As we all know, the Mail Away debut Mankind came back I stock over the weekend. Well, I decided to grab one, and again, they shove him inside a small box. The card is beyond damaged and Amazon won't put it in a larger box according to Lisa B. at Amazon.... The blister was separated from the card. Out of curiosity, How many people received the same damaged figure? Did anyone get a clean mint card?

I ordered 2 of them with the hope one would be MOC but once again Amazon disappoints and both were bent to hell. I did end up keeping one only because it's such a great figure but I sent the other back. I refuse to order from them anymore.

Just checked mine from the garbage. It was perfect. I didn't notice when I got it, because if I cared about carding more than figures, I'd just collect these: Attachment DeletedWould probably be cheaper and take up much less space.

Lol mine was perfect too. Now I feel bad for all these MOC collectors getting garbage ones.

My packaging was trashed which I didn't care about since the figure came out immaculate.

Going off of that pic, of Mankind in the Box, it looks like the carding shouldnt have been that damaged. Maybe they just have a bunch of "package damaged" figures they want to get rid of but dont want to lower the price? That stinks. My Flairs came in boxes that were very small as well, but they werent as damaged as this.

Not sure why all the Mankind figures are all damaged because I got E29 Rowan from them and the package was in brand new condition.

The cards are more than likely damaged from the over a year in storage. They are leaving amazon looking like this. It's not what they are being shipped in.
I had 3 in one of those boxes. 2 best to all hell. One was fine.

I honestly don't think Amazon has anything to do with the card damage even though they don't throw anything in there for protection. Both I purchased came in great condition and opened the one with a small crease, the other I kept moc is perfect.
Edit: being that the price is $14.99 (+tax) I think it's worth it regardless the card being damaged when it's cheaper than your average elite price.

Mine was mint, as well, but I had also ordered another elite figure and they came in a larger box.

its still funny how people know of the carding issue but yet still buy one... if your such a baby about carding buy from another site for more money and ensure yourself great carding... bunch of babies.

Well, the way I look at it is like this. 2 months ago I sold one of these for $300. THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Now we can buy them on Amazon for $15. I understand the package is nearly always beat up so this isn't good for MOC collecting, but its an exclusive we seemed to almost not get, and its dirt cheap. If it was $25-30 I would see a reason to complain.

While you shouldnt have to, just an idea....why not try to order something bigger that would use a bigger box and have Amazon ship both together?

While you shouldnt have to, just an idea....why not try to order something bigger that would use a bigger box and have Amazon ship both together? That's what I did, so I'm hoping on Thursday that the package won't be destroyed. For people complaining about others being mad about the carding they are getting - off. Just because you open your figures and play with them, pose them, display them, etc., does not mean that everyone does or should. While I could understand if this was an issue of a soft corner, or light creasing, it does not seem to be the case for a lot of members. Getting a figure that is so crushed or bent that it is essentially already open is ridiculous, regardless of the price that was paid. How dare people expect that a box a half inch to an inch longer be used, especially when Amazon has such a variety of boxes to ship with. I have gotten figures that were protected like fine china, and others that were literally folded and flattened to fit in a tiny box with no packing material. This seems to have very much to do with who is packaging the figures to ship, as I believe some people did receive MOC figures. Also, just because carding and card both start with the same four letters doesn't mean they have anything to do with each other, or that people who collect MOC are doing so specifically for packaging/carding art. But then, hey, it's easy to just throw some of your usual garbage snark into a conversation, huh?
