I've heard a lot of covers of Bohemian Rhapsody and they were always okay and nothing great but this cover gave me the same goosebumps I got when watching videos of Queen performing it live. And the use of the scene from Wayne's World was perfect.

Never been a fan of the band at all, but they did do that song and Carry On Wayward Son justice.

Man that was good. What an experience that would have been live. Thank you for sharing this.

Great covers are generally done by artists who can make the song their own. Didn't get that much here. They performed it well but it was just classic Bohemian Rhapsody and nothing more.

That's not a cover. This is a cover. I wish they'd release a full version.

Not even the best Bohemian Rhapsody cover of all time...

It just sounded like regular Bohemian Rhapsody. The key to a good cover is to make the song your own rather than a carbon copy of the original.
Like Bruce Springsteen covering Royals by Lorde for example.

This band is the reason I stopped watching mtv. I'm just not a big fan of their "shove our image down your throat" Attitude . And when they gave them the MTV VMA for Best video of the friggin year , I gave up.
Plz don't insult me for my opinion. If you think I'm wrong let's have a reasonable discussion why without any personal jabs thrown. Thanks in advance.

No insults, as you requested, and I'm not interested in debating because I'm not looking to change your mind, just saying. I love Panic. I strongly dislike Queen. This song is bad whether I love the band doing it or not.

This song is bad whether I love the band doing it or not. Well the severe drop in quality of programming and nothing but dating shows didn't help their case. I have sorta leaned back towards some stuff like Ridiculousness and I turned in to the short beavis and butthead revival. But never watched a VMA after that and probably never will. I don't like queen either. Never thought I would meet someone else who felt that way lmao. Everyone seems to LOVE them.

Anyone who gives a squirt of about the VMAs needs to re-examine their life.

Well I see what you're saying, I don't think it was the band themselves that did that. Their label hyped them up huge with that first album, but it became obvious with their later releases that it really wasn't what they wanted to do. When they got more freedom, they changed their sound a lot. Generally speaking, the two guys that are left in the band seem like humble dudes since their falling out with the rest of the bandmates. But yeah, I think the vibe you got that they were shoving their image down your throat was really just them doing what the label told them to do, and what the label paid them to do... Can't really hate a guy for doing it when people are throwing money at you.
