I think Triple H is totally right here. Why bring in another part timer to face Lesnar when you can build up a new top star?

I don't believe they are even close to actually planning the main event of Wrestlemania yet. Reign's popularity already seems to be fading a little bit. A lot can happen in 8 months. I'm sure they are floating ideas in their head, but nothing remotely serious.

If Brock holds the title until then, I'd go with Roman Reigns. Having the Rock beat him for the titles would be absolutely foolish and it'd destroy everything WWE is building with Lesnar.

As a match, I'd rather see Rock/Brock again because as of right now, Roman Reigns screams 2005 John Cena to me.
That being said, Triple H has the right mind set.

I'll side with Vince, because I don't know how convinced I'll be by the time Mania comes around on the side of Roman.
Truth be told, after tonight, I'll have a hard time believing that anyone shy of Kurt Angle/some MMA fighter could beat Brock Lesnar.

Definitely agree with HHH.
The guy who dethrones Brock will be THE GUY. Just makes perfect sense.
I like the Rock, but after what Lesnar did to Taker and Cena, Lesnar would destroy the Rock.

This should easily be The Rock vs Brock Lesnar. They can't leave that kind of money on the table.

Triple H has the right mindset, trying to push new stars, but if they are going to plan this far in advance, The Rock would be a much safer bet. Who knows what could happen to Reigns between now and then.

I'd rather have reigns right now. But the rock as champ would be something cool too. But much can twist and turn until wrestlemania comes

Rock vs Brock is the much bigger match, so that one.
Although I'm pretty sure that whoever wrote that Vince/HHH war report is making it up, because Alvarez asked Meltzer about it on the SummerSlam review audio show and Meltzer said it was all BS.

I'm sure they are floating ideas in their head, but nothing remotely serious. Not if they keep Roman Reigns strong from now till WrestleMania. I am siding with Triple H all the say. It is about building their next megastar. When you have Steve Austin saying the Reigns is going to be that next megastar, that speaks volumes. I don't think The Rock would even have time to prepare for a match at WrestleMania XXXI. He would be too busy doing press for the seventh Fast & Furious movie which comes out five days after WrestleMania. The time to build for their next top megastar can't be derailed. The WWE needs new top attractions/marquee names. The days of seeing Randy Orton and John Cena on top are numbered.

Brock/Rock is the bigger match, but Reigns/Brock makes the most sense.

Star power alone, it should be the Rock vs. Brock Lesnar, but if the plan is for Lesnar to hold the title until Mania, it should be Roman Reigns beating Lesnar, so I'm siding with Triple H on this one. However, anything could happen between now and Mania and Reigns could either lose popularity because they're pushing him way too hard, or he could gain more popularity. Let's see what happens.

Rock vs Brock is the bigger money match and more people would tune into WrestleMania 31

Reigns vs Bryan ( or Rollins/Ambrose/even Cena) for the title, Brock vs Rock non title?

I think after losing to Cena and getting hurt in the process, that it is very likely that we won't see Rock wrestle again.

I think after losing to Cena and getting hurt in the process, that it is very likely that we won't see Rock wrestle again. He said he'd only ever come back for a match that's bigger than the Cena matches, and that pretty much just means Brock right now. I think it's Brock or never.
