Just collecting thoughts on this if taker comes back surely he has to go after brock so could we see a taker/lesnar title match at mania (on a side note I have set this up in 2k14 by having taker return and win rumble lol)

I doubt it. I think if Undertaker wrestles, it'll be against Sting. I don't think he can be relied on as the show-closing match anymore, either.

I did something similar in my 2k14 universe. I had 'Taker defeat Brock at Armageddon, he surrendered the belt the next night which lead to Reigns winning the title in the Royal Rumble match (was supposed to be Bryan, but Reigns had a finisher stored lol). I then had Bryan win at WM.

I doubt it. I see it being either Sting or him not competing at all.

Nope. I do see after whoever beats Brock for the title that Undertaker tears through the ring mat and pulls Brock to "hell".

I sincerely hope not. Rock vs Brock is a much bigger match and I would much rather see Taker vs Sting as a special attraction match.

As far as I'm concerned, Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker is finished. There is no need for Taker to have kind of rematch both storyline wise and for logical reasons. Lesnar beat him clean. If they had a Rematch, Taker would need to win, which would make losing the Streak in the first place pointless. In all honesty, I'd rather Undertaker was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and just made one final appearance at Wrestlemania, possibly with Sting after Sting defeats Randy Orton.

We might never see The Undertaker wrestle again.. He's old school, he's the type that will retire with a loss, quietly..
And that's fine.

Hell no. I don't think WWE would have him lose, then continue to compete at WM. I'm 99% sure he's done.

There is no upside to a rematch between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. When booking a top caliber match, there needs to be an upside to it. With Lesnar/Taker at WrestleMania XXX, there was an upside. That upside being it re-charged Lesnar's batteries and gave him a win that cemented his legacy.

No.
And if they ever did Taker vs. Lesnar again, Lesnar should beat him in about 5 minutes. I've always liked the idea of after Undertaker's streak ends, he would want to try and wash away the loss with a revenge win. Only when he steps in the ring again, he's get beat even quicker.
It's the perfect way to do it, like a real fighter, the fire still burns and he's still a bad ass, but his body can't do it anymore. It's not his fault, 30 years of dominating fools wears on you and your body can't hold up anymore.
At that point it'd be the realization of "oh man, I'm old. The game passed me by."
It's sad and it doesn't need to and absolutely shouldn't happen to Undertaker, I just like that storyline and I've used it in different games.

I have been thinking the same. I don't see Taker not returning. When he does, he can't just go into a program with Sting and not acknowledge Lesnar. Wouldn't make sense. But then again, this is the WWE.

Remember the whole Taker/HHH "It's Time" thing?
Taker returns to challenge Brock. Triple H comes out and says Taker's time has come and gone. When the streak died so did the Undertaker.
Taker grabs HHH and chokeslams him and says "You can't kill what's already dead."
The next week HHH comes out and stands on the stage. "Fine. Taker, you want one more match at WrestleMania? You've got it." And then he leaves. Nothing more is said by him.
Taker comes out the next week and thanks HHH for giving in and realizing Taker vs Brock II is "best for business." HHH comes out and tells Taker he needs to learn what is best for business. There's some commotion that causes the announcers to freak out, cuts to the ring where Taker is being spun around and laid out with an RKO.
Orton, "You're right. You can't kill what's already dead. But when something's dead you have to bury it."

No.
Taker should have one final match with Sting.
Or no match at all.
Regardless. He's the Undertaker. He can do whatever he damn well pleases.
The people who bitch and moan will bitch and moan regardless. So whatever Taker and WWE want to do is fine by me.
Taker is more legendary than any current performer so he's more than earned his right to either wrestle again or quietly retire.

No
There is no point for Taker to fight Brock again. From a storyline standpoint I get it but in reality, WWE would not put Brock in the ring with a broken down hobbled old man Taker unless they seriously wanted Brock to kill him.
Taker barely made it out of the last match against Brock, if Taker goes into a fight with Brock again, he'll end up in a wheel chair for life.
Taker should fight Sting at Mania or just call it a career. Theres no one else even close that is deserving of fighting Taker at Mania this year. Cena is the only other one who could be considered and now its pointless that the streak is over. Taker vs. Sting is the money match everyone wants to see and its now or never.
