Isn't this borderline a Text Fed? Awesome none the less! How do you mean, if you don't mind me asking? I don't think it's structured any differently from ICW, WCWA or any of the other feds on the board.

I don't know. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong, or even in the wrong section.

If I may intrude. They are exactly the same. The I post my shows in both the Text fed board and this one, because it's two different communities. Plus most people use figures for text Feds (I don't ) I don't know what you were meaning @punk but I think you clarified. Do you write shows too?

Woo Ring of Poison! I’ve really, really missed ROP, Mikey! Glad to see you back and I’m glad to see The Lethal Lottery is up and waiting for my review!
Prince Devitt & Joey Ryan vs. Jon Moxley & Ricochet I couldn’t think of a better way for Prince Devitt to make his ROP debut than debuting at Lethal Lottery. Ryan and Devitt really is a fascinating team, as is Moxley and Ricochet. I really thought this was a strong opening contest and a great kick off to the Lethal Lottery. This match had a strong beginning with the exchange between Devitt & Ricochet and a super strong finish and, subsequently, a strong aftermath. Moxley freaking out on Ricochet was so cool and so typical of Moxley. Love it.
Nice promo from Christopher Daniels, who is representing The Prophecy (and the ROH World Tag Team Champions). I look forward to see who their eventual opponents will be.
Tommy End & Chris Hero vs. Jimmy Jacobs & Mikey Whiplash Three out of four WCWA mainstays are here in Ring of Poison and I’m loving every minute of it. Anyways, this was a really fun match between four individuals who have a bit of contrasting styles. You brought that out very well during the duration of the match. The aftermath was pretty awesome with Hallowicked making his (unmasked) return to ROP. I love the team of Delirious and Hallowicked and I’ve been enjoying the crap out of the Jimmy Jacobs-masked wrestlers storyline. Something tells me that’s about to get a lot more interesting!
Green Ant & Chuck Taylor vs. Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli. This is what ROP’s Lethal Lottery is all about. Chuck Taylor loathes The Colony and has to team with Green Ant while McGuinness and Castagnoli are quite the rivals. I can’t wait for their Intercontinental Championship match! I knew this was going to be good when I saw the teams and it certainly was, Mikey. There was tons of tension between McGuinness and Castagnoli and I fully expected them to lose this match…but I like that you didn’t book it that way. As Gram pointed out, they’re both motivated by adding more gold to their resumes so it was a realistic endeavor for the both of them to co-exist. I loved that they both applied submissions for the finish and that they didn’t attack each other after the match. Very refreshing.
Loved the Back to the Future segment with The HooliganZ.
Noam Dar & Kevin Steen vs. Kenny Omega & Bryan Danielson I have to be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Noam Dar so I’m really looking forward to seeing what he’s got. Kevin Steen is such a son of a bitch, man. Disrespecting his partner, a newbie at that, is so low. I love it! Dar had a really impressive debut but had zero help from Steen. Love how monstrous of heel you’re creating in Steen. I loved that The Unheard were about to absolutely decimate Dar…until Eddie Kingston made the save! Love it.
Interesting segment with The Polo Lounge featuring, of course, Johnny Polo and Mike Quackenbush. This was a decent segment although it was a little flat. The feud brewing between Polo and Quackenbush certainly has my attention, though.
Decent Samoa Joe promo.
ROP Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: Cloudy vs. Jigsaw (c) Decent match that was interrupted by the interference of Jimmy Jacobs. I love this feud and I’m fascinating by the agenda Jacobs is so strongly sticking to. The match he booked for the next event sounds VERY promising. I wonder who his mystery partner will be?
Loved the Corino “interview” lol.
Joey Ryan & ‘Prince’ Fergal Devitt vs. Chris Hero & Tommy End This was a really, really, really good match with a bit of a surprise ending! I totally expected the duo of Hero and End to advance in the tournament but I’m pleasantly surprised it’ll be Devitt and Ryan. What a huge debut for Devitt. He gets to pin – and eliminate – a huge ROP fan favorite in Chris Hero?!? Very special debut indeed. Hero and End refusing to shake the hands of Devitt and End was pretty damn interesting. I wonder where this is heading?
Bryan Danielson & Kenny Omega vs. Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli. GREAT match with a really interesting finish. Claudio essentially cost himself a shot at the ROP Tag Team straps by tagging himself in. This odd-couple duo seemed to be meshing well in the match but Claudio made sure that wasn’t the case. I LOVED that you waited until the end of THIS match to have these two brawl. That’s smart booking, my friend. Danielson and Omega advance and, I have to say, the finals look a lot different than I initially imagined. I cannot wait to see who wins this Lethal Lottery.
Great promo from Eddie Kingston.
Brodie Lee vs. Samoa Joe I was REALLY excited for this match and you did not disappoint! What a GREAT match, Mikey! I can tell you worked really hard on it! Samoa Joe goes 6 strong months of being the ROP Champion and this sort of match shows you why. Brodie Lee, despite losing, really showed that he’s a top contender in ROP. Great booking by making him strong despite him suffering a loss. Love the handshake shared between both men after the match.
The card for ROP: Major Leagues sounds AWESOME.
Main Event: Prince Devitt & Joey Ryan vs. Bryan Danielson & Kenny Omega REALLY entertaining match and what a way to end the Lethal Lottery! I have to say, Mikey, I totally didn’t expect Devitt and Ryan to win the tournament! Totally thought it was going to Danielson and Omega. What a surprising way to end the tournament and the show!
I enjoyed this show immensely, Mikey. I have no qualms with your booking, I think that’s rock solid. My only suggestion would be to break up the paragraphs of your matches with more commentary. You have a very fast-paced, action pack show and you could display that better by breaking up the paragraphs with more commentary. It’s easier on the eyes and just easier to read.
