Lol Rock going for longer than he did would have killed him. Plus, they didn't have anything to do in the second one, it was a finisher fest.

I guess we missed Cena doing his fall-down bearhug, whiffing on a couple of elbows, and missing his top rope legdrop a couple of times. Drat.

I'm wagering had they gotten in a fight back stage, Rocky would have beat that ass. Just sayin.

That would have been horrible and a waste of time really.
Who needs to see them wrestle that long?
25 minutes is perfectly fine by me.

Lol at the Rock jabs. Nothing about how courageous it was finishing the match with such a severe injury.

Lol at the Rock jabs. Nothing about how courageous it was finishing the match with such a severe injury. Consider who suffered the injury and it's easy to see why this board wouldn't give him credit. Now, if it were CM Punk who suffered the injury, there'd be 20 pages to this thread talking about how tough Punk was for finishing the match and how he's the greatest thing ever.

Lol at the Rock jabs. Nothing about how courageous it was finishing the match with such a severe injury. courageous lol. It's not like it was a 5* match that had a lot to it, it was a simple finisherfest/spotfest. Daniel Bryan finished a match with an eye injury. No one talks about that. Injuries happen, you tough them out, it's part of the business. Lol at the Rock jabs. Nothing about how courageous it was finishing the match with such a severe injury. The Rock doesn't get the respect because he didn't put anything into his run, he was gassed 3/4 of the match and Cena/Punk/Miz/Truth carried him. Yeah, he was that bad. He wasn't even trying, he can blame his schedule or whatever he wants but he didn't put any effort in.

That was the definition of not even trying. He can blame his schedule or his poor little spot or whatever he wants but HE didn't put any effort in for nearly a full year. Or can we over look him not putting anything into that run?

I agree he wasn't giving his full effort but he still managed to entertain me more than any other person on the roster. And you can't just ignore SS13 either, that was a 5 star match. And Punk still worked every week and could have a good match so...

He's probably exaggerating. Probably - this IS pro wrestling, after all. If anything, maybe their entire segment (entrances/match/post-match) would be the 50 minutes. With these shows being as meticulously timed as they are, there's no way they only did half the time they were scheduled.

So you're gonna criticize one person for 'not putting in any effort' and 'not even trying', but support another person you agree wasn't putting in any effort and wasn't even trying? If you can still support Punk, maybe people can still support Roc, because he possibly still entertained them too?

Wrestlers lying about timing is nothing new. Bret vs Bulldog went 25 minutes, but Bret will swear that it went 45+.

I said he couldn't work, which is true.
