U2 have announced that their next album "Songs of Innocence" will be on October 14 so they are back home for good. Speaking of. I'm listening to the new songs on YouTube right now.

The whole album is actually free to download on iTunes right now, until the 11th I believe.
FYI, this should probably be in the Entertainment section.

For a major band like U2 to keep this album a secret and then release it without warning is quite an achievement in 2014. I went onto the iTunes Store to download it but it was already in my library, woooooo!

Pretty good album. Nothing really wrong with any of the songs, but none of them really seem to stand out. I really liked Invisible, was hoping for more like that.

I'm kind of over ITunes honestly since it deleted all of my music I'd gotten free (legally, vinyl records had the digital codes) when upgrading phones

I really need to get on a PC at some point and delete this from my library. I'm not a fan of how they did this at all.

Look it up in the iTunes Store, it'll be there.

I went onto the iTunes Store to download it but it was already in my library, woooooo! Beyonce did the same thing around the end of 2013 releasing an album first exclusively to iTunes surprising everybody then a week later it was released on CD. It became a big hit

Not feeling Songs of Innocence. I've grown out of U2, I just haven't cared for them since the early 2000s.

Not a fan of the U2 virus. It's pretty narcissistic to assume that everyone with an iTunes account actually wants this thing. Usually I won't say no to free music but I make a special exception for U2

i'm pretty surprised that people didn't get more angry about the album just showing up on their phones, i find it offensively invasive.
