surprise victory! Winner of the match: Christopher DanielsBobby Fish comes running down the ramp right after as O'Reilly and Fish both put the boots to Daniels. Not much time before Kazarian comes running down with a chair to even it up. reDRagon clears away with the Tag Titles in hand and stare into the ring at Kazarian who is checking on Daniels. A video plays hyping the ROH return of the IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles at Field of Honor on August 15th in Brooklyn! Main Event Match - Six Man TagMichael Elgin & War Machine vs The Kingdom (Adam Cole, Matt Hardy & Michael Bennett) w/Maria Kanellis The match starts off with Hanson of War Machine and Bennett. Hanson is a giant, and Bennett wants no part in that so he tags in Matt Hardy. Kingdom members end up trying to tag each other in to avoid Hanson, until the member of War Machine attacks! He grabs the legal Matt Hardy and goes to town. Stiff shots form Hanson that Hardy fails to block, Hardy gets stuck in the turnbuckle of the opposing team. Hanson tags out to the Ring of Honor World Champion! Elgin hits the ring and just destroys. Knocks Bennett and Cole off the apron, drops Matt Hardy with a press slam. Elgin keeps momentum on Matt Hardy until Bennett and Cole get back on the apron to distract. Hardy gets away and makes a tag out to Adam Cole! He gets into the ring and gets some momentum, firing off on Elgin. Elgin tries to fight back, but another distraction keeps Elgin down. Cole keeps momentum, and calls for Hardy to get in the ring for a double team. They go to lift Elgin, but Jay Briscoe's theme song hits! Matt Hardy immediatly hears the theme song and rolls from the ring, he runs around the outside looking for an escape route. He exits throughout the crowd with the Iconic Championship. Cole is left in the ring to War Machine and Elgin. War Machine both get ahold of Bennett and Double Bucklebomb him to the corner as Elgin Bucklebomb's Cole. Cole bounces back into an Elgin Bomb and Elgin gets the 3 count. Winners of the match: Michael Elgin & War MachineElgin holds up the Championship and taunts with The War Machine, until the lights shut off and turn back on with Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs on the ramp. They stare down the ring at Elgin & War Machine as ROH goes off the air. ROH WRESTLING 2014 ©

Early days in your diary but early signs are it looks promising.
Nice simple layout. Too early to comment on stories but so far so good.
Not sure if it's ROH like, early impressions are it's a sports entertainment take on ROH.
One thing i did notice unless in wrong is you don't date your shows when you mentioned the Aug PPV I looked for a date to see how long out we were and no date.
There's still room for improvement but that will come with time so for now I would just say keep getting some shows under your belt.
When you get chance check out my TNA diary you may find some old ROH darlings on board.

Ring of Honor TV kicks off from Cincinnati, Ohio this week and the theme song of Kevin Steen rocks the arena. The fans slap on the cade and get ready to hear Kevin Steen speak. He gets on the mic, but the fans keep chanting before he can talk. He thanks them and says it's time to get serious. He says that tomorrow night is the last date he is booked for Ring of Honor. The next show, is indeed, the last time Kevin Steen will be in Ring of Honor. He lays down a challenge. No Disqualification against Silas Young tomorrow night at the Reclamation event in Dearborn. The fans chant 'KILL STEEN KILL', all wanting to see this showdown. Surprisingly, the theme song of The Decade interrupts and out walks all 5 members. Roderick Strong holds the mic in his hand and says he knew that Kevin Steen would fall down this path. He knew Kevin Steen was no better than Bryan Danielson. No better than Claudio. No better than CM Punk.. No better than his friend, El Generico. He used this place as a launching pad. He's turning his back on all of the fans, and they are cheering him for it! Strong says that tomorrow night may be his last night, but as far as The Decade is concerned, he won't make it that far. All 5 members hit the ring and get on the apron, surrounding Steen. They get into the ring and attack! Steen pushes off Page and Thomas, but Whitmer and Jacobs are too much. They all beat down on Steen, but Michael Elgin runs down to the ring! The ROH World Champion hits the ring with a steel chair that makes The Decade clear the ring. Elgin gets on the mic and says that ever since The Decade stuck their nose in his business two weeks ago, they can't keep their nose out of anyone's business. Elgin says he will miss Kevin Steen, but before he goes.. he wants to be able to say he tag teamed with Mr. Wrestling. Niguel McGuinness comes down the ramp behind The Decade and says that sounds good, so he books Roderick Strong, Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer against Kevin Steen and Michael Elgin for tonight! He says Thomas and Page shouldn't worry, they are in action.. next. ————————————————————————— Opening Match - Tag Team MatchThe Decade (Adam Page & TaDarius Thomas) vs War Machine (Hanson & Rowe) Page and Thomas stay in the ring as the other 3 members of The Decade are told to go backstage. The newly signed tag team of Hanson & War, War Machine step out onto the stage. They come out hyped and ready. We start the match with Hanson just clubbing down on Adam Page. He tosses him to the center, then back to the corner, and the tags in Rowe. Rowe and Hanson hit a big double suplex, then a nice clothesline combo onto Page. They keep control, but Page rakes the eyes and gets out. Tag to Thomas, who springboards into the ring and takes Rowe down. Thomas keeps the momentum, and keeps the big man down. Cover, but a kickout at 1. Rowe gets the momentum back and begins firing on all cylinders. He drops Page off the apron, nails a huge spinebuster. Pinfall, Thomas kicks out. Tag out to Hanson who just demolishes Thomas with a haymaker. Page with the blind tag, he tries to sneak in for momentum but it backfires. The big man Hanson completely clears house, taking Thomas off the apron then turns to Page. He looks out to Rowe, and they drop him with a wicked double sit out powerbomb. Hanson pins Page down. It's done. Winners of the match: War MachineHanson and Rowe stay in the ring to celebrate as Page and Thomas walk backstage disappointed with themselves, not wanting to hear from rest of The Decade. ————————————————————————— A video plays recapping The Romantic Touch vs Jay Lethal last month at an event. It shows The Romantic Touch being unmasked to be Matt Taven mid-match. Taven eventually defeats Lethal, but billed as The Romantic Touch. Lethal retained the title last month, and now due to Proving Ground rules, The real Romantic Touch will get a Television Championship match next week. Jay Lethal says he will pass through the Romantic Touch and then dominate ACH. Truth Martini follows up with "and that's the TRUTH." He laughs maniacally while holding onto his book. Singles MatchBobby Fish vs Kazarian After Daniels defeated O'Reilly off a small package last week, Bobby Fish came into this match with something to prove. Neither of their tag team partners at ringside, they tie up. They go around the ropes, with Fish backing Daniels into the ropes. Cheap shot. Fish keeps momentum, charges Kaz into the turnbuckle. Seems Fish is focusing on the arm as he stomps down on it, then drops a knee down. Keeps the arm wrenched down for a few seconds, but Kazarian powers out while the crowd claps. Kazarian fights out, goes off the ropes, and hits a few arm drags. Fish counters and tosses Kazarian over the ropes, but Kaz launches himself back over and nails a DDT on Fish in mid air! Kaz hooks the leg, but Fish kicks out. Kaz hangs Fish up on the ropes gut first, goes up top... and leaps off with a leg drop to the rope-hung Fish! That looked wicked. Fish somehow kicks out again and backs himself into the corner, Kazarian charges in but the ref gets bumped. The ref is down. Kaz tries to grab Fish, but Kyle O'Reilly sneaks in from the crowd! He runs in and nails Kaz in the head with the Championship. He sneaks into the ring, lifts Kaz up and Fish runs in for Chase The Dragon. O'Reilly leaves the ring as Fish pulls the ref up, Daniels runs down too late. One. Two. Three. Winner of the match: Bobby FishDaniels charges right down to the ring and ducks under Fish. He clotheslines O'Reilly over the top rope! Fish charges at Daniels but gets sent out to O'Reilly. Christopher Daniels springboards to the outside! Best Moonsault Ever to the outside! Daniels just took out reDRagon and he is fired up. He gets into the ring to help up Kazarian as we cut away ————————————————————————— We come back as Cedric Alexander makes his way down to the ring to a good ovation, he hasn't been heard from much since his win over Roderick Strong. Cedric gets on the mic and begins to speak. He says that ever since he got the biggest win of his career when he made Roderick Strong TAP OUT.. he got put on the side. Roderick Strong got to hop up just because he has held that World Championship before. Cedric says he has done more than enough to prove himself and says Niguel McGuinness should get out here and make this right. A machine like pulse hits off the p.a system and cuts Cedric off. Tommaso Ciampa makes his way down to the ring in street clothes as well with a mic already in his hand. He tells Cedric that he understands completely, and that he too thinks that Cedric has proved himself. But there is a line. There is an order. And at the front of that line, is the Sicilian Psychopath. Ciampa says he never got the real chance to shine through for the World Championship, and he's waited long enough as well. Cedric gets into his face, but then realizes that he could be right. Cedric tells Ciampa that he knows he has been here longer.. and he has waited longer, but he's also held gold before. He's not as hungry. Ciampa gets offended as Cedric questions his hungriness and immediately talks in different tone. He tells Cedric that if he wants to find out how hungry he really is, he can find out whenever he wants. Cedric makes the challenge for tomorrow night in Dearborn, and Ciampa accepts. We cut backstage to Michael Bennett with Maria, Adam Cole, and Matt Hardy all talking to each other. Adam Cole steps up and asks Hardy what he will say to Jay Briscoe. Hardy looks around frightened as the name is mentioned. Maybe a bit sarcastic. He tells Cole that he will reply to Briscoe when the time is right, because right now he doesn't deserve it. Cole turns over to Bennett and starts to give marching orders, but Bennett questions Cole. Bennett says that Cole couldn't even retain his title, why should he still be giving out orders? Cole says that Bennett's never done anything worth a crap in ROH, aside from get beat in every big match. Maria looks annoyed, as does Bennett. They look back at Matt Hardy, who looks around confused and leaves. Maria scowls at Cole as her and Michael Bennett walk away as well. The camera closes with Cole looking away confused and distraught ————————————————————————— Main Event - 3 on 2 Handicap MatchThe Decade (Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer, and Jimmy Jacobs) vs Michael Elgin and Kevin Steen We start off with Elgin and BJ Whitmer. Elgin just goes right after him, and holds him in the corner with punches. Elgin tosses Whitmer clear across the ring! He crawls across and tags out to Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs charges in with an unorthodox style and drops Elgin while he's off guard. Jacobs throws Elgin into the corner, and tags back out to Whitmer. Elgin slides Whitmer onto his shoulders quickly, and then grips up Jacobs! He nails the fall away slam with samoan drop on both men! Strong sneaks in from behind and grounds Elgin before he keeps his momentum going. Whitmer and Jacobs beat on Elgin in the turnbuckle, taking their turns. Roderick Strong wants in to pick up the scraps. Mr ROH comes into the ring and just takes it to Elgin with a wicked knee. He covers, but Elgin gets up. Strong starts slapping on the head of Elgin, getting him frustrated. Elgin catches onto Strong and holds him in the air for the stalling suplex, but Jacobs comes in to stop it. Elgin lifts Jacobs up as well! Double stalling suplex! Whitmer runs in to stop it, but gets intercepted by Steen who holds Whitmer in a suplex as well! The crowd counts down as Steen and Elgin hold The Decade up for a huge suplex! They drop with it. Steen goes back out to the apron where Elgin tags him in! Steen comes in and gets the crowd pumped up. He throws Jacobs and Whitmer out of the ring and comes right to Strong, who tries to get away. Steen lifts Strong with a german suplex and drops him. Steen stays on the attack, and ends up getting Strong in the corner seated. Steen runs acrross the ring for the Cannonball, but gets intercepted by BJ Whitmer with a viscious clothesline. The Decade pick apart Steen now, telling him he should've never said he was leaving. They stomp down on Steen and take turns toying with him. Strong throws him into the corner, and makes the tag to Jimmy Jacobs. Double DDT onto Steen, but he kicks out. Jacobs tries to keep Steen grounded, locking in the headlock. The crowd claps for Steen and he fights through, getting to his feet. Steen gets Jacobs into the corner, but Whitmer runs in. He throws Whitmer to the opposite corner! Steen runs to Jacobs and nails the cannonball splash, then runs to Whitmer and hits it as well! The crowd is AMPED! Strong tries to cut in, but Elgin tosses him out of the ring. Elgin gets ahold of Jimmy Jacobs, and Powerbombs him right into the turnbuckle! Jacobs bounces out right into a Package Piledriver from Kevin Steen! Steen goes to make the cover, but the lights shut off when the rest of The Decade hits the ring. Winners of the match via disqualification: Kevin Steen & Michael ElginTaDarius Thomas and Adam Page both hit the ring and beat on Steen. I don't know a lot about ROH I'm afraid so a lot of this is lost on me.
The opening promo was good, well written. I understand Steen and Strong are top stars and they looked it. I like seeing Elgin help out Steen, the World Champ should ideally always be involved in the top angle. I'm surprised you didn't put over members of the decade as they seem to be your top stable, not sure who War Machine are in all honesty but I'll assume they're a face tag team. It gives them a little build either way going over a stable's stooges so its good. I like the angle of someone hiding their identity to get a title shot. That's different, I like it. Fish over Kazarian makes sense seeing as the tag team are trading wins. Ciampa and Alexander going at it to be top contender? Good booking, I like it. Strange to see in-fighting amongst a stable like that - maybe seeds of split being planted? DQ finish to your main event keeps everyone looking strong. The post match booking was a little odd for me - maybe it's because I don't know the charatcers? That is, however, the only part of the show I didn't get.
Show is well structured, I like the writing and the layout, and for the most part the booking seems to be fairly straight forward and positive. Good stuff

I haven't followed Ring of Honor a whole lot in the past few years, but I did watch Best in the World and have a bit of knowledge, so I'll gladly give this diary a go.
A great promo from Kevin Steen to start things off. Definitely will be sad to see him leave Ring of Honor, but I am looking forward to his No Disqualifications match against Silas Young. Interesting to see The Decade get involved and berate him, as well as the other ROH alumni that made it to WWE. Michael Elgin's save was cool, and the main event should be a good one. A solid opening contest with War Machine defeating the younger members of The Decade. I would imagine that they will take the ROH Tag Team Championships from reDRagon at some point soon. Speaking of reDRagon, an impressive victory for Bobby Fish over Kazarian. Liked the aftermath, though, with Christopher Daniels taking out Fish and O'Reilly. A solid promo between Cedric Alexander and Tommaso Ciampa to set up their match tomorrow night at Reclamation. I'm a fan of Ciampa, so I would like to see him get the win, but I think Alexander will. A bit of tension among Adam Cole, Matt Hardy, Michael Bennett and Maria, I see. I like the unit, so I would hope that they remain together for the time being. Lastly, a great Handicap main event. The disqualification finish worked well, but I was very confused by Silas Young's save. Either way, I am still looking forward to his match with Steen at Reclamation, as well as the whole event. A very solid show.

Jay Briscoe immediately steps down from the apron and chases after Hardy, who runs backstage upon seeing it. Mark spends too much time watching Hardy and his brother, so Kaz drops down on the ropes and leaves Mark hanging. Kaz climbs onto the top turnbuckle with Mark and holds around his shoulders. He leaps into the air with Mark in his arms and backflips through the air! He slams Mark right on his back and lands right beside him. The leg is hooked after the Flux Capacitor. Daniels and Kazarian get the win! Winners of the match: Bad InfluenceKazarian and Daniels celebrate their questionable victory, but are happy about the momentum heading into their Tag Team Championship rematch against reDRagon. Mark is left out in the center of the ring when Jay Briscoe walks back out through the curtain to check on his brother. He nods at Daniels and Kaz with a pissed off look and gets on the mic. He says that he takes Matt Hardy sticking his fat ass nose in his match tonight as a challenge accepted, so he calls Niguel McGuinness out to the ramp. Niguel comes out to the ramp and tells Jay he doesn't have to put his career on the line. He doesn't have to take it this far. Briscoe says he has to because he needs to get rid of Matt Hardy. He says get Hardy to agree. Contract for Contract. Loser Leaves ROH. Matt Hardy sneaks his way out to the ramp behind McGuinness and talks into his mic. He tells Briscoe he's on. He says he cannot wait to ruin the career of a man who has been in Ring of Honor since day one. And it will be so worth it. Briscoe says if Hardy loses, he gets his Championship Belt back and Matt Hardy's fat ass never shows his face at an ROH show, an ROH tryout, hell even a damn ROH Youtube video ever the hell again. He throws down the mic as the Fight Without Honor has been made for Death Before Dishonor! Steen gets down to the ring and gets on the mic. He says the atmosphere for this show has been like no other and that every single match tonight tore it down. Steen says that, while he's not complaining, he is still curious as to why Silas Young saved his ass last night from The Decade. He calls out The Last Real Man. Young comes down in ring gear, ready for his huge match with Steen. Young gets on the mic and says that if he calls himself The Last Real Man, he better act like a damn man, and he better prove himself to be a damn man by making sure his opponent is at 100%. He says that this match with Kevin Steen, Steen's final match in Ring of Honor, is the biggest steping stone he could ask for. He says he respects the opportunity, but it's time for find out this 'Last Real Man' thing ain't no joke. Bobby Cruise makes the in ring introductions as if he would for a Championship match to respect the farewell to Kevin Steen. Streamers galore when it is time for Steen to step up. The officials clear the ring of streamers. Main Event - No Disqualification (Kevin Steen's Farewell)Kevin Steen vs Silas Young They meet up at the center and shake hands. The crowd chanting "KILL STEEN KILL" as loud as they possibly can. Steen points around to the fans to the tone of their chanting with a smirk, living up his last match with this atmosphere. Silas lets Steen live it up for a second before going after Steen with a knee to the side. He keeps driving knees into Kevin Steen and he backs into the turnbuckle. Silas Young just wrecks Steen with a Spinebuster into the turnbuckle. Steen holds his back as he comes out of the corner from that. Silas leaps up into the air with a huge Lariat as Steen comes back. Silas Young is fighting with a chip on his shoulder tonight. He quickly rolls out of the ring and looks under the apron skirt. He grips onto a steel chair and pulls it from underneath. He brings it into the ring and goes to swing it up, but Steen trips around his legs and swings Young head first to his own chair! Steen grips onto the chair and snaps it off the spine of Silas Young! The Last Real Man arches his spine up after that shot. Steen swings the chair back down once more and drives it off the spine again. He swings one final time and cracks the back of Silas Young. Steen wedges the chair in the turnbuckle sideways, holding it in place. He grips onto Silas' head and moves towards the chair, but Young gets up behind him and drops him with a heavy German Suplex! Legs bridged up, but Steen kicks out with ease. Silas Young locks in a crossface, but Steen rolls all the way out of the ring with the Crossface still somewhat held in. Steen drags Silas through the ropes and just slams him side first into the barricade! WOW! Steen follows up by lifting Young up to his shoulders and Powerbombing him spine first to the apron. Vintage Steen! Steen looks up underneath the ring and grips onto a ladder! He leans it sideways up against the barricade. He whips Silas Young right against it and he smashes back first. Steen chops onto Young and holds him against the leaned ladder. Steen climbs onto the apron and sizes up Young against the ladder. He runs across the apron and flips through the air, going right towards Young, but Young rolls off the ladder and Steen flips right into it spine first! OUCH! Holy crap. Young got out of the way just in time. Steen lays out back first against the ladder as Young moves to a knee with a sick grin. Young moves back near Steen and pulls him up. He lifts Steen onto his shoulders and then drops back quickly with a Samoan Drop onto the same ladder! Another viscious move from Silas Young. Steen rolls off the ladder and slumps to the outside of the ring. Young looks around underneath the ring for new weapons and he digs up the sadistic strap that he has used before so many times... he begins to grab it, but looks back at Steen and puts it back down. A sign of respect? He instead grips onto a trash can, with the same evil intention. He yanks the trash can out and moves his way towards Kevin Steen. He puts the trash can to the side and pulls Kevin Steen up into him. He brings Kevin Steen's head to his legs, but Steen powers out and lifts Silas onto his shoulders. He quickly spins Silas Young to the side and plants him face and body first into the trash can! F-Cinq onto the trash can! Silas Young lays right in the dented metal in pain. He grips onto Silas' body and brings him near the ring. He rolls Silas Young's body into the ring and grips onto a steel chair from under the ring! He brings it to the ring as Silas tries to get away. He cracks it off Silas spince once before Silas gets into the turnbuckle in a seated position. Steen quickly sets the chair right in front of Young's face, turns to the other turnbuckle and runs right back at Young! He front flips down to the turnbuckle and smacks his back off the chair right into Silas Young's face! CANNONBALL!!! Steen drags Young out of the wreckage and pulls him between his legs. The legs of Silas are hooked up and he's dropped right back down on his head! Package Piledriver! Steen pins Silas Young down. One. Two THRE-- SILAS YOUNG KICKED OUT! WHAT!? HOW!??!? The Last Real Man just kicked out of a Package Piledriver! Steen looks around with a crazy look on his face, not sure what else to do. He goes to the outside and looks underneath the ring once more. He grips onto a table! He pulls it out from underneath the ring to a huge pop. He brings it into the ring and sets it up near the turnbuckle. He holds onto Young, but Young ends up shoving Steen over the ropes! Steen hangs on and stands onto the apron. Silas Young gets onto the apron with Steen and grips around his shoulder. He charges at the turnbuckle post with both men on the apron and swings him arm first into it! Steen falls off the apron off the impact of him crashing into the turnbuckle post. Silas Young stays right on the attack and lifts Steen back up, only to whip him spine first into the steps. Silas Young is just on fire! He brings Steen into the ring looking to close the deal. He lifts Steen onto his shoulders and clears a path towards the turnbuckle, but Steen slides off behind him! He spins Silas around to him and goes for another Package Piledriver, but Young tosses Steen over his head to his back! Silas Young brings Steen near the table this time, but Steen completely turns it around an nails Silas with a haymaker! Silas gets layed out on the table and Kevin Steen looks down at him. Steen gets to the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle, looking down at Silas Young. Young pops up off the table before Steen can do anything! He rights Steen, lefts him, and then nails an uppercut. Silas climbs onto the second turnbuckle and slides Steen onto his shoulders. Silas Young leaps off towards the table with a frontflip and drops Steen through it spine first! Rolling Fireman Carry off the top rope through the table! Oh my god, the wreckage. Silas Young crawls on top of Steen in the midst of broken wood... One.... Two..... Three... Winner of the match: Silas YoungSilas Young has just shocked Ring of Honor. The fans look around in shock, but still in awe of the match they just witnessed. A battle between two men who wanted to entertain the people, and boy did they ever accomplish that. Silas Young gets his hand raised high and Steen lays out in the table wreckage. Silas helps Steen get up and shakes his hand.. the fans throw streamers into the ring. Silas Young holds Steen's hand into the air and points at him before exiting the ring. Steen grips onto the mic and looks around to the fans in attendance. He brings the mic up and begins speaking.. "You know, I thought about what I would say to each and every single one of you for this moment... and I only found one fitting." He puts the mic down a second as he is clearly emotional. "My name.. is Kevin Steen.. and I.. LOVE.. RING OF HONOR." He puts the mic down as "Thanks Steen Thanks" chants with barricade slaps and all. The show comes to a close with Kevin Steen on his knees with streamers surrounding him. ROH WRESTLING 2014©

Reclamation -
Don't get to see ROH as much as I once did but heard alot about Bobby Fish, he was the stand out name in the opener so it was smart to have him going over. Earning the tag champ a shot at the World champ who is facing the other half of the tag champs later tonight.
You're clearly getting behind Roderick Strong and The Decade and he had a good match with ACH who benefited from being in the ring with Strong.
Ciampa/Cedric is interesting because I would think there's more money/potential in Cedric but at the moment you are behind Cedric so it was reading the match go the opposite way to how I felt it should of. Ciampa's words after are something to keep an eye on but Ciampa has the potential to be a top star in ROH.
Ricochet is a huge signing for ROH - not sure if Bennett is the ideal first opponent but Ricochet got a impressive win and it continued the story between Cole & Bennett, so it worked.
Michael Elgin retains the title over O'Reily, nice touch having Fish on commentary but the bigger story is the attack by Strong & Decade following the match. Elgin/Strong rivalry is going well they also have a history you could play on a little more too going forward.
Good match between Briscoes/Bad Influence I would have liked to have seen a clean finish you still could have got to where you wanted afterwards with Matt Hardy but I think the match needed a clean finish on this occasion.
Huge signings and big matches made for Death before Dishonor - Chris Sabin V Matt Sydal & Career Ender between Briscoe & Hardy. PPV looks great.
Finally Kevin Steen gets the send off he deserves and does the right thing on the way out putting Silas Young over. Never seen Young in action but read good things about him. Really good match and nice ending for Steen.
Really good show, sets up the PPV and coming weeks up well. Enjoying this diary.

ROH Reclamation: Sunday 20th July 2014...Alright, this looks promising. This diary has crept up out of nowhere and it's nice to see someone doing something completely alternative to what everybody else is doing. Bobby Fish getting the win in the four corners opening contest was fine. ROH seem to enjoy doing four corners to open shows and to determine contention to the ROH World Television Championship in recent months. Matt Taven has already had his opportunity (and I am very fond of Taven's work at that), so the result was fine. I'm quite impressed by Fish's work, but I can't see him managing to take the ROH gold away from Jay Lethal. Speaking of which, a decent defense of the ROH World Television Championship by Jay Lethal against the Romantic Touch - I have always been fond of Rhett Titus, and this persona he is doing is enjoyable stuff. Lethal continues to prove himself as a solid champion, he has grown into his own persona with Truth Martini in his corner. I liked ACH making the save for the Romantic Touch after the match, strange shenanigans on display by Lethal here. ACH has also really impressed me with what I have seen of him. The match he had at Global Wars was a belter. Next, in what could be a damaging booking decision by weakening the number one contender to the ROH World Television Championship in a match with the number one contender to the ROH World Championship. Additionally, I like the ranking system - but there are so many top contenders to Lethal's gold that it's getting hard to follow: so ACH gets the next title shot, and THEN Bobby Fish does afterwards? It could be made clearer. The right man won, as veteran Roderick Strong moves up to face the ROH World Champion next. The clean finish hurt ACH's credibility, though. Hopefully it's rebuilt before he faces Lethal. I don't think that Lethal needed to come out after the match though, this show so far has been built almost entirely around the ROH World Television Championship division. Nigel McGuinness making up a headlining match for the next ROH pay-per-view sounds great, as expected we will see Matt Sydal return to Ring of Honor to face Chris Sabin. No problem with this one, I believe both men will be great additions to the roster for certain. Death Before Dishonor has potential to be a match of the year show already. Cedric Alexander defeating Tommaso Ciampa was acceptable, another solid match here. Though it appears as though a rubber match is needed to settle the score between these two solid talents. I was surprised to see Ricochet get a win against Michael Bennett - I see Bennett being a future main eventer in ROH, but it was nice to see Ricochet get a win in this tremendous clashing-styles affair. Kyle O'Reilly had a decent effort in facing the new ROH World Champion, Michael Elgin. Elgin could believably carry ROH for the next year, let alone a few months, if you ask me. Bobby Fish being on commentary was an additionally nice touch. Good choice in not having a predictable defense of the ROH World Championship, instead having a Proving Ground bout here. I see that the Decade will be Elgin's next big rivals, and I have no problem with Jimmy Jacobs finally getting some main events into his system. There's no way he will take the gold from Elgin though. I can imagine Bad Influence and the Briscoe Brothers would tear the house down, but the right men won in this match, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian successful in this bout. Matt Hardy's involvement in the match was nice and should lead to some build going into Death Before Dishonor with Jay Briscoe. I hope to see more from Kaz and Daniels in the coming months. Their match with ReDRagon should be a solid one. Hardy's continued involvement after the match was nice, responding to the challenge laid out by Jay Briscoe. And finally, a fitting farewell for Kevin Steen who will now go onto bigger things with the WWE. Silas Young with the win was a great one, Steen putting over a younger, less experienced talent with potential. It sounded like a brutal No Disqualification bout, and I liked the segments from Steen addressing the fans before and after the main event. Overall, a strong match formulaic with ROH's show formats. No complaints from this one, you have a lot of potential with this diary and I hope to read more in future.

After the hellacious event that was Reclamation last week, Ring of Honor had some unanswered questions and some new battles to be fought. We kick off the night with the theme song of Cedric Alexander hitting the p.a system. He steps down to the ring to a good reaction and gets on the mic. Cedric says that at Reclamation, he went against the odds again, he defeated Tommaso Ciampa. So not only has he made Roderick Strong tap out, he also defeated The Silcian Psychopath. He says that while it was a good match, he was still one step ahead of Ciampa. He says that after those two big wins.. there should be NO DOUBT that Cedric Alexander is ready for a shot at the Ring of Honor World Championship. The familure machine like pulse cuts off Cedric as he speaks and Tommaso Ciampa steps down to the ring with his signature taunt. The crowd slaps on the cade to the beat of his theme song as he makes his way up. He gets in the ring and says that Cedric is right, he did get a win. He did go against the odds. But he did it with this thing on his side, this thing called luck. He got lucky enough to get a win. Lucky enough to spin his shoulders down for three seconds. But, he will never get that lucky again. Cedric says it's not about luck, it's about the skill, and while his win was questionable, it was still a win. Ciampa says that the people want more. The people want to see them go at it again. He then asks Cedric if he really wants to be the guy that beat Tommaso Ciampa on a rollup. Niguel McGuinness walks out with a mic in hand, he stands on the stage and quickly begins speaking. He says that Ciampa vs Cedric at Reclamation was a great match, and there will be plenty more where that came from. Because these two men are what Ring of Honor are all about, they will go at it in a Best of Seven series! With the first man to Four wins getting a future Ring of Honor World Championship Match. Niguel says that after Reclamation, Cedric is up 1-0 in the series.. and match two? Well that starts right now. Opening Match - Match 2 of 7 in SeriesCedric Alexander vs Tommaso Ciampa The Code of Honor is effect again as Cedric and Tommaso shake hands out of respect. Ciampa goes into this one with something to prove after the loss at the Reclamation event. Ciampa quickly grips onto Cedric and puts him in a side headlock. Cedric shoves Ciampa back to the ropes, but Ciampa comes back with a big shoulder block, then to the opposite ropes and back to the center where Cedric cuts him off with a Calf Kick! Cedric follows up with a short arm Clothesline, then a reverse atomic drop. Ciampa bounces off Cedric and comes right back with a huge Lariat that takes a lot out of both men! Ciampa crawls along the mat and gets to his feet, walking right towards Cedric. He leans Cedric against the ropes and goes right at him with knees to the ribs! Ciampa charges back at Cedric and clotheslines him right over the ropes that sends both men crashing to the outside, but Ciampa lands on his feet! Wow! Ciampa grips onto Cedric and throws him into the barricade, following up with the running knee in the corner! He then throws Cedric to the opposite corner and hits him with the running knee to the jaw in that barricade corner as well! Ciampa is on fire. He drags Cedric back into the ring for the pin, but Cedric kicks out at two. Ciampa quickly pulls Cedric back up and throws him to the ropes, but Cedric comes back underneath! Big enziguri from Cedric Alexander that knocks Ciampa woozy. He stays on his feet stammering when Cedric pulls him up into the air by the tights and drops him on his neck with the Brainbuster! Cedric with the pinfall. One. Two! Ciampa gets the shoulder up. Cedric looks around to the sides and it looks like he wants to end this right now. He drags Ciampa up to his feet and ducks behind him, but Ciampa spins right behind Cedric! He grips around his gut and lifts him backwards with a German Suplex that makes Cedric flop onto his chest. Cedric grips along the ropes when Ciampa trips him up and plants him in a seated position in the turnbuckle. Ciampa pulls his knee pad down and charges at Cedric, but Cedric pulls and blocks it! Cedric yanks onto Ciampa and goes for the Lumbar Check, but Ciampa spins right around and quickly pulls Cedric to his shoulders! He lifts him high into the air and drops him down to his knees for the Project Ciampa! Cedric is down. One. Two. Three. Winner of the match: Tommaso Ciampa (Tied Series 1-1)Ciampa pulls up to his feet after evening the playing field with a win he needed. He stands on the turnbuckle and taunts to the fans as Cedric looks on. They shake hands once more, but this time Cedric reminds Ciampa that it's not over. Far from it. Cut to a video hyping Ring of Honor on Pay Per View with Death Before Dishonor on August 24th. This specific video highlights "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin's title win and then the attacks by The Decade ever since. It cuts to a graphic for Michael Elgin vs Roderick Strong for the ROH World Championship. Tag Team MatchForever Hooligans (Alex Kozlov & Rocky Romero) vs The Deacade (BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs) Alex Kozlov and Romero make their return to ROH in a match against two ROH veterans, Whitmer and Jacobs. We start off with BJ Whitmer and Rocky Romero in a tie up. Romero spins down to the ground and kicks back up to his feet, he pulls underneath and arm drags Whitmer to the side. Romero follows up with a front dropkick and then gets Whitmer into the turnbuckle! He quickly tags in Kozlov and holds onto his partner's arm. He whips Kozlov into the turnbuckle that Whitmer is in and Kozlov hits a wicked dropkick! Forever Hooligans are all fired up. Kozlov gets some elbows on Whitmer and then backs off of him to get the crowd amped! Kozlov charges right back at BJ Whitmer and gets met with a boot. Whitmer punches away on Kozlov and quickly grips him to his pit with a snap suplex! Whitmer then drags Kozlov to his corner where he tags in Jimmy Jacobs. They both stomp down on Alex Kozlov then yank him under both of their arms. They fall back and drop him with a Double DDT. Jacobs crawls onto Kozlov for the pin, but he kicks out. Jacobs yanks out up on Kozlov and swings him back around with a nice neckbreaker. Jacobs with another pinfall, but a kickout again. Jacobs yanks Kozlov up, but Kozlov leaps and catches him with a kick to the head! Kozlov crawls away and gets the hot tag to Rocky Romero. Romero comes in hot, ducking under Jacobs and hitting Whitmer off the apron. He turns back around and hits Jimmy Jacobs with a high knee to the head! He grabs onto Jacobs as he is groggy and underhooks his arm, snaps off the mat and flips it into a powerbomb! He just planted Jimmy Jacobs. One. Two. Whitmer dives in and breaks up the pin! Kozlov charges in too, but Whitmer sends him right to the outside. Whitmer spins Rocky Romero to him and lifts him into the air backwards, Jimmy Jacobs pulls to his feet as Whitmer picks Romero up. He runs at him on Whitmer's shoulders and swings him down to the mat. All Seeing Eye! What a double team move. Jacobs hooks the leg up of Rocky Romero for the three count. Winners of the match: The DecadeBJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs celebrate their victory as the fans boo. Roderick Strong walks down to the ring and gets on the mic. He says that Whitmer and Jacobs just set an example for Adam Page and TaDarius Thomas, and for any other young ROH Superstars who want to see the light and join The Decade. Strong says that he will set the biggest example of all when he breaks the Unbreakable one. He says The Decade broke Michael Elgin already at Reclamation last week and that's why he's not here tonight. Strong questions Michael Elgin as a fighting champion asking why he isn't here tonight, but then goes on to say he hopes he is healthy for their match. Strong says he wants to become a Two Time ROH World Champion and he will break the supposed Unbreakable to do it. The theme song of The Decade plays as they leave up the ramp. We come back to the ring where Bobby Fish has a set up in the ring with two chairs, one he is sitting in. Fish holds onto a mic and begins talking about his win in the Four Corners, he says tonight on this live edition of The Fish Tank, he welcomes another Television Champion contender ACH for a few questions. The theme song of ACH cuts in and the "ACH" chants are in heavy effect as he walks down the ramp in street clothes. ACH gets into the ring and sets down as Bobby Fish begins talking once more. Fish gets on the mic and congratulates ACH on all of his recent success, but says he has some questions. Fish asks ACH what makes him think he can beat Jay Lethal. ACH sits to himself for a bit, before responding by asking Bobby Fish the same exact question. Bobby Fish says that he is one of the best damn wrestlers going, and some time in the near future there will be two Championships in his posession. ACH tells Bobby Fish that's all fine and dandy, but he'll have to get through him to get ahold of the TV Championship. ACH says that he has sat back and waited long enough and that it is finally his time. ACH challenges Bobby Fish to a match tonight, but Bobby Fish begins to beat around the bush and coughs into the mic which signals Kyle O'Reilly to slide in the ring. The beatdown begins! reDRagon stomp away at ACH on the ground and move the chairs out of the way. They lift him up and go for Chasing the Dragon, but Christopher Daniels and Kazarian charge down the ramp and into the ring! They begin brawling with Fish and O'Reilly back and fourth as ACH slides his way out of the ring. ACH walks backwards up the ramp seeming to get away from all the action, when Jay Lethal comes from behind and hits him with the TV Championship! Jay Lethal just layed out ACH on the ramp in the midst of the brawling. Lethal poses with the TV Title in the ring as reDRagon and Bad Influence brawl inside of the ring. Singles MatchMatt Hardy vs Mark Briscoe Matt Hardy came down to the ring a bit scared for this one, as he requested that Jay Briscoe be banned from ringside for this match. Mark and Matt go to shake hands at the center, but Mark backs up laughing to himself. We go to a tie up and Mark Briscoe backs Matt into the corner. He chops him up a bit and runs back, but Hardy gets to the outside. Matt Hardy walks around on the outside of the ring trying to stay away when Mark Briscoe dives feet first throught he ropes with a dropkick that levels Matt! Hardy spills out to the cade when Mark Briscoe gets right out of the ring and goes at him. Mark Briscoe begins clubbing on Matt Hardy's back and keeps beating him down around the ring, slamming him into the barricade as well. Mark Briscoe keeps the beatdown going around the outside, until Matt Hardy quickly spins around to a steel chair, yanks it up and cracks Mark Briscoe in the skull with it! DING DING DING Winner of the match via Disqualification: Mark BriscoeMatt Hardy just leveled Mark with the chair and now he continues beating on him with it. He smacks it off his spine again and again for a few swings. Hardy then sets the chair up with a devious smirk. He pulls Mark Briscoe up to his arm pit and taunts to the side, but Jay Briscoe runs down the ramp for the save. Matt Hardy runs to the side, grips onto his Iconic Championship and exits through the crowd. Jay Briscoe checks on his brother as Matt Hardy sneaks away after the damage he caused. A video plays recapping the final Ring of Honor match of "Mr Wrestling" Kevin Steen against Silas Young. It shows still images of the big moments and then plays an audio clip of Steen's goodbye. We then get an image saying next week Silas Young will speak about that match with Steen and what it meant to him to get the win. The cameras are backstage in the locker room where we see Michael Bennett with Maria. They seem to be talking about what Adam Cole has caused them the past few matches when Cole himself walks in. Cole says that he requested a tag team match tonight, he wants to put it all in the past and he wants Michael Bennett to avenge that loss against Ricochet. Cole says he knows how lethal they can be when they are all on the same page. Bennett agrees and says he hopes Adam Cole's head is in the right place tonight, because if not it could be bad. Adam Cole tells Bennett not to worry and that he's got this, as long as they can get along. He looks at Maria, the women who slapped him at Reclamation and just walks away before saying anything else. Tag Team MatchAdam Cole & Michael Bennett w/Maria vs The Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet & Rich Swann) We start off with Adam Cole and Ricochet in the ring with a good back and fourth exchanging arm drags. Adam Cole ends up locking in an armbar after one of them and keeps Ricochet down. He wrenches on the arm for a bit before letting go and pulling Ricochet back up. Cole isolates Ricochet into a corner and continues stomping on him. He then yanks Ricochet to sit on the turnbuckle and climbs up with him. Cole underhooks Ricochet into the air and lifts him high backwards with a superplex to the center! What a crash! Ricochet and Cole are both laid out from that one. Ricochet begins crawling his way to his corner as Adam Cole grabs his leg and drags him back. Cole continues on the attack and stomps on Ricochet before tagging out to Michael Bennett. Bennett comes in with full speed and stomps down on Ricochet as well. He quickly pulls Ricochet back up and flips him over with a snapmare. Bennett follows up with a diving lariat to the back of the head of Ricochet. Pinfall, but Ricochet gets the shoulder up. Michael Bennett pins again right after, but Ricochet gets up quicker this time. Michael Bennett puts Ricochet in a side headlock and grounds him to the mat, but the crowd begins to get behind Ricochet. They clap for Ricochet and he fights to his feet by elbowing Bennett. He comes off the ropes and comes back at Bennett with a clothesline, then a dropkick. Ricochet finally dives to his corner and tags in the debuting Rich Swann! Swann springs over the ropes and into the ring as he charges right to Bennett and under him! He hits Cole off the apron, then springboards off the middle rope back to Bennett with a spin kick! Woah! Rich Swann kicks up to his feet and follows up with some boots to the chest on Bennett. He sits Bennett on the top turnbuckle and leaps up to him as he spreads his legs around the neck of Bennett, he flips back and nails a Leaping Hurricarana off the top turnbuckle! Bennett arches his spine up after in pain. Bennett begins screaming at Adam Cole from across the ring "HELP" "COME ON!". Adam Cole hits the ring and begins the attack on Rich Swann. He throws Swann out of the ring. Bennett then gets up in the face of Cole and asks why the hell he isn't helping. Bennett continues to scream in Cole's face when Ricochet comes up from behind and dropkicks them into each other! Both Cole and Bennett get sent out of the ring. Rich Swann slides back in and looks at Ricochet, both members of the Inner City Machine Guns run to the ropes and come back at Cole and Bennett with a flipping dive over the ropes! ROH Chants everywhere! Rich Swann gets up and brings Bennett into the ring, but Bennett ends up buying himself enough time to eye rake Swann. Bennett hits a suplex, then a back suplex. He pins Swann, but Swann kicks out. Bennett drags the downed body of Swann into the ring and tags Adam Cole in by slapping his chest with anger. Cole looks down at his chest then at Bennett and gets in the ring. Cole comes right at with a Superkick to Swann! Then a forearm to Ricochet off the apron, seems Cole is angry from the interaction with Bennett. Cole hits a boot to the knee of Swann, then his other knee, Swann falls down to his knees and then gets kicked right in the jaw. Cole lifts Swann up for the Florida Keys, but Bennett reaches over and tags himself in as Cole does so... Cole looks around and confusion, but is forced to let go of Swann. Bennett grips onto Swann and puts his head between his legs for the Piledriver, but Swann rolls through and drops Bennett on his shoulders! ONE! TWO! THREE! Winners of the match: The Inner City Machine GunsRich Swann and Ricochet go to ringside and celebrate their win near the ROH fans. They lean back to the crowd with their hands in the air, Cole and Bennett stay in the ring arguing. As Cole is trying to talk it out calmly, Maria slides in the ring behind him. She climbs to her knees and swings her hand between Cole's legs with a LOW BLOW! Michael Bennett grabs onto Adam Cole's head and drags it between his legs. He lifts Cole upside down in the air and spikes him on his head with the Piledriver. Michael Bennett just planted Adam Cole! Michael Bennett and Maria stand over the down body of Adam Cole as ROH goes off the air ROH WRESTLING 2014 ©

Whoever made that poster for Death Before Dishoner is awesome. Oh wait, that was me. A solid opening promo between Cedric Alexander and Tommaso Ciampa, with the stage being set for match two in their best of seven series. Ciampa tying the series up is good and I hope to see it go seven series because who doesn't love a best of seven going the distance? The Decade defeating Forever Hooligans was the best choice here with them being a much better team... Please, Roderick, you won't break Ryan Braxton Michael Elgin! Holy chaos, Batman! The Fish Tank just got filled with pihrannas with all of the chaos coming like crazy with so many wrestlers getting involved. Like how it has set so many stages, though. Matt Hardy losing to Mark Briscoe via disqualification was fine, that or him winning flat out were the two choices I think you really had here with Matt feuding with Mark's brother. Jay making the save and not getting his hands on Hardy will help lead this feud further. Tension coming between Cole and Bennett - will they explode here tonight!? The main event goes that way with Cole and Bennett going wrong with each other and giving The Inner City Machine Guns the win. Maria low blows Cole! Maria low blows Cole! Maria low blows Cole! I know she has done a lot of things below the belt, but that ain't one we want to see! Bennett is done with that sack of crap. A good edition of ROH, my friend.
