sometimes i dont like that i go to friends houses to watch PPVs because i cant get on the threads here. (i hate using my phone to type posts) anyway, WWE really shouldn't be just settling when they are trying to sell a network. i know its like "well you're only paying $9.99" but if the quality is mediocre.... if i paid $50 for this show, wow. Usos/Wyatts was fine, but I feel like it was mostly the same match we've seen from them about 15 times now. Dives, kicks, Big Boots...and Usos win. I kinda hoped Wyatts would finally take the belts, like what the hell are they waiting for? At this point if I'm a fan, why do I even care about the Wyatts? they just LOSE all the time. pissed off that Ambrose/Rollins didn't happen. that crap. save that for RAW not something I'm supposed to be "paying" for. Rusev sucks. The whole thing is stupid....and like Ive been saying, this Swagger face turn is just to get Rusev "over" as a heel. That match again was garbage being carried by Swagger because Swagger is actually VERY good in the ring. Way to go, WWE. Their soooooooo EDGY by showing a picture of Putin on the big screen! nevermind 300 people just died, we need HEEL HEAT. And then in the end Rusev looks strong anyway....so really what's the point? It's Battle Royal was fine. lol at Ryder & Woods being thrown out almost immediately. Just release them already. Such a WASTE. I knew Miz was gonna take it, as long as it gets Dolph away from stupid crap and gets him in a feud for the IC title I'm happy. Damien Sandow's attire legit made me laugh. MATTEL GET ON THAT Jericho/Wyatt was fine. Nothing special, I was legit shocked Jericho won...but it's all good. The idea of a FEUD isn't "one guy wins all the time" which I truly believe these things called writers who work for this company actually think it is. We will see where this goes from here. But its safe to say at this point the Wyatts are now just typical WWE heels...they come out and say mean things, then get beat up by the good guys to send the crowd home happy. Main Event was what it was. No surprises besides Orton's awesome blue truns. Fine match but nothing we're gonna talk about for years. Reigns continues to unimpress....I think he did punch punch boston crab and then a bunch of spears and kicks. Dude might want to expand his moveset a little, maybe play some Smackdown Here Comes The Pain to get a few ideas. I truly don't understand why these live crowds are just eating him up. Overall this show was terribly predictable, actually the entire company is terribly predictable lately which is the single biggest problem. It wasn't a horrible show match-wise, but I don't forsee Battleground 2014 going into the books as a memorable event. Sadly, with the way the product is, they should really be TRYING to make things memorable because in another month or so, they are gonna lose a TON of money. I completely agree with everything you've posted - if I were one of these fools who hasn't subscribed to The Network yet - this PPV would only make me think I made the right decision - because they're clearly saving all the good stuff for FREE TV. If they want to get people to subscribe (and stay subscribed) - you've got to give us some big surprises and newsworthy stuff on the PPV's..... stuff people will talk about. What the heck happened on this PPV that people will be talking about on Monday? Not a whole heck of a lot.

Just finished watching the event. Not a bad show at all, but the weakest of the year in my mind. Usos/Wyatts, Paige/AJ and Jericho/Bray were all great, main event was a bit better than I expected, and while I am upset that we didn't get a legitimate match between Rollins and Ambrose, the progression of the rivalry throughout the night was cool. And The Miz. But... Money in the Bank was horrendous.

Apart from the botches, this was a damn good PPV. I can't say I actually watched the PPV.. I was switching between it and a football forum. From what I did see, it was poor booking with decent matches. The norm these days I suppose. WWE is slowly becoming tedious. Doesn't watch PPV, still complains about it...

I was at this show LIVE! I think it was a good PPV. the best match IMO was Uso's vs Wyatts. the other thing I didn't care for is that I didn't get to see Rollins vs Ambrose

I'm usually not one to complain but I was so disinterested in this show. I watched all of it but nothing stood out to me at all. There were a few spots here and there that I thought were cool but none of the matches as a whole sucked me in at all. My buddy I was watching with felt the same way. Also, nothing happened from a storyline standpoint that makes me go "Oh man, I can't wait to see Raw." Worst PPV this year IMO.

I honestly haven't been this disappointed by a pay-per-view since the Royal Rumble. Everything about tonight screamed "WE'RE WAITING FOR SUMMERSLAM" except for the Tag Title Match and the Fatal Four Way, both which I enjoyed very much. However, with Wyatt/Jericho, Rusev/Swagger, and AJ/Paige, the matches I was looking forward to the most, it's pretty obvious they're all going to have rematches at SummerSlam, so they didn't want to go all out for the show tonight. Paige vs. AJ was actually alright, but the botched sunset flip threw it off a bit there. Wyatt and Jericho was good as well, but I think they can do better in all honesty. I was expecting another Bryan/Wyatt like match. I kind of expected the whole Ambrose/Rollins deal so I'm not angry about that, their segments were again some of the brightest spots on the card. I just really hope SummerSlam is amazing this year, because this show could have been so much.
The Network worked fine for me, but it had some REALLY poorly timed skips. I missed the first two falls in the Usos/Wyatts match, and this happened to me during the Battle Royal.
*Dolph Ziggler eliminates Sheamus, everyone goes wild.* SKIP "YOUR WINNER AND NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION... THE MIZ!"

I really liked Jericho vs. Wyatt even though a lot of people didn't.
I thought it was a great match except for a couple minor blown spots. I can't wait to see more from them.

I liked it, but like with a lot on this card, I can't help but feel they could do more and were holding back a bit for SummerSlam. Maybe I'm just crazy.

This is why WWE needs to drop these "filler" PPVs because they don't come across as special at all. It's like they throw together matches for PPV just because they have to and then hold back on the good stuff for bigger shows. Just get rid of these useless PPVs.

The main event was actually a fun match. Jericho/Wyatt was too slow for me tbh. Usos/Wyatts stole the show. An OK PPV.
Bring on SummerSlam.

I can't believe anyone found this to be a good show. The way you found this show to be anything other than ATROCIOUS. Is that you are a WWE zombie sheep Or the possible chance that others have a different opinion to yours and liked the show, who'da thunk it?

Great PPV. I was entertained throughout the whole night and something happened that I never thought was possible. Dean Ambrose is actually entertaining (after all those years of hype).

This was more of a "SummerSlam Pre-Show" than Battleground Pay-Per-View. Read about it on my blog. Yea, I used a cheap plug.

Just finished the PPV. Not bad but underwhelming. crapty booking and crapty crowd made it worse then it should have been. Main event shouldn't have ended clean, Miz shouldn't have won the battle royal nobody cares about the Miz anymore, Wyatt's shouldn't have lost both matches clean and AJ/Paige should have had more time.
Rollins/Ambrose was once again the best overall feud/part of the show. They're doing that absolutely right but everything else had a questionable decision.
