And this couldn't have been said on the RAW thread? Anyways, it's sad that he's a job guy right now, but honestly I'd rather see him jobbing every week than not be on TV at all. I think no TV time is a bigger burial than jobbing on TV imo. I wouldn't, he's too good for this. I wish WCW was still around to take down WWE, or at least make them push talented people and not Cena/Orton/Kane in 2014. His downfall started as soon as he won MitB and failed to win the belt. IMO he should of had a short reign as WHC and still have Cena beat him (probably at Survivor Series) leading into TLC and the unification match with Boreton. That would actually be fine, though people would still have complained about Sandow getting such a short title reign Well, he'd have a world title, and no one could ever take that away from him so I wouldn't complain. Plus he probably wouldn't be a comedy act if had played out like that.

Everyone goes thru the jobber stage he'll bounce back from this. Tell that to Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal.

We're having the funeral for Bo Dallas' unBOfeated streak instead.

I feel sorry for the guy, he is an underused talent.

I'll be honest, I'm actually starting to enjoy the Damien Sandow comedy segments. Sure I believe he should be getting at least an Intercontinental/United States Championship push, but he seems to be having fun, so I like it. I think they're entertaining. I mean, I like that he's on TV and I'm sure gonna enjoy when Damien does not have to be a comedy character, but for now, I'd rather enjoy Sandow on TV than not have him on TV at all. I've said last night that he seems to be enjoying himself and having fun entertaining people with this comedy gimmick, so it's fine to me. I'm sure he'll be pushed to the level I expect him to be at real soon. Like someone said on here, everyone goes through the jobber route. Some people like Mahal, McIntyre, Slater stay in that role and others like Miz, Ziggler, Sheamus grows out of that role and if Sandow is as talented as people say he is and as I believe he is, he'll be pushed to the mid card again.

I know what your answer is gonna be, "NO, I'd rather have Sandow be in the main event right now". Well, the only two choices right now is to have Sandow job with this comedy gimmick or have him off TV backstage, so I don't think Sandow is complaining right now about having to job on TV every week cause at least he's getting TV time. I get it, I also rather have Sandow get a push, not a huge push, but at least at the Intercontinental/United States Title level, but I'd rather see him on TV jobbing than off TV. Like I said, that's a bigger burial in my book.

Adam Rose would actually be better as a Heel in my opinion, even with the same gimmick. He gets hardly a reaction at all, and if anything fans start to boo as they are tired of his dragged out entrance and shenanigans. Having him party around after he's just weaseled his way to winning a Match would be infuriating. Sandow would probably be better as a face.

Unfortunately this has been on the cards for Sandow since his RR performance. That showed that he had fell off the cliff in WWEs estimations/ranking.
Vince canned 90% of his jobbers a while back.....somebody had to take those positions. Sandow is now down there for good. The damage is now irreparable IMHO.
He is at least still featured on TV though.

Winning that briefcase was the worst thing to happen to him.
After that, he started losing all the time.

he's filling the void Santino left, at least he's getting used unlike a lot of other wrestlers.

Ye as others have said he is basically Santino's replacement with Charlie Hass' gimmick. I think it is great.

That crowd exploded for him on that cash in, they wanted him to beat Cena. Even though he looked strong there, he never got to again. Huge wasted opportunity. Even doing this comedy nonsense he is brilliant, and I hope he gets another push eventually.

So sad...from something as different as holding the microphone differently when he debuted and had the 'intellectual' gimmick...to this...a shame, really.

People need to refrain from using the term "buried" until they actually know when and how to use it.

i give him credit....he is making this entertaining.
Sandow is another guy who would have benefitted greatly from being in a different era. He's got the mic skills, probably top 5 in the company right now. His wrestling is and always has been passable at best. I've never seen him be amazing, but he's good enough (not sloppy) and can hold his own.
But sadly, in the current WWE all that matters to them is having a heel come out and say "mean things" then get beat up, because thats what the fans want to see.

At the point he is now, he'll never be anything more than the Brooklyn Brawler. Winning that briefcase was the worst thing to happen to him. After that, he started losing all the time. No, everyone that won the SmackDown case would lose until they won, losing his cash in to an injured Cena is what ruined his credibility. People need to refrain from using the term "buried" until they actually know when and how to use it. What the hell would you call this? No one in WWE history has ever gone from championship contender to playing dress up and jobbing in 20 seconds every week.

Yea, he held the briefcase so technically he was a "contender" but he was never a guy who sniffed the title. He won the briefcase while part of a tag team and had a mid-card feud with Cody Rhodes.

When he reaches JTG levels of not being used. What if Sandow came out in Ny and started to bash Harlem calls them dumb and fake just like the globetrotter's , then he says that they are all thief just like every one that lives in Brooklyn. lights then go off and you here music start " Hey yoyoyo its Cryme Time" Brooklyn Brooklyn .... JTG & SHAD then run to the ring a beat Sandow down. I'd mark out.
