I know I'm jumping to conclusions, but Tennessee will be ridiculous in two/three years if Dobbs, Peterman, or some other QB steps up.

I'm sure we'll have zero chance but I'll be rooting for Arkansas State on Saturday since that is my hometown team. Also hoping Ole Miss stomps Vandy.

I know I'm jumping to conclusions, but Tennessee will be ridiculous in two/three years if Dobbs, Peterman, or some other QB steps up. While it would be nice (just so I can stop listening to people whine around here) I dont see it happening. Dobbs nor Peterman are better then Worley and Worley is just a notch above average. Not saying they couldnt or cant recruit someone that wouldnt be a lot better but guys like North, Howard etc will all be gone so you have to *hope* to recruit a stud QB as well as more WRs. When you're competing in a league with teams that have recently had success like Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida and then having to pull teams out of hot bed states like Texas & Georgia (and thus having to recruit against Georgia & Texas A&M) its a very steep uphill battle for UT. At best I think the ceiling for Tennessee is a 10 win season. The theory of "getting back to playing for Nat'l Titles" is a little far fetched (which is what some fans believe is gonna happen) especially when they've only played for 2 in the past 65 years.

HAIL TO PITT. They did well go themselves last year and I hope they can make some noise and maybe get ranked. They have the talent, just a matter of if they can do it. I just realized that Pitt's QB Chad Voytik is from about 45mins south of me in Cleveland, Tn...Got to see him play HS football against my old team a few years ago.

Oregon is a lock for playoffs...Standford is a shell of its powerhouse self the past few years.

If Tennessee didnt....
1)Run a read option with a slow ass quarterback
2)Have a Quarterback that's terrible
3)Had more then freshmen on their team
They might actually be pretty good.

Pitt beats Boston College.
Boston College beats USC.
Should Pitt get ranked after yet another win? It would be the first time since, like, 2008. Would be nice to see though.

The Boston College game was awesome, I love seeing USC lose. Notre Dame winning wasn't too shabby either.

I hate UK as much as any other decent human, but they got robbed last night. Florida should've gotten called on a delay of game.

Kansas state don't let me down now I've got some baaaaaad news for you... they let you down. War Eagle! It wasn't an attractive win, but anytime you beat a top 25 team on the road, it's a good win.

Hahaha, they did. I was hoping that K-State could actually make a field goal and cause an exciting upset, but not the case. Definitely not a game that would excite me as an Auburn fan, a win is a win though. IU beat Missouri....hell yesssss.

Right now the favorites for the playoff have to be Mississippi State, FSU, Alambama/Auburn and Oregon. I think Mississippi State could easily lose though, as they have to play both Alabama and Ole Miss. Alabama/Auburn will beat one another when they play, knocking one of the two of those out. I don't see FSU losing this year in the regular season and I would also anticipate Oregon having and open road. If any of those teams lose more than the requisite one game that it appears will take to get into the playoff, Notre Dame or TCU/Kansas State could be there to step in.
