RAW ratings are out and it's not good for Rollins & Ambrose....
8/18/14 Avg.- 4,194,000 1st Hour- 4,281,000 2nd Hour- 4,330,000 3rd Hour- 3,972,000
Lost over 300k going to the 3rd hour
(Last week) 8/11/14 Avg.- 4,300,000 1st Hour- 4,082,000 2nd Hour- 4,360,000 3rd Hour- 4,458,000
Brock isn't bringing the ratings either
Is it time to just accept the fact that truly no matter WHAT this company does, the number of people watching on a weekly basis (based on ratings) is always going to be around the same.

oh and if all those people tuned out after Lesnar shame on them because they missed one of the best matches of the year, one of the best RAW main events in a decade, and they just don't know good wrestling.

To be fair Brocks segment was sort of a let down. I wanted to see his next feud kickoff or the cena feud progress but all we got was another awesome Heyman promo. I'm not surprised they lost viewers after that.

As much as I love Heyman, you can only put him out there and have him cut the same type of promo while Brock Lesnar stands next to him so many times. Everybody knows Lesnar isn't going to wrestle on free TV, so what exactly is the draw to want to tune in to see Brock Lesnar right now?

Their loss, not mine. They all missed a damn good match.

You know one of the biggest reasons I don't watch anymore?
THREE HOURS.
It's 3 hours of constant plugging and advertising.. It has only gotten worse too..
SELL! SELL! SELL!

These 3 hour Raws are getting brutal. How many times did we have to see Nikki Bella slap Brie? I fell asleep during the Goldust & Stardust vs Usos match and had trouble staying awake during the main event.

It's like this every week. Johnny Football was on, three hours can be brutal to some, it happens regardless of the closing match/segment.
People have short attention spans. Their loss.

Football is back. They'll struggle for a great rating from Raw now until the NFL playoffs.

Do they still put out quarter-hour ratings? I'd be more interested in those, because the rest of hour 3 wasn't all that great.

I agree. 3 hour Raws get very boring and repetitive. When they first announced Raw being 3 hours, I was very excited. 3 hours exposes more talent, promos, discussions, etc., but NOPE. Constant plugging, advertising, squash matches, worthless matches, boring matches, and irrelevant entertainment. I've been wishing they go back to 2 hour Raws, but they won't.

I like rollins but he shouldn't be on the main stage. And ambrose should be on tna. Of course they would loose ratings with these guys

Hmm yep it's totally ambrose/rollins and not the fact that someone might not want to spend 3 hours watching wrestling.

It's bad when you fall asleep during RAW and wake up and its still not over. 3 hours is seriously way too much, especially with how they choose to fill it.

Because Ambrose has yet to win a match this year and everyone knew Rollins would win. Shocker why people didn't care enough to watch.
And Brock isn't this mega draw like Rock, new fans probably don't even know he works for WWE, UFC fans don't care, and internet fans hate his part time shenanigans. WWE draws, not performers, not anymore, they kill anyone with that potential right before they get big.
Maybe if they pushed people fans want to see then the ratings would get better.

I'm honestly not THAT shocked.
The gap between Brock's promo and Rollins/Ambrose was pretty damn boring. The two dozen recaps of the Nikki/Brie crap couldn't have helped matters.

Well, I think a lot of people went to bed during that last hour cause they knew, eventually, they'd catch the match on the Network for just $9.99.
Too bad--great match.

I swear they spend a good hour on replays and ads. But that main event was AMAZING. You're not just getting great in ring work or an entertaining match, but they are brilliantly telling an amazing story out there. Rollins/Ambrose have amazing chemistry. If DB was the first half of 2014 MVP.....Rollins is the 2nd half. Dude is off the chain right now.

Not my problem - I got to enjoy a great main event with 2 of my favourite wrestlers who shined as bright as they have shined in the last few months. Great storytelling, exceptional in-ring action and a finish that induced emotion. I was sports entertained.
