JokerFC Word™It should be out for the public very soon. I often get to see trailers before they release for the public but I can't post them online because of NDA. Sometimes so early that if the film is CGI then the models aren't complete (like Ted 2). It literally hit the nail on the head, you'll all love it. All I'm hoping for now is a Hugh Jackman cameo. Holy crap you guys, I just saw an full trailer (early) for Deadpool and it looks absolutely amazing. They've absolutely hit it out of the park. I could easily see it being the best comic book movie. I hope it does really well. If it's a hit hopefully it will erase that massive stinking pile of horse sh*t Deapool we were forced to endure a few years ago. They made a reference to that film in the trailer!!

Great stuff @cabbageconkers Has everybody read Jordans tirade on the racism of FF fans online..... Oh man oh man oh man What I hate above all else is this double standard. These same people who are "loving" Johnny being a black guy are the exact same people who said that Halle Berry wasn't black enough to be Storm. It's a race issue, not a racism issue. I'll be the first person complaining if they ever cast a white guy as Blade. I absolutely hate double standards. If comic book movies don't at least try and represent the authenticity of the comics, then what's the point?! JokerFC Word™It should be out for the public very soon. ^ Cool. I am excited to see the trailer now that you said it is so good. There's a rumor Matthew McConaughey may be Norman Osborn in the MCU. I wanted Kevin Spacey or Bryan Cranston, but MM is not a bad choice. That would be cool or if the other rumor is true with him being Star Lord's dad.

I was just thinking that if they wanted to have gone for a more traditional Nick Fury in the MCU then this guy would have fit perfectly

You know, I had a thought. Thor seemed, outside of his dream, completely content in the new Avengers flick. So I guess that means he hasn't yet discovered what Loki did to Odin, right? I wonder how that will play off in the new Thor considering Anthony Hopkins said he isn't returning.

But see, to me, that sounds great as something to happen like, halfway through the movie. That'd be great. But how do they go through the beginning without any presence of Odin? I doubt our first view of Asgard is destruction. They have to show us how pretty it is before they make us feel the weight of its destruction. Forgive the ramblings of a speculative Thor nut.

I completely see your perspective now and i must say now I'm questioning how they will do it...maybe a credit scene in another film? I really don't know.

I have often wondered how this will be accomplished.....will they use stock footage in a minor way perhaps? And the first moments of the movie are Thor/Heimdall discovering that Odin has been replaced?

www.superherohype.com/news/341759-michael-b-jordan-on-the-fantastic-four-casting-controversy#/slide/1Ok so here is Jordans full interview regarding the FF controversy. At first? I laughed at this to be honest...his snide sh8t has been present since day 1 but then I realised after reading this properly this morning that he is being QUITE offensive here. Its this tone that Jordan and Trank have possessed ever since this movies early stages that has driven me away MUCH more than anything else. its the "yeah we will do whatever the f*ck we want and you pathetic fools will still go see it" attitude that is present here again that has been most damaging to me. He is also missing the point.....Trank has mutilated what the FF is soley to give his buddy the lead part,IMHO? the complaining would have been reduced 80% I feel had he just went ahead and cast an AA actress as Sue. He needed to keep the Storms siblings. Why change that at all? Tranks arrogance let him down......people know this. Also the trailers have garnered a tame reaction in terms of views etc. the outlook isn't good. Personally I am pleased. its a big summer movie and will no doubt do well enough.....whether it does well enough for the bean counters at Fox is another thing entirely. in summary? Eat sh*t Jordan.

I just put AOU on... and I'm almost taken out of the opening scene because seriously, what is Iron Man even doing there? I don't know how you interpret the ending of Iron Man 3 as anything but him retiring. It's frustrating that a writer as talented as Joss Whedon didn't at all acknowledge Iron Man 3 (a movie I really didn't care for, but in terms of storyline continuity, it's a pretty sloppy oversight). Has anyone come up with an explanation for this?

I don't know what I missed but losing your home and destroying all of your suits seems like a pretty finite ending to me.

Has anyone come up with an explanation for this? He says at the end of IM3 "I am Iron Man".....and that nobody can take that away(or something similar) Also? I didn't think for a second that Stark was retiring as Iron Man at the end of Iron Man 3(neither did anybody I know in person). Its the beginning of a new chapter for him....that's all.He explicitly states that the armour was a cocoon. IMHO he is clearly talking about his evolution as Iron Man. That retirement notion sprang up all over the place after the movie in tandem such random wailings as "how will stark be IM without the arc reactor in his chest2 etc etc. Personally? I have NEVER understood it.....of course he didn't retire. Extremis and his refinement of it has opened new doors for him. He clearly went to NY started work on MK43 and he and Banner put their heads together on veronica. Also just another tidbit about The Avengers opening scene.....Agents of Shield explains that Coulson has been on the trail of Loki's sceptre and it was he who alerted the Avengers(via Maria Hill)to Strucker's whereabouts. So in my mind Stark was helping Thor to find it after the fall of SHIELD.

He does say that, but that's like 90 seconds after he literally destroys every single suit he's ever built, and I saw the arc reactor surgery as being symbolic that he was retiring so he could keep Pepper out of harm's way. Even if it isn't meant to have been implied, I don't see any other way to interpret that ending. I don't have a huge problem with it or the beginning of The Avengers, but couldn't they have had a five-second line to bridge the two movies?

I outlined above man.....But I think between the end of IM3 and when you see his setup in AOU? this is all clearly answered.
