On his Facebook page, Ahmed claims WWE and Mattel are making both and one is coming with the intercontinental championship. I thought back in the day he stopped by the cops and they found kiddie porn in the trunk of his car or something? Am I alone on this? It's been so long now but I swear I saw that story somewhere? Anyone? Never heard this. No worries because; we'll get Ahmed never.

Still no desire for Ahmed. I just never found him entertaining. Hell, the only thing I think I remember from him. It might not have been him, but I think it was. It was him flipping out backstage when Goldust gave him a "mouth to mouth" kiss. Other than that I don't remember a thing he did. That's probably because that's all WWE would highlight, he had a great fued with nation of domination.

We could use an Ahmed more than a 20th Triple H or Kane or Mysterio, though. You know just to mix things up. 1st time Johnson or 20th Triple H I still would rather the Triple H (and maybe they finally give us the hHh trunks) but there an easy 30 + wrestlers I would want before a Johnson. But like I said the only thing I remember was that segment with Goldust.

Ahmed recently stated in a shoot that Vince McMahon vowed to dead him out of WWE history back in 1998 if he took some time off to be with his dying sister, so he quit and we in fact never did see or hear of Ahmed again and he's been gone for 17 years. If Vince hates you, he'll treat you as if you never existed, so I doubt we'll see a figure. Ahmed strikes me as an old school guy who doesn't pay attention to modern social media technology, so he probably some how got this whole figure thing confused as just a rumor he heard. It would be a cool thought though, but Mattel is so slow with even popular stars and repaints that we need, that I doubt they'd ever make a generally forgotten mid-carder.

Ahmed Johnson was a beast. I mostly watched wcw at that time but I remember thinking while I watched.....what if any of these guys ever had to face Ahmed Johnson? They'd be screwed. Not that I thought he was the greatest technical wrestler or anything, but damn he looked mean

I hear ya. Totally understandable. But I have 3 words: Bret "Hitman" Hart.Didn't Vince hate him too? Doesn't WWE still hate him? And he has at LEAST figures. (he was a very good wrestler though. Ahmed not exactly.) He seemed to be following teachings along the way in his first 8 months or so in WWF. His best accomplishment was his intercontinental championship win by defeating Goldust. Then after the injury by Faarooq, he returned and things seemed to slowly go south from there which included his physical conditioning. Forgotten midcarder?--You ain't lying. Another mid carder, Xpac...only reason he's really remembered is because of the Kliq. Tony Norris (Ahmed) never had a Kliq. The Kliq apparenlty limited what Ahmed could do in shows as well, grounding him when he could do high spots. Ahmed Johnson was a beast. I mostly watched wcw at that time but I remember thinking while I watched.....what if any of these guys ever had to face Ahmed Johnson? They'd be screwed. Not that I thought he was the greatest technical wrestler or anything, but damn he looked mean Absolutely. He was pure rage and intensity--Something Brock Lesnar still can't master. (though Brock accomplished more, he didn't have to work his way up though the card. Thanks Paul Heyman.) Ahmed Johnson, the original "Beast Incarnate" of WWE in the mid 90's.

I would be really cheesed off if Mattel had Faarooq with a t-shirt saying "Darn!". I remeber the Jakks one just said "Farooq" LOL.

Ahmed had a huge push upon coming in,the pearl river plunge was pretty impressive at the time. Then he had the feud with Faarooq where he had the catchphrase "your going down" after that it was all downhill.

Farooq recently has been confirmed for Elite 38 in APA Attire with Bradshaw. Ahmed is a toss up due to his past "activities", but if it was done right with the right accesories, then maybe.

I want an Ahmed Johnson for my collection. Pearl River Plunge all day! Definitely want Faarooq, too, in NOD gear. But people say a lot of stuff on social media. Stuff they know about and stuff they don't. I wouldn't get too worked up about it until we get a confirmation from Mattel.

WCW Simmons or Farooq in NOD gear would be a must have for me.
