You see, "grasping at straws" is a turn of phrase meaning that you are making a futile attempt at something. In the video from Bob's Burgers, Bob is trying to grab a packet of straws to throw at a shark that is attacking him. He points out the coincidence of the fact that he is actually (literally) "grasping at straws" which, in turn, is (figuratively) "grasping at straws" because it won't help him. Colter posted the video to point out that he thought that Saint was also "grasping at straws" (figuratively) with his post. The video itself just added a little humor to the post. Hence, why I posted the video... ... when you felt the need to point out that he was not, in fact, literally grasping at straws when the only reason the word "literal" was brought up was because a cartoon character was, in fact, being literal in the video.

I'd really like to see a Hardys/Uso's feud.

I cant see the WWE being very interested in Matt and Jeff is too valuable to be a tag team star in 2014.......i think its just Jeff or no Hardyz in the WWE again period.

anyone that's a big fan of the hardy's should just want them to retire, jeff can hardly hit a swanton any more without being in serious pain and matt has been over the edge for a few years now.

I would love to see them come back for a final run, especially Jeff and then just call it.

Besides, I don't want to hear this "grasping at straws" nonsense. They haven't said one single word about Jeff until mid 2013 they put him back on WWE.com. Starting about two months ago, they talk about him all the time and now even posted a new picture of him. They did the same thing with Sting months before he resigned, I'm just saying, it COULD happen.

Who gives a rats ass that Hardy wouldn't be full time? If he returns to WWE one more time I'll be happy. If Jeff does become full time for 2 or so years, that would be AWESOME. It would be even more awesome if WWE let Jeff become Willlow. I just want Mattel figures of Jeff Hardy. All of them.

At least that's the sentiment I get from hearing about a lot of part-timers.

Chris Jericho, RVD, Brock, and arguably The Rock were on their game while they were part timers. Excluding Brock's current WWE run as champion, none of the part timers I mentioned were awful. All were on the top of their game when they returned, especially RVD.

I'm just saying that that is a reaction that I've seen a ton of people have towards them.

Saw this on Facebook, it'd be great if they come back, they can have nice feuds with RVD, Cesaro, Miz, Ziggler, the Authority...

Batista, and The Outlaws are two that came to mind. Batista came to put over Bryan, and The Outlaws came to put over The Uso's. I don't think their in ring performances mirrored what they should've been. Jeff's recent TNA work as himself, and Willow are very impressive. I wouldn't think less of him if he returned to WWE. He's in great shape. The momentum would stay the same.

The Tag Titles were on fire from the Shield's reign to the Brotherhood, only to have the Outlaws kill that. Yea, they dropped the straps to the Usos, but Usos/Brotherhood would've been badass. Batista started slow, but killed it at WrestleMania and was good during the Shield feud. He had some solid matches with Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown too.

Hence, why I posted the video... You see, Colter is my homie and I was just giving him sh-t. You see, I got the joke. You see, I've seen the episode of Bob's Burgers that the clip in question is from, you don't need to talk to people like they're some lower life form and that you're some all knowing intelligent being. Not the first time you've done this to me, probably not the last. I don't really care. You see, I can be a complete elitist dickhead and treat others like their intelligence level is below mine on the internet because I have poorly developed social skills and a superiority complex, too! ... when you felt the need to point out that he was not, in fact, literally grasping at straws when the only reason the word "literal" was brought up was because a cartoon character was, in fact, being literal in the video. ... and you could have left what I said slide, as it was pretty clear to me (and probably everyone else) that Colt knew I was just ing with him, but in your quest to show that you're some superior being, you feel the need to educate people on things that anyone with half a ing brain can grasp without you holding their hand. I don't know what the unwashed masses on this board would do without you coming in to explain stuff like this to them.

If they come back as a team, for one final run to put someone over, fine. But I don't ever want to hear a solo Jeff Hardy promo/title run ever again.

Whether it'd be the Hardy's, or just jeff, I want them back in wwe. I know at one point jeff said he's returning in a recent interview, but it can be a year, or a decade. With the picture, it probably doesn't mean too much
