TNA expects big things with the new year (new diary) Monday, Week 1, January 2006
Nashville, Tenn. -- End 2005 and start 2006 by watching the most exciting, unpredictable, adrenaline rush on Spike TV — TNA iMPACT! Since the deal struck back in October 2005 TNA continues to rise with its new television product.
Panda Energy International, Inc. in relation with Dixie Carter and the rest of the NWATNA has also announced that Dusty Rhodes will be back in the helm as head booker for the company after a few month hiatus. Dusty has been behind the scenes but took a step back with the new television deal. Dusty has rejoined the team since leaving in May 2005. TNA seeks his riveting booking talent to take the company to number one.
TNA has been off to quite a hot start since the debut of TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV and the twelve month pay-per-view schedule. Along the way in recent months TNA have signed promising superstars in Christage Cage and Team 3D to lead the charge in this new turn of a battle with the industries leading competitor. Also, TNA offers a different side to wrestling with its X-Division.
What will TNA have to offer in the year 2006? Time will tell.

Change Coming to TNA's roster Sunday, Week 1, January 2006 Reported by: ProWrestlingScoops
With week one of the new year coming to a close TNA reports success. Though with that success TNA is also reporting a roster overturn including both firings and hirings.
The Spike TV contract deal has had TNA on the fringe of signing talent from pay-per-appearance contracts to exclusive deals. Only a few TNA stars have committed to these deals including the likes of Jeff Jarrett, Sting, AJ Styles and James Storm. TNA seeks to sign majority of its roster to these written deals.
Already noted in big news TNA is losing a star. Konnan has refused to go into contract negotiations. In fact, we have just learned that Konnan signed a full commitment contract with CMLL and is leaving TNA by the end of this week.
There is a sense of anxiousness in the TNA locker-room with the talent waiting on these deals and seeing how WWE will react.
One thing is for certain TNA has already had their attorneys talking to talent agents and are in the works of smoothing out several deals throughout the next few weeks.
TNA has also sought out to new backstage employees including road agents Harley Race and Steve Keirn.
The new talent initiative has also gone into effect with two notable signings this week. TNA has signed short term contracts with Masato Tanaka and Kevin Fertig. It is said that Fertig is to wrestle under his indy wrestler name, Seven.
