When I was playing EWR I was about to load the next day up, but the game wouldn't respond so I waited for it to do that, but after awhile a message popped up saying "Runtime error 52: Bad file name or number". When the message popped up, the game closed and it has kept doing that since yesterday. Is there a way to fix this runtime error 52, or do I need to start a new game?

Try starting up EWR by right clicking on the icon and click on "Run as Administrator" that's usually a common fix to the simulation games. Try that out.

Tried it and still can't load into the next day. This is really the quickest and easiest fix, without having to download any unesscary software. Runtime 52 is caused by a corrupted file. Sorry man . Are you running EWR 4.2? Just try uninstalling it by going Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.Select a program, and then click Uninstall. And just re-install the software here.: www.ewwarehouse.info/mod-index/ew-mod-index/

I use to get that when I played EWR, I'm a TEW guy now, and it seemed to have brought a very horrendous virus onto my computer at the time. Mind you this what around three years ago, just watch out.

Yeah as Progs said Runtime errors are synonymous with viruses and trojans as well. But that doesn't essentially mean that you have one, maybe try scanning your computer to see if anything comes up.

Scanned my computer and nothing came up, uninstalled EWR and reinstalled it. So I guess just start over since my old data could be corrupted or what?
