I am turning 16 in December. Ive been collecting since i started watching wrestling, around 2 years old. I always had my parents buy for me off ringside. But now i am old enough to collect on my own. I make alot of money selling limited sneakers from Nike. Thats how i buy my figures. I tear all out of the package, then play with them right away. I dont tell people except family about my hobby, because high school is a rough place, especially because i am in "the popular" group. Thats my story! Thanks for reading. That's how I feel I'm the same exact age and I only tell my family about it.

I'm 24 and I'm collecting since 2011. It all got started when my friend told me about the CAW feature of the SVR games and I went out and bought SVR 2010 and I wanted to make a CAW of Lady Gaga, then I was in Kmart on my lunch break when they had the cube and saw B8 Maryse, I bought her intending on making a Lady Gaga custom figure and that never happened. I have been hooked ever since

I'm 29. Been collecting wrestling figures on and off since Hasbro's in 93. Sold off my collection of about 40 Hasbro figures for $50 a few years later because I wanted to buy a Sega Saturn of all things (hands down the biggest regret of my life). In the late 90's I started collecting again in the form of Jakks bone crunchers, but stopped when they switched over to TTL style figures. Didn't buy anymore wrestling figures until Classic Superstars came out in 04. Wasn't impressed with Mattel in the beginning, but I changed my tune after a few months, and now I'm hooked on em...

Then a couple summers ago before 8th grade, I got into animating wrestling figures(check my sig,#cheapplug) and with that came more and more collecting. Now I'm in High School so I'm getting odd jobs here and there during the summer which help to buy more figs, but I am just horrid at saving cash lol. Anyways, yeah. No chance of me slowing down soon.

I'm 41, and been collecting since the 80's. had the original LJN WWF figures as a kid,and even some of the Remco AWA stuff. the naround 1987 I got "too old" for toys anymore. but in 1990 I was 16,and the Hasbro WWF figures came out,and I was done for!! then right after the Galoob WCW ones hot as well, and were relatively the same size, so I had dream matches of Flair vs Hogan, Sting vs Warrior, Doom vs Demolition, Luger vs beefcake, etc. all the time. around 1992 I stopped again, because I was 18,and,again,I was too old to buy toys anymore. not to mention how scarce the WWF line started to become around here for some reason. never, ever saw guys like Hart,Taker,Tito,Bulldog,Skinner,Savage V.3,Perfect,etc. around here,so my interest kinda died out... so I was done with them for about 4 years. then I walked into a K-B Toys here one day in Spring 1996 ans sitting on the pegs was one lonely Jakks Series 1 BCA Diesel figure! didn't even know more stuff was coming out,and I loved Diesel,so I grabbed it. then about 2 months later I went to a house show in Scranton,PA. and theywere selling the figures there as well,so I picked up a Jakks BCA Series 1 Hitman as well, and after that I was off to the races again! I collected a ton of Jakks stuff up until about 2005,when my interest with the modern WWE product was waning. but then the Classic Superstars line started, and I was hooked on them. I didn't plan on doing much with Mattel, and even tried to quit twice. but they're so frigging great,I found myself pulled back in again, even though I said I was done after Jakks! Your story sounds like someone with a bad addiction/habit that can't quit haha.

I'm 28 and I always loved wrestling. I had hundreds of figures when I was a kid but they got played with on a daily basis. I didn't start really collecting until the Jakks Unmatched Fury line. Then I sarted collecting just Edge figures I think I have close to 150 different Edges. But when Mattel started producing all the awesome figures I started collecting a bunch more plus I went and started buying all my favorites I had as a kid from ebay. Now I have like over 800 figures all MOC in my collection. Wow 800?! Do you have pictures of those displayed or are they just in storage? To me I don't see the point of collecting unless you can display them all. I live by myself and I'm single so I can display them but not sure what will happen during marriage...haha

I'm 27. I had a boat load of BCA figures when I was a kid but stopped once I hit like 6th or 7th grade. I never got back into collecting until about 2 years ago or so. I am fortunate enough to have a job that pays me really well so I can afford what has essentially become an addiction. i was looking for a toy for a kids birthday party in target one day and I saw the mattel lines bought one figure and was hooked. I spent the next week going to every store in the area looking for figures both basic and elite. now I'm settled into just elites unless someone will never get an elite (dreamer, hurricane, etc) and I usually only keep one of characters I'm not a big fan but for guys like Foley, Shawn and Bret I get their different attires. Thats kind of became my rule I want to keep as well, only having one guy of each, to an extent that is. Like I don't see the point of buying the new Dean Ambrose thats going to come out, when he's basically the same outfit/character/gimmick. I will wait until a gimmick or character change before I want 2 of the same person. But I am like you, for guys like Macho Man or Kevin Nash I will buy the multiples. Basics to me are a waste of money because they come out with way too many and they all look the same, I am not a huge Cena fan but I decided I need to have at least one, so I got his navy blue shirt elite on ebay for like $16 shipped or something, won't buy any more Cenas unless he goes heel or his gimmick changes, cause he's been the same for YEARS.

I'm 20. I began collecting when I was 5 when my cousins gave me all their Hasbro figures to make way for Jakks figures. Then I collected Jakks until I was 13-14, and fell out of love with wrestling. I began watching again in 2010, and 6 months ago I caught a basic 33 Dean Ambrose out of the corner of my eye in work and decided to buy it for old times sake.Since then, I've collected about 40 figures, my most recent being Elite 8 Regal.
