Id kill for a current up to date save. New Japan, NXT, Lucha Underground, etc. if you go to Fire Pro Club, you can get a wwe 2014 save, a 2014 indy wrestlers save, and a 2012 puro pack, you can mix and match guys you import from the save for a pretty up to date fire pro.

Well we never got a Fire Pro game for PS3/360.
Think we will ever get one for PS4/XBONE?

Well we never got a Fire Pro game for PS3/360. Think we will ever get one for PS4/XBONE? Definitely not. Fire Pro Wrestling Returns bombed in Japan, didn't do well here, plus the version released on the Xbox Live Arcade didn't do well and wasn't even actual Fire Pro. Then you have the current landscape of Japanese gaming, where wrestling games don't do all that well nowadays and the most popular platforms are phones. That, added with the fact that Fire Pro Returns only happened because of the outcry with Fire Prowrestling Z which was supposed to be the last one. It'd be great, but at this point we have a higher chance of King Of Colosseum 3. Still not very likely, but eh, the company's still around so it's possible.

I wish some company would make a Firepro-like game for PS4/XB1 if Spike won't do it. It would be nice to have something new that plays just like Returns.

Returns is near perfect. Out of the box, that is. After tinkering with the AI and edit capabilities, it's pretty much perfect. There's no need for another fire pro. On a HD TV, Fire Pro looks great. I mean, part of this might be because I don't have a PS3/XB360 or PS4/XB1 and am playing this on my PS2, but in all honesty, there's no need for another fire pro. Any discussion in this thread is good discussion, so feel free to give me your stance on this if ya want.

Out of any video game I've ever played it's the closest thing to perfect. I would like a new title for two main reasons: 1. A calibrator to get rid of the HD lag. 2. More moves. Since 05 there's been 100's of moves I'd like to see added. But even without those things, I still end up coming back to FPR. I just gotta play on a SDTV if I'm not simming.

I've played on a 60 inch tv about 3 times and don't understand what you're talking about. I'd think "oh, probably because I simmed" but I was actually playing and didn't notice any lag. Then again, that depends on what TV you're using, and heck, it might be a difference between the almost identical PS2 and PS3 versions. 2. Besides a handfull of moves (Like the Codebreaker, actual Attitude Adjustment, Pepsi Plunge, and all of chris hero's cravate moves), I haven't noticed any thing all that missing. There could be more tag moves....but even then the point is moot because Returns is in the eyes of Spike, the end of the series. Besides the Xbox Arcade one, but that wasn't an actual fire pro game.

When I first started playing Returns, it was on a SDTV and I learned the grapple timing on there. But once I converted to HDTVs, I can never actually play matches with those TVs because there is a lag. I've tried the PS2 disc on a Fat PS3, and the PS3 PS2 Classic Digital Download version on a Slim, and it was the same result. I've also tried different HDTVs, Smoothness On/Off, Changing TV settings, hooking the consoles up with the old AV cables etc and there is always a lag. Only thing I have never tried is using a PS2 on the HDTV but I have a feeling it will still have the lag. I wish I could get it to work out because like you said, FPR is beautiful in HD. I love watching sims like that.
