So do I AF....but since he was such a whiney b*tch on TIH? Its his own fault. Ruffalo always seemed a little too "big" to be Banner. But I have grown to like and accept him in the role since. I was lukewarm at first....BUT when I seen Avengers? I was sold. He was the weak link in the Avengers film for me. The Hulk was fine, but as Bruce, he looked like a dirty old man. I swear, Ruffalo could have 100 showers in a day and still not be clean. LOL....Fiona often made similar comments!!

So......WB blinks AGAIN and moves Pan away from Ant Man. I have always been behind Ant Man & reed 100%.... after Evangeline Lily's interview cleared up all the Wright stuff I'm really hoping it does great.

Sony just lost tons of money.. This is legitimately the perfect time for Marvel to swoop in and make an offer. What caused them to lose all that money? Sony got hacked and had a few movies leak, some hadn't even hit theaters yet.. Plus bank account information and personal information, ALOT of stuff got leaked that is going to financially put them in a hole. It's been bad.

linkIt appears that the higher ups at Sony want to continue negotiations on the Spider-Man franchise with Marvel Studios. I'm understanding this as, Japanese business men are pissed about the leak and don't trust the Sony Picture's execs' opinion anymore.. This could be great.

I will cry tears of joy for hours if Marvel ever gets the rights back to Spider Man. I'm not joking.

Joss Whedon is out and Joe and Anthony Russo are officially in to direct 'The Avengers: Infinity War'.
That's fine. I wanted Whedon to finish out the story he started, but the Russo's are clearly capable.. It was either them or James Gunn, and I kinda had a feeling it wouldn't be James Gunn because he has been very outspoken about things lately, and that kinda worries me.
I'm sure they'll keep Joss Whedon on as a consultant, because it's not really the directing I'm worried about with the Russo's but more the script.

Gunn can say what he likes.....it isn't up to him. I hope he isn't going to be one of these directors that pisses in the back pocket of the people that gave him a chance.

These two guys got the action & story down PERFECT in TWS.....so bring it on boys!!..... marino13 I will also cry tears of joy if Spidey goes back to Marvel.....and they will be genuine tears of joy too.

I don't understand if Gunn is in denial or if there are legitimately no plans for a crossover. I mean once Thanos gathers every Inifity Stone and the Gauntlet, home boy is gonna be everyone's problem, right? I mean that's how I've looked at it.. That's how it definitely looks to be playing out (including GotG and the after credit for Thor: TDW). I hope James Gunn isn't pushing his limits within the studio with comments that may hold no merit. He seems to have become very vocal ever since 'Guardians' became a success and I don't know if it's in a positive way. You can't be Marvel Studios, have The Avengers success and then have the success of Guardians and not be aware that the massive success means everyone certainly wants to see these two radical teams get together and battle each other and a big bad guy.. So I can't understand James Gunn's reluctance to want a crossover.. Not to mention the news leak a while back that Batista was restructuring his Marvel deal that "includes a significant role in The Avengers 3". James Gunn has worried me a little.

I'm conflicted. I want Marvel to get Spider-Man and not only delete those Amazing Spider-an movies from my mind, but also introduce him into their already massive universe. But at the same time I don't want to sit through yet another damn Spidey origin story.

From what was purposed to Sony Pictures during the deal was that Garfield was out, there would be no origin story, the previous movies won't exist, and it wouldn't focus as heavy on Peter Parker's relationship.. That's a report I was reading earlier, it's allegedly why the Japanese power for the Sony company are trying to restart the deal, and are pretty much pissed at every Sony Pictures executive.
The report says that once "they" hacked into their systems, there was an actual folder that said "Administrative Passwords" and it contained, you guessed it, ALL OF THE PASSWORDS. Someone has gotta lose their job.
What's been going on with Sony has been very entertaining. Hell, it's been more entertaining than most of their content from over the past 2 years.. But this whole look inside a Hollywood Production company is bad for the town, because I assume most of them work in similar fashion. And this whole disaster for Sony may be enough leverage for Marvel Studios to pursue the Spider-Man property. They clearly want it, and I would imagine as soon as they get it, all immediate plans will take a slight hiatus to throw him into the mix.
This is all a win/win for me.

His contract is up soon (in June 2015 I believe, so 2 months after A2 will release), so unless they resign him, and he wants to resign, then he probably won't be involved. And it seems unlikely they'd resign up and not put him at the helm of A3.
