How many of those wins are televised? Are you sure you have the right return? They were all televised either on RAW, Smackdown or Main Event. I am sure. Right...

Yeah and the sky is blue, grass is green, & Flair is currently Woo'ing somewhere out there. RVD is very much aware of that fact. so does Jack Swagger

Dude should just go away permanently before WWE completely tarnishes his name. Heath Slater has had more wins in the past two weeks than RVD has had since his return. Let that sink in... GO SLATER WOO!

See you at the 2015 Royal Rumble RVD! Perfect timing in my opinion. RVD should have one last Wrestlemania and probably return around Money in the Bank again to have his final 3/4 month run. I was just about the biggest RVD fan there was but it just hasnt been the same since he's been back. He had that one great match against Jericho the night after his initial return but everything since then has fell somewhat flat. I think after one more brief run, his time in WWE will be over. I LOVE seeing RVD when he's on Raw...then I see him "wrestle". As much as it pains me to say, he's not even close to being what he used to.

I'm sure the nice paycheck he's getting is mainly the reason why. He knows he isn't going to be world champion again, so why not job himself out and get paid for doing it. After working at TNA for as long as he did, he probably is getting paid double than that.

His style really doesn't lend itself to being old. He needs to change up his character, incorporate more talking segments.
Lol. He's done.

They have zero idea what to do with him, as is the case with 95% of the roster. RVD himself basically said he was coming back for a money grab more than anything else, so he had to have saw this coming. The entire "injury" situation that kept him out of action the past few weeks was just bizarre, especially because RVD called it "BS" when he was interviewed at Comic Con. Van Dam has consistently been having great matches every week since he came back last year, though, so it's disappointing - but not surprising - that they're not doing anything with him.

I was super excited to see RVD come back last year and he didn't disappoint me. I was super excited for him to come back this year and he's disappointed me time and time again. He's so much slower then he was last year and that makes his usual spots look pretty bad.
He's in the exact spot he should be though, putting over other talent. Losing doesn't hurt him or tarnish his legacy but if he didn't come back after Summerslam I wouldn't be upset.

If it's best for him, he should take time of.

I love how everyone is saying that RVD is done and lost a step, thats not the case at all.Yes obviously being in his early 40's he's not going to be the same RVD of the 90's and early 00's but he can still go at a very high(no pun intended) level. The thing with RVD is that when he feels miss used or is unmotivated he shows it in the ring and kind of dogs it.Just like he did in his last year or so in TNA and now during his second return run in WWE.He's pretty much the Randy Moss of the pro wrestling world.I am positive that he still has gas left in the tank and if the WWE would use him right i.e. give him a real storyline, important wins and then put over a young up incoming star like what Jericho's current run is we would see a much different RVD.
I think it might be in his best interest not to resign with WWE again for another run but join up with Jeff Jarrett's GFW promotion whenever that finally debuts.

Yeah, it's pointless having him around if he's not serving any purpose other than to have meaningless matches on Raw every week. There's no harm in putting some stock in him. Have him feud with Randy Orton for a PPV, that could quite easily be an interesting rivalry and bring the best out of both of them in the ring.

They were all televised either on RAW, Smackdown or Main Event. I am sure. Right... He's 11-18 on WWE TV, 11-19 if you want to count NXT. Your combination of condescension and immaturity is extremely unflattering, but you keep doing you brah.

I'd say RVD's career is currently running on fumes, but that would be seriously overestimating the strength of fumes. Retire. I'm sure he isn't out of fumes. Just go by his house one day and watch the smoke roll out.

as others said, it's balogna to suggest his work rate has dropped to the point where it's embarrassing himself. pretty sure rvd can still go better than a lot of the roster and particularly other older dudes that are still strapping them up. there's no creative juices behind what he's doing, and it looks like he's just rolling through the motions. is that not the coolest? yep, but i imagine after his whole championship weed debacle he's done trying to really 'make it', he knows it's a needless uphill battle.
