Couldn't find another thread like this on the last few pages so I figured I'd make one. Simply talk about the last music related show you went to or upcoming ones you are planning on attending. Last night I attended a show featuring The Cellebration, The Used, and Taking Back Sunday. Show was excellent and brought me back to early high school days. TBS headlined, but personally I thought The Used stole the show. I had heard Bert went political, which he did go on short rants in between songs, but he still put on one hell of a show. My buddy and I stood back for most the show until TBS was setting up and we went down to the floor. I have to say Ill be hitting 26 next month and I learned last night I may be getting too old for pits ha. Still an amazing time which I expect to be surpassed Saturday when I see the Senses Fail "Let It Enfold You 10th Anniversary" show. Can't ing wait.

I went to see A Day to Remember last night as part of their Parks and Devastation Tour (along with Chiodos and Bring Me the Horizon) in Albany, NY last night and it was pretty damn great. I had such a good time that my ears are STILL ringing a little bit today.

It's sold out but I'm thinking of making the drive up and seeing if there are any scalpers because that is a fantastic lineup. I always miss the Warped Tour so I have yet to see any of them live.

Might as well see if there's some scalpers, since you never know. Last night was the first time I've seen ADTR since like 2008 and it was great. I'm not too familiar with Chiodos or Bring Me the Horizon but they were pretty good too. I mostly went to see ADTR.

I've been fans of all three since about 2008. What did ADTR play? Like mainly new, or old? Reason I ask is because The Used basically played all old.

I only remember these ones since I've listened to them a crapton of times on the CDs they're on: 1) If It Means A lot to You 2) All I Want 3) Downfall of Us All 4) Violence (Enough is Enough)

I went to see A Day to Remember, Bad Religion and the Offspring at the 89x Chill on the Hill here in Michigan. It was obviously for a radio station but it was a really solid lineup.

Last saw Merle Haggard in October. Absolutely great show. It's amazing to think about how old he is. His voice is still so great and he's working on two or three new albums.
Next up is on the 25th. I'll be seeing Jake Owen for my birthday with my girlfriend.

I saw Fozzy in May and they were pretty awesome. I'm really wanting to go see 5FDP, Slipknot, & Korn all in October but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to afford it :/

Last concert I attended was Guns N Roses at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. A long 13 hour flight yet the band made it so worth it, Vegas was a hell of a place too. Axl seemingly had a different fedora, shirt and leather jacket for each song. My only complaint was the lack of set list variation for the three shows I attended. When a band is doing a residency, a bit more than two extra songs a night is expected. Well that changed on the second to last show when they really mixed it up but I was already back in New Zealand by then.
Next concert is hopefully Jimmy Barnes in November. He's touring to commemorate his 30th anniversary as a solo singer so I'll definitely be checking that out. I already saw him open up for The Boss twice earlier this year but it just wasn't enough. After that is The Rolling Stones also in November and Katy Perry in December.

It was a light summer for me. I skipped my usual stop at Warped Tour because of the awful line-up.
I caught Against Me! back in July at a little club headliner. They were fantastic.
Before that, I saw Fall Out Boy & Paramore on the Monumentour in June. One of my favorite shows in recent memory, by far.

One of the coolest atmospheres I've been in at a show in a long time. So many different walks of life, all getting along wonderfully to see a great show. Against Me! sounded incredible and Laura looked so happy. It's so cool to see how well the scene has accepted her transition and how appreciative, genuine and entertained she is by it all. They closed the show with "We Laugh At Danger (And Break All the Rules)", during which they pretty much let anyone and everyone come on stage with them. Laura crowd-surfed, sung with anyone who wanted the mic on stage. They do it at every show, but it was so cool to see in person.
