The guy had THREE segments on the last PPV.
He's not going anywhere. Weather this story matters or not. He'll still be a main eventer before long.

And he'll walk just like he did back in 07 when he got fed up with Wrestling. I love Ambrose's interview with Cabana where he talks about that period, getting sick of all the idiots he'd see at indie shows (fans, wrestlers, promoters, even refs) talking about how John Cena sucks and WWE ruins wrestling etc, and he just cut off involvement with those people. Cabana had to tell Ambrose to calm down because years later, thinking about it still got him hot. Awesome podcast. Never saw that but I've seen MOST of his shoot interview and he talks about it. Its ironically what saved his career and made him a star.

And he's probably making high six figures a year now. Do you have any links to those shoots? I'd post a link to the Cabana one, but the tsmradio archive of his podcasts is down.

If WWE didn't care for him he would be getting the Ryder treatment right now.

I tried to watch the matches but I find CZW is a much better product live. It doesn't feel the same on DVD so I struggle to watch them. And the three segments wouldn't normally mean much. But WWE never does angles like that on PPV anymore. They're working hard to build this angle and its not so cookie cutter like the angles are most of the time anymore.

The SMV shoots are always very in depth and good. I've seen: Jon Moxley Drake Younger Sami Callihan Joker Devon Moore Eddie Kingston And others I can't think of right now. All great shoots.

That's freaking stupid of WWE, Ambrose is one of the most over guys right now, he's fun to watch, great wrestler, and has great feud going with Rollins.

I was absolutely histerical when I first saw this. I really need to finish the interview. I only got about half way through it.

I wouldn't read too much into it. I hope WWE doesn't sour on him anytime soon. Instead, they need to revive the Hardcore title and put it on him.

I don't think WWE is sour on him at all.......I just think they are prepping Show for yet another run near the top for a stretch.

You guys are probably right.. but you do also have to consider that maybe it's deliberate to further Ambrose's character. While doubtful, it's POSSIBLE that someone in the back realizes that they have something both special and a bit unique with Dean Ambrose, and maybe they don't WANT him to be the guy out there high fiving fans and celebrating a win with the Big Show. Just a thought. That's exactly what I was going to say. Everyone on here is freaking out as usual "omg god forbid someone gets over", "omg if it's not John Cena then it's no one". How about the fact that this guy is playing a crazy/psychotic character?

I think the real tragedy is that it's 2014 and WWE still believes that Big Show is a "thing".
