Both, although mainly WCW in 98 because of the Harts. When it struck me how awful it was I didn't really watch as much WCW though.

I'd watch WCW from 8-9 for the weekly Jericho opening match and nWo promo before switching to WWF at 9 and staying there till 11.

I remember watching WCW in march of 1999 and going for a walk with my dog and wondering
1) Why was Flair feuding with Hogan AGAIN....and why was Flair heel? 2) why hasn't Goldberg gotten his revenge on Hogan, Nash & nWo? 3) where the hell are Hart & Sting on TV?
I will always remember that Saturday......

In Canada, we got our Raw and Nitro on TSN. So Raw would air live from 9-11 on Monday (unless curling was taking place, that sucked) and Nitro would air Wednesday morning at midnight (technically it would be considered Tuesday night still) so I never had to worry about switching back and forth, I got to see both shows fine.

Watched both, and enjoyed both. It was mainstream, and all the guys in the office talked about it around the water-cooler on Tuesday morning (my office even had some avid women viewers). I can remember bars in downtown Providence, RI that used to have Monday night wrestling viewing parties - truly awesome to remember now & maybe something we'll never see again.
In my myopic Northeast US regional mind, I had a hard time accepting WCW promoting major shows in Worcester, MA, Boston, MA, & Providence, RI which had been WWE havens for years so I chose team WWF as that was who I had grown up with.
That being said, I chose 1 horse in a 2 horse race but during that time, my soul & my passion was ECW all the way. They just weren't on Monday nights - lol.

Both, initially Nitro more than Raw then eventually gave up and focused on Raw, occasionally watching Nitro on ad breaks.

I was more a WCW fan,..but you truly didn;t live the monday night wars unless you watched both.. flipping channels during crap segment/matches, or commercial breaks lol

I was always a WWF loyalist. that said,I did the standard channel flipping. but WWF was always my favorite.

I watched both but there was certainly a window where I was more into WCW, but I got tired of them F-ing things up.
I'd watch the first hour of Nitro, record the rest and mostly watch Raw.

Was always a WWF guy. However, I did flip the channels and would record one with my vcr so I could watch throughout the week. I think nitro started going an hour earlier as well at some point, which was awesome. The best time of my life.
I think by mid 1999 I quit watching WCW since it was pretty bad in my opinion. I'd occasionally watch, especially when Lance storm was on.

I watched both but primarily WWE for me. Still a big fan of both, even when WCW was terrible I enjoyed it because it was at the height of me being a wrestling fan growing up.

WCW. I hated the Attitude Era and even though WCW was also feces in 1999-2001, I stuck with them until the very end.
