Oh please, one was okay but the other 2 were terrible. Well I base my opinions on my own thoughts not someone else's. And we might as well shut down the forum after this one.

I could honestly probably name more really good Cena main event matches than Rock matches. Yeah, as already stated, that's down to Cena's longevity though. That's the funny thing when people pretend he can't wrestle -- because of how long he's lasted, he's had more top quality matches than pretty much anyone else in WWE history. The only guys that would probably come above him would be Triple H, Shawn Michaels and maybe Bret Hart would be in that mix. Cena's TV matches this year with Rollins and Cesaro reminded me quite a bit of those times Bret would face someone lower down the card and have a phenomenal match where he let them look great against him.

It's nice to be able to have the top guy in competitive matches against guys under him. For example, Bret vs. Tom Prichard was friggin' rad. Same with Bret vs. Kid.

It is sad there are people who claim that John Cena can't work his way out of a paper bag. Cena can hang with the best performers of all time. Go and watch his match with Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2003, the 55 minute match versus Shawn Michaels, vs. Batista at WrestleMania XXVI, and even the match he had with CM Punk on RAW last year. Cena can work a good match. Just that he needs the right opponent to compliment his style and demonstrate his straights. I know people hate John Cena to death but there is something is his work ethic that is unmatched. The WWE took a gamble with Cena in 2005 and it paid off big time. Whether people like it or not, John Cena has surrendered his life to the industry. I mean, ****, his promo on RAW last Monday was awesome and proves why John Cena wakes up everyday and he is himself.
Ten years from now, we would look back and view John Cena as one of the best entertainers professional wrestling has seen.

A lot of people will, but a lot are still going to hold on to the idea that he sucked and couldn't work and always had to be carried when that couldn't be further from the truth, just like people do with Hulk.

It's pretty clear that you're never going to see this from another side and just look at it from the "OMG CENA SUX ROCKY AND THE ATTITUDE ERA ARE WAY COOLER! SUX IT!" perspective. Cena and Rock had little chemistry during their matches and Cena and Punk outclassed the Rock on the microphone. To say that John Cena is sloppy is rather absurd. The guy was the better performer in his Money in the Bank classic with CM Punk and, while he does have his flawed moments (like no selling the leg work at WrestleMania 23) the guy delivers on the big stage. Name me a main guy that didn't have flaws? Austin and Hogan did and your precious Rock sure as hell did. I could honestly probably name more really good Cena main event matches than Rock matches. Not to be that guy, but Cena's obviously going to have more since he's been the top guy for far longer than Rock was. Despite Cena's longevity (mostly due to Vince's stubbornness), his list of really good matches is very, very short. He even admitted to getting lost in the ring and looking to older opponents like HBK to get him through. I'd say his list of quality matches is less than ten. He had a couple of very good ones with HBK, one with Batista, and a couple with Punk. Most of his usual opponents over the years ( HHH, Orton, Edge, JBL ) couldn't pull anything decent from Cena but his usual slipshod moveset and awkward promos.

His post basically kills every argument in forum history. Not really, everyone should form their own opinion, which is what fuels discussions. Plus there are still facts and other ways to discuss.

I'd take the two Shawn Michaels matches off, but I haven't watched them since the time they happened, and I was still kind of a Cena hater then. I did really like the match they had on Raw during the time when Michaels was JBL's slave, though, so I'm sure I'd enjoy their 2007 matches if I went back and watched them now.

Lol at the Rock jabs. Nothing about how courageous it was finishing the match with such a severe injury. Undertaker broke his face and finished the match. Then continued to wrestle other matches. But back to Rock...people will hate on him because he's the biggest star to ever come out of wrestling. He's a bigger star than Cena will ever be and he's 2-0 vs internet darling CM Punk.
