After initially glancing at the new Cody Rhodes I thought that it had the same exact body as the the elite 20 figure. But after close inspection, I noticed that the legs are the less muscular mold which Bryan has. I am pleased because now we have a figure which perfectly suits Cody Rhodes frame as he doesn't have legs like Orton, and in his elite 3 and 13 versions his torso wasn't big enough.

They switched back to his E3 legs? Bryan's legs are to thin they need to give him the legs (thighs) Punk uses. Hell, they need to give Bryan those thighs as well. Good hopefully they do that for Dolph also. Hopefully they switched the arms back also because the e19/24 Dolph and E20 Cody are way too big in the limbs.

The thing about Daniel Bryan, is that those legs are the CM Punk leg molds, but shrunken down th make him shorter. Mattel's torsos are roughly the same height on all, so it's up to the legs to make the heights different. It's why Cesaro looks positively alien. He has this short torso with legs that are a good boot length taller than they should be. Usually the technique works, sometimes it doesn't. I do miss when Cody and Dolph were smaller. It is interesting that Mattel says they can't switch back to old parts after giving an upgrade, but then proceed to give this figure smaller legs, and downgraded Kofi on elite 27 to smaller arms again.

Bryan's legs are too thin. The knee pads are so loose on him that his elites always looks bowlegged. Just give him the Punk thigh with the smallest kees and at should make him smaller. But Bryan's thighs are too thin.

But Bryan's thighs are too thin. Yeah, it does make those kneepads bobble. When shrinking the height of the legs they shrink the circumference as well. This kind of parts repurposing wouldn't happen to Cena. Maybe Daniel Bryan will one day matter enough to WWE to merit allocating the budget to make a stockier mold for him. Also, this problem doesn't occur on basics because they made an actual proportionate mold. Guess they thought there was no chance in hell another short guy would ever get as over and they weren't going to go all out to sculpt it for elites.

Just looked at the Cody on RSC and they look to be the same legs as e13/e20. Look at the size of the calves. They aren't his e3 legs.

People always complain about the "leg sleeves" and want smaller kneepads, but a lot of guys wear kneepads that go right to their boots (ie no skin showing between), and wear their boots almost to their knees. But on the Mattel figures, there's usually a ton of calf/shin that's not covered by boots, so the figures need kneepads that cover that area. Basically, Mattel uses kind of alien proportions on the lower legs making them about twice as long as they should be, and it's very apparent on Cesaro because of the lack of kneepads.

E32 Cody is a massive letdown all together.

I think the biggest issue with that figure remains to be the head scan. Mattel has had years to perfect it, and aside from the mustached Basic I've been disappointed with their results.

I think X-Pac has a new kneepad mold. I think that it might look better.

Cool info. I hate when people say something they see and don't post pics of it though,
