I just read this article posted on here and thought it was funny... Hogan says Austin is afraid he'd get boo'd out of the building if they ever faced each other (Looks like Hogan's having delusions of grandeur in his old age) and then turns around and says he'd like to tag with Austin. Looks like someone needs to take his meds!

Take anything Hogan says with a huge pinch of salt. Credibility isn't his thing.

If they'd wrestled in 2002 in Hogan's first big match back in the WWF, Austin (who everyone saw every week) would have been booed. Nowadays, not so much.

Hogan is a clown nowadays; always looking for a way to keep his name out there.

I really don't think Austin would have been boo'd. Maybe by a few, but not as much as Hogan lovers would think. Austin always received a huge pop, and even to this day, when they even mention his name on tv, he gets a huge reaction. When was the last time you heard an in ring interview or promo that you didn't hear "What" at least a dozen times. Hell, even on ROH and TNA... Many times on the latter when Hogan was the one in the ring doing the talking?!

It's fine for you to think that, but he definitely would have been. Hulk Hogan, WWF icon, having his first WrestleMania match in nine years? In a city that loved him? Anybody who went up against the Hulkster that night was going to be hearing the big boos, especially anyone that was on the active roster who had been wrestling in the WWF every week for years. That's not a question of ability or quality, it would have been true of anyone from Austin to Rock to Triple H to Angle to Undertaker etc etc.

Hogan gets a weak crowd reaction, just look at the several times he's been on tv and you'll see.. but the mention of Austin's name will get double the cheers an actual hogan appearance gets

But he bodyslammed the 9 foot tall, 700 pound Andre The Giant in front of a million people at the Silverdome dude single handedly ending all wars... Brother!
... Hogan is delirious.

As I've been telling people for 30+ years... Hulk Hogan tells more stories than Mother Goose.

But Rock had himself plenty of cheers in that match. Granted, he got more boos than cheers. Rock was also dealing with the Cena type reaction from the crowd during that time. Austin..not so much. If they wrestled at WM 31, non realistically, but anyway. Austin would receive a good 3/4 of the cheers. Hogan is a dumbass if he thinks Austin will get booed out of any arena.

Well, Austin drew more than Hogan ever did. Austin>Hogan This is 100% false. But that's cool. As I've been telling people for 30+ years... Hulk Hogan tells more stories than Mother Goose. 30+ years? Sounds like someone else is stretching the truth...
