Yup. I forgot most of his threads ended up being bitching and complaining about crap and 9/10 they ended up being locked. A fate I see for this one too lol. So you answer the question? If WWE had competition on Monday Nights, would it be a better product? Is no competition making the product bland? Would it be better with competition? Probably. Would certain fans still cry and moan? Yes. Is the WWE going under in 3 years? No.

There isn't another owner out there who is willing to gamble his/her company on being direct competition to the WWE. The company is just too big and powerful at the moment, even though for the most part the product is lack luster. The EASIEST way to fix that is to release all the god damn writers and Kevin Dunn. But as long as Vincent Kennedy McMahon is in charge those two things will NEVER happen.
The WWE also has to stop following Social Media trends. I could care less about hearing about twitter every time a new segment starts. Stop trying to force the issue, let it progress naturally.
Unless another Ted Turner type comes along who is willing to put his entire lively hood on the line than the WWE will never have true competition. Anyone can put there show on Mondays & Thursdays, that doesn't mean the WWE will see them as a threat, unless said company started to draw similar numbers to the WWE product. TNA's Monday Night experiment was a complete joke. ROH is nowhere near the level TNA was when they tried, and they seem content with there place as the Number 3 Company in the US. Global Force Wrestling will probably never see the light of day as long as TNA around, and if they do start soon their primary competition will be TNA/ROH than the WWE.

I agree tonight's Raw was one of the worst in years! It was far worse than last week if you ask me. They do so many things wrong that it is just sad, I like you want it to be fun and want it to be great....but its just not there and WWE is doing it to themselves.
One thing that gets me is that they have 3 hours of Raw, and they show us so MANY replays and videos packages that it is a slap in the face to people who watch the full show. I mean if you watch the full 3 hour Raw, you will probably see a replay of something that happened that night at least 3 or 4 times. They have such great talent on the roster right now and they should be flourishing with great storylines, but instead they just drag the show through 3 hours. They could easily be making better storylines and giving wrestlers more chances to speak than they do with a 3 hour show. We need more storylines and segments, but the problem is that when we get segments we get segments with people like The Bella Twins (I think it is an insult to fans and wrestlers alike that those 2 have been given all of the TV time they have been given as of late).
Pretty much I always have hope that WWE is going to WOW me and that is why I DVR it every week, and when I'm able to I watch it live (because I have been watching RAW since I can remember). The problem is I am hardly ever wowed by anything WWE does now. They were hyping the Attitude Era Raws and some WCW Nitro shows on the Network tonight, they need to go back and re-watch them. Those shows had that "Can't Miss" feel to it and you felt like you needed to see it, but today's Raw....You can miss a month and start watching again and you will feel like you have not missed a thing.
They have the talent right now where they should be able to be Great! Creative is killing them and they don't have to have the dirty TV-14 stuff that the Attitude era had, but they could use a lot of ideas from those Raws and look at how they were structured to make today's Raws better.
- More Segments - Matches that people want to see on Raw (I give them big props for the Dean Ambrose Seth Rollins match from a couple of weeks ago)I'm not saying you give away every big ticket match, but you can give a title match on RAW here and there. - Get the Bella Twins out of the main spotlight! They are terrible and I just can't stand them on the show. - Don't make every match go through a commercial break - A smooth flow of the show, Raws back then flowed, Raws today drag (they have the talent to make a 3 hour Raw flow). - Announce team needs help (I'm not sure how to fix it but it needs help)
I get what your saying TC and I don't blame you one bit for giving up on the WWE. I hope you enjoy the classics on the WWE Network. I will be enjoying some WCW Nitro this week on the WWE Network and come next Monday I will hope that WWE pulls out a great Raw.

Blah Blah Blah Blah. WWE will not die. RAW is just going through a tough time right now.

I appreciate where the OP is coming from, but there simply can't and won't ever be anymore competition in terms of another wrestling company making the product competitive and by turns 'better'. Those days are well and truly gone.

I agree, Raw was pretty poor tonight. They have Jericho vs. Wyatt in a cage next weeks, so viewers will probably tune in for that.

It won't be a clean finish, Rowan/Harper will get involved and it'll be the same match we get every time. Then again, after Cena last week I don't even know if Wyatt will win.

Yes because the product is going to suffer without one person watching. You posted a thread on forum site, oh WWE is gonna see this and go under. If you're not going to watch I don't think anyone could really give a sh*t.

I agree,... WWE has been garbage for some time now.. ignore the naysayers... most of the people on these boards are fanboys anyways.

I have actually been enjoying the product more this year than I have in at least 5 years (The lack of Punk definitely helps a great deal). There's always room for improvement, and it certainly isn't as good as it was in any of the boom periods, but I can't really point out any glaring sources of irritation...(MAYBE Roman Reigns. No offense to the guy, but its just not working for me). They are pushing new stars, things (for the most part) have a different kind of feel, and I have enjoyed the majority of the matches. That's not to say there aren't things I would change if I were in charge, but I am reasonably satisfied, and certainly don't feel that they are headed in a direction that needs to be turned around. Of course, at the end of the day they can't please everyone, and some will be completely put-off.
I respect your opinion, and have definitely felt the same way (as recently as last year), so I understand.

Wrestling would certainly fit into the realm of fringe interests that make up geek culture. Not to mention you have a link to a freaking Pokemon fan site in your signature.

I am just waiting until Ambrose and Rollins have another match, they always kill it together.

Personally I'm not watching until Ambrose or Ryback come back. I just can't get inti what they are doing right now. I can totally respect if people enjoy it, I just can't. Ambrose vs. Rollins was the best part of RAW... No idea why they made him film a WWE Movie when he was finally taking off with the fans! So frustrating as a fan. Ambrose was getting HOT! Why take him off TV? He'll get an even bigger pop when he returns
