He can tag team with Darren Young and then they can make headlines across the country for being the first REAL gay tag team!!!

I'm not particularly sure what WWE is trying to gain out of the situation. Good press by way of TMZ and then GLAAD? Why as a wrestling audience do we give a sh*t what this guy has to say though? 7th round pick that didn't fit on a team with a fully stacked defensive line. It's not really a big mystery why he got cut. There is a buzz because he's gay, but that's the only reason it matters.
The guy is a total moron if he shows up on Raw next week. He's trying to find a job in the NFL. If teams get the impression he's focusing on anything other than being a pro football player right now, so like 15 minutes of fame, they are going to avoid him like the plague.

Openly gay NFL player who was recently cut by the team that drafted him.

I have no problem with Him signing to WWE if that does happen as long as he trains properly and learns the ropes and gains a good character.I really don't care if he's gay or not.And besides he isn't the first former football player they sign I believe Roman Reigns and Ryback were former football players as well as the rock.

I mean more power to the guy to show up but it wouldn't benefit anyone. WWE is hoping to get what exactly? Good Press? The guy is not a big enough story/name for anyone to care and get anyone outside of the wrestling world to tune into Raw. And I hope Michael Sam realizes that the moment he steps out of that curtain into Raw, that no NFL team will ever touch him. What could he possibly say that anyone cares about that wouldn't be negative towards the NFL, which last I checked is where he is still hoping to get work. Cutting promos on someone/something gets you to the top in WWE, it will probably get you blacklisted in the NFL.

It's simple, WWE wants the good press and sees it as a way to draw some of Monday Night Football's audience back to Raw.
How do you combat football? Bring the biggest story in football to your show.
It's a novel idea, but it's not going to do him any favors if he shows up.

I know many won't agree with this but...
When was the last time the WWE offered a 7th round draft pick who didn't make the team an open mic? None. So why treat Sam different just because he is gay. Treat him the same as you would anyone else. Leave him off RAW, just as you would any other 7th rounder, and focus on putting up a great show to counteract MNF next week.
My two cents.

This is the kind of thing people would bash TNA or WCW for doing. The WWE really is sucking these days.

This could bring wwe into the attention of national news again. But in a good way for once.
I am all for it. Hope it happens and raw pulls a huge rating

Does Vince think he's Larry King or Katie Couric that Michael Sam would open up about his NFL ordeal on WWE Raw?

Hopefully it just turns out to be Michael Samdow. There's enough filler on RAW as it is, they don't need to waste more time on a segment with a failed football player.

Hope it happens and raw pulls a huge rating they're such PR $#&*#%*#$ that it's a turn off to me HHH has had how many jokes over the years while in DX making fun of Vince or Rock or anybody else for loving c#@k & blah blah blah...the history of the company is based on insensitivity - tolerance sure, but more than a sprinkle of insensitivity they only care about what's convenient for their image & I hope Michael Sam sees right through it

When WWE actually acknowledged that Darren Young came out that should've been a sign to all that the "Vince loves ..." Days are over.
