Good for Rey. He was played out years ago in WWE. I just hope that freedom from the wellness policy doesn't lead to him making bad decisions.

I wish Rey had a one last big WWE Match, but he just keeps getting injured.
I was really looking forward to what they were going to do with Mysterio/Cara.

Kalisto > Mysterio. Don't believe just watch. What kind of comparison is that Kyle? Mysterio is 37, having faced many knee injuries, of course he doesn't stack up to a kid who is ten years younger. I don't think he's going to compete in the ring anymore, I for one just don't want to see him. He's a legend and a future hall of famer. I like that he's going back to Mexico for his final run. Actually Rey Rey is even older then that in December he's going to be turning 40.Anyways I hope he does get out of his WWE deal and goes to finish his career in Triple A.Never really watch much Triple A but with them coming to the El Rey network in the fall and having ADR,Konnan,Sin Cara and possible Rey at somepoint I am much more inclined to check out their show.

It was a typo. But yeah, AAA is really growing.

Rey's better days are long behind him. To be expected from a guy with his style and moveset. Yeah that was in no way an insult to him.

He's a future Hall of Famer for sure, but I won't miss him since he hasn't been able to bring anything to the table for a while.

I'm actually going based off of Rey Mysterio from when he was healthy. Even now though, it's still fine because WWE needs to create a new luchador/high flyer and Kalisto(Please go watch his indy work!) fits that mold. He even has the "Lucha, Lucha" chant that I know the fans will get into.

Good for him. I think at this point, there isn't much that he or the WWE can do for each other. To be honest, his WWE career was WAY more successful than I imagined it would be when he signed. I was a HUGE fan of Rey in WCW, but I never really cared too much for his WWE stuff. But kudos to him for making it work and having a long career.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy as hell for the dude. I just think that I'm not really upset that he is leaving. I have high hopes with Kalisto.

While it's not surprising to me that Mysterio is likely on the way out, I am surprised he'd take a gig elsewhere. I honestly thought he was just going to hang it up. The guy is falling apart and he's just tarnishing his legacy at this point. This.

If Rey truly does want out and WWE is doing NOTHING with him and he's injury prone and they are doing budget cuts then...
Why not just let him go?

As a Rey Mysterio fan I think this is for the best. But honestly I think Rey should just retire and not risk any more injuries. Although this does give us a chance to see Rey Mysterio vs Mistico dream match come true.

I love the dudes work but he's a kid from Chicago that gets hyped up like a legit lucha star.
