Zigzag pretty much summed it up. Rare and harder to find are two totally different things. they can still be rare

I personally wouldn't open an older set of figures in great shape like that! The packaging looks so awesome on those things though.. Personal preference, it's a hard decision but it comes down to what you feel happy with

Zigzag pretty much summed it up. Rare and harder to find are two totally different things. they can still be rare But they are not. Most of them got bought up. Thousands upon thousands. You won't find many or any at a store now days and most aren't selling theirs off. That would make it hard to come by, or hard to find. Not rare.

And yeah a one out of five figure that's obviously rare. Duh. That's not rocket science dude. One of five is rare. One of tens of thousands is not. But yeah, this is obviously like talking to a brick wall.

Not to mention if Im not mistaken there's a whole hella lot more then 5 of them out there through discarded/stolen merchandise from China...which is unfortunate.

IMy question is this: I am dying to open this. But the collector inside me screams whenever I pick it up. I think you've answered yourself right there... if you're dying to open it, then definitely open it. I'm a MOC collector and don't have the urge to open them... I love them how they are (...in their "plastic prisons"... ).

By that logic, If there were hundreds of thousands made, there are billions of people in the world; less than half of a half of a half of a percent being able to get them.
