No spidey or xmen? Can't wait for gotg 2 though, such an awesome film an no idea where it would go from there. I think this thread is only for the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So no Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, or Namor. Those properties are owned by other film companies.

Out of these choices it's easily Guardians 2.
I'm excited for Cap 3 and Doctor Strange, a bit weary of Ant-Man, and not really wanting a third Thor movie.
If the rumors are true, we might have to add Captain Marvel and Black Panther to the poll.

Why change the format in the 2nd thread? Just put together all the Marvel movies regardless of who owns what..
No need to make things complicated.

Here's an interesting casting rumor regarding Doctor Strange from Bleeding Cool, thought I'd share it with you guys.

They're Marvel comics, but Fox and Sony own the rights to make Spider-Man and X-Men movies because Marvel had to avoid bankruptcy back in the day. It's not my thread, just saying I think that's why they aren't listed. Even if they were included, those studios have done poorly with those properties and Guardians 2 would be a clear winner.

I voted gotg2 but actually more excited for apocalypse and spidey 3. Only op can say why but I'd assume he did it cos of the marvel universe movies too. I think it was easier with everything in here, one thread instead of multiples and everyone sees it.

Since there are other markets to still release it in and it's already over 500 million, I can absolutely see GOTG crossing 1 billion. Good for them!

Ugh... Every time new information comes out about this movie I start to appreciate the originals more and more. Let's see: -Human Torch is black -Him and Sue are siblings through adoption -No superhero tights -The entire F4 team looks like they're barely out of high school -Jamie Bell as The Thing -And now Dr. Doom's look is revealed and he looks ridiculous There's probably more reason's to hate this abomination of a Marvel movie but that's all I can think of at the moment. But that's more than enough to make me disgusted by the direction this movie is taking. Does anyone else think this movie is gonna be a huge disappointment or is it just me?

Yeah, they need to put a sign on every door where the movie is screened saying "Abandon all hope ye who enter here" because there is absolutely no hope that this movie will be any good.

Even though I preferred Captain America 2 over Guardians (very slightly, I just thought the story was better in capt), I'm still looking forward to a Guardians Sequel more.

It's not just you, people have been sh*tting all over this for months. To the point where I just gave up concerning myself with it. I reached a point after hearing Trank talk about his motivation where I just said, " it, too much other stuff to care about this." So I have no plan to see it and I hope it does horribly at the box office so that people like Trank don't think they can come in and just do what they want with no regard for fans of the source material. This is the kind of thing he would have likely gotten away with in the 90s, but I hope it buries him now. Guy seems like a first-class assh*le. It's a shame because I actually really like Jamie Bell, a ton, and Mara and Teller to a lesser degree, but they were horribly miscast here and I hope it doesn't hurt any of their careers. I feel terrible for real fans of F4, as that property, while an aging one, definitely deserves better. This is going to be a disaster of pretty large proportions imo. Trank doesn't have enough fans from Chronicle to carry a big budget film to success. If he went the James Gunn route pre Guardians, at least he would be appealing to the fans on a personal level, but instead he's acting like an arrogant pr*ck to the very people who could crush his career. We live in a time where a character like Daredevil is about to get serious treatment on Netflix, and it's looking like it will be pretty fantastic. Why do I need to concern myself with the movies and shows that aren't going the extra mile to be great? This is the superhero boom. You try to insert sh*t into the mix right now and the fans are going to eat you alive.

Is he that stupid and oblivious to realize that fans don't wanna see their beloved superheroes go through such unnecessary alterations and changes? Does he not know about all the backlash he's getting from this abomination? Does he just not care? Is he taking directing lessons from Uwe Bolle and intentionally making this movie a disaster? I just don't understand this idiot's logic behind all these incredibly unnecessary changes and I'm just trying to figure it out. But the more I think about it, the more I get the urge to punch babies and kick puppies. I so badly want this movie to fail.

To answer your questions though, at least from what I gathered so far, the answer is yes to most of it. He seems to not care at all, and he has blatantly made fun of the backlash he's received from fans, to the point where I think he's even instigating it on some level. I don't know that it's stupidity, but I do think he's arrogant, arrogant enough to believe that his film will succeed without hardcore fans. He had a sliver of success with Chronicle and now he's making the same film over again, only with a different title and a few new actors. I don't think it will work but he's more than entitled to rub it everyone's face if it does work.

This piece of crap is starting to make the original look like a masterpiece of a superhero movie. And I'm not talking about the recent one, I'm talking about the one from the 90s that was never officially released. Yeah, this looks THAT bad. At least the 90s version was truer to the comics.
