Maybe it's just me but why exactly is this Hogan in the Decining Moments collection. I thought that was reserved for really detailed figs or with multiple cloth accesories
Don't get me wrong this Hogan is awesome but it has a plastic tank top, necklace, some sort of bandana and a belt. No real detail on the outfit
Sounds like a normal Elite to me
I can see that Rocky figure with a belt, Sting with all his stuff and Razor with more detail and guess ladder and IC belt(s), NWO Hogan, 2002 Hogan with all there stuff
Anyway impressed with everything from the Comic Con can't wait to see them hitting the shelves

Sounds about right to me. Yeah cloth would've been nice but seriously. That's the only possible gripe with this Masterpiece of a figure.

Ya the shirt being rippable, a brand new title, cross and bandana is fair to me. Razor is going to need to have his chains, maybe 2 ic titles, or ladder, combo of those. Maybe a toothpick too lol. Sting with WCW belt, coat and bat. They really want to go all out for these wrestlers 1st releases so I'm fine with it being this way.

I think it was thrown out before then or at least debatable. Steamboat in his WWF Dragon gear definitely wasn't his defining moment. I don't know where that Taker figure comes from, but I can think of several career moments that isn't depicted with that figure. Bret Hart's wasn't, Warrior, Macho, nor Austin. It was a great line and we got great attire/accessories with them such as Warrior and Macho even though their defining moment I would say is WMIV and VI respectfully. The Hogan does depict his DM though. |

If this is a DM, why should we expect FBs of Hollywood with the shirt, weight belt, bandanna, title, and sunglasses...or Hollywood Hulk Hogan with the Undisputed title, shirt, bandanna, sunglasses, weight belt, knee braces, and boas (plus the increased paint detail on both). I have to say, this first Hogan should be a Flashback. The other two I just mentioned could easily be DMs, especially considering the increased detail.
No logical reason for this to be a DM other than wanting more money...and like I said, it will work. I'm damn sure buying it the second I see it. I may even...GASP...preorder it, which I NEVER do.

FOR THE LAST TIME , a superstar has many defining moments in his career... anyone who says WrestleMania 7 wasn't a defining moment in the career of both Macho Man and Warrior is either too young to truly recall the events leading up to the story, or inept when dealing with professional wrestling as a business.. dont forget that Elizabeth / Randy emotions that exploded at WM7 in 1991 began on WWF TV in 1985.... i dare todays industry to give us a story with characters that evolves slowly..like JR always says ..its the slow burn that earns the interest and $$$... did fandango and summer have to break up that soon... you might respond they both are not important, but they would be if they just slowly kept on building...
anyway that HULK figure is AWESOME.. i would have prefered a 89-90 look with bandana and HULK RULES or Python Power Shirt.. BUT the body mold is soo perfect for HIM and the face scan is crazy good... the chain looks perfect and that headband does remind me of HULK HOGAN walkin down the aisle in 87 with rent-a-cops crowding him and every fans hand stretched out toward him!!
this will look great posed face off with ANDRE or i might take shirt and headband & chain off , place the winged eagle on him and pose him face to face with WM6 Warrior...
my other sdcc thoughts commments rants:
really looking forward to that BASIC ANDRE THE GIANT that comes with SHOW, u heard mattel mention he has new face with the side burns, so it should look better maybe a navy singlet maybe black, dont care... as long as his face scan is better than previous figure and i think his body would look better in basic form..
WOW da Bad Guy... oooozing Machismo, " hey something happens to this Gold chico, something gunna happen to you!".. RAZOR RAMON.. awesome gear choice... NEEDS intercontinental belt, maybe ladder, DEF BELT and with vest gold chains good detail like correct elbow pads and body hair he will be a MUST BUY for my LEGENDS to pose... he would look great if i could find something in arts & crafts store to replicate that gold firework/sparkler behind him goin up in air & fallin down...!!!

i didnt understand the talk of wm3 based DM HULK being associated with ROyal Rumble, Razor w/ WM, Sting w/ summerslam..
can some1 explain the connection to the ppvs or do they plan on launching EACH DM the day of that PPV ( SPECIAL EVENT!)

Hogan as a DM is ok but it means Hollywood Hogan might be either a RSC exclusive or a regular elite lacking some required accessories
