Austin would have probably won the World Heavyweight Title from Triple H in '04, put over Cena at probably Wrstlemania 24. Challenged the streak at a WrestleMania at some point. Austin would have definitely fsced Punk in his SES days, and maybe again after his pipebomb. I also think that Austin would of had one last match with The Rock, around the time he came back to face Cena at WrestleMania 28. Oh and before I forget, Austin would have probably faced Hogan in '05, after Hogan had faced HBK.

So many great possibilities. He could have helped ecw I guess but also he could have had so many great feuds with some guys. Punk, cena, edge, hhh, taker, maybe even one last rock vs Austin.

Great ideas in this thread. I think the main things would have been - We would have actually seen the biggest match ever: Hulk Hogan vs Steve Austin.
- Austin challenges the streak, citing how many times he beat Taker in the Attitude Era. Of course he loses.
- A great feud with straight-edge CM Punk. That would've been such a classic. I see Austin coming out on top but Punk would've gained credibility from it.
- Eventually having to put over John Cena in a big match setting. I see Austin being stubborn, but he would've done it eventually because Cena has the goods to be a top guy (as much as we hate him for predictability).
Oh man the things you could do with a wrestlingdelorean. The cause of Austin's early retirement can be traced to one night...
