Disappointed with the Metallica pops - well Hetfield, to be specific. I had hoped for a tattooed, modern-day version, not Justice James.

That Charlie Brown pop, along with a few other peanuts, are .98 cents at my Gamestop. Sadly, Peanuts are another victim of time.

Going to need to grab that SDCC T-Dog from Ebay eventually, RIP wallet. Just wait it out dude. Funko already announced nearly every convention exclusive Pop will be a shared and will announce locations the week of the convention. I'm almost positive that T-Dog will end up at Hot Topic or somewhere for $15-20 shipped. Don't give some scalper $50-60 for it.

I want Tdog but I'm grossed out by how much vaulted regular releases go for now. I missed out on Maggie. Why is Maggie now a $40 figure?! Merle Dixon should not cost me $50.
My least favorite part of Pop collecting is the for profit part of it all. I wanted to get a few extra Jason Vorhees Pops, because I'm meeting 3 of the Jason's next weekend. No way am I spending $25 a piece on them though

No way am I spending $25 a piece on them though Its because Funko takes them out of print/commission ("vaulting"), then makes it a point to announce the Pop(s) have been vaulted, which usually causes a panic amongst collectors who scramble to buy them up from the secondary markets. Happened pretty recently with The Rock's Pop. 3 of them had been rotting on the shelves of a local Pop Shop at a nearby mall, and you could snatch them up off Ebay for $8-10 shipped. Funko vaults him and within a month, they all disappear in stores and online, and the prices balloon up to $40-50 on Ebay and will pretty much never come back down unless Funko unvaults a specific Pop which they never do. The only series they've ever reprinted to my knowledge were most of the Star Wars Pops that were selling for obscene prices online at the time. The original vaulted SW Pops are still pretty valuable due to their original boxes being blue and using a different font though. Now Jason isn't vaulted and can still be gotten for cheap ($8-$10 shipped) so I wouldn't give up just yet if you really want to get a few signed. Even the blue jumpsuit Hot Topic exclusive Jason is still pretty cheap on Ebay if you look.

I feel your pain as I wanted a number of Ghostface Pops. I was able to get them for about $13 each shipped, but those days are long gone now.

Most of the Horror Pops are still in production and can be purchased for retail prices online. I think only Sam from Trick R Treat has been vaulted and is really pricey now.
The Chase variants are the stinkers...blood splattered Leatherface with the original sticker is my ultimate grail but I can't justify paying the $110-120 it goes for online.
The most I ever paid for a single Pop was $60 for Red Son Superman (+$10 more to have it mailed in a hardstack protector) and that's only because I missed its original release by 3 years and it's my absolute favorite Pop and one of my favorite comics ever.

Love the chase Leatherface. I went away last year, stopped in on an FYE and found one. Grabbed it, as well as a Stantz ghostbuster, while passing up multiple complete sets of the first AHS pops. To my surprise, I saw the prices on Leatherface and was thrilled. Wish I bought all of the AHS ones!
