I would have left whatever I had at the checkout and walked out.

That's ridiculous! You're the customer; I'd be upset if this happened to me for any product that I would be trying to purchase.

This is the complaint I filed tonight on the Walmart website.... keep in mind, this is the third complaint I've filed on this topic.....
I also have the name of the manager (it's on my receipt) - I'm planning to track down an e-mail for her as well. I doubt she cares, though....
I'm not through with this yet....
For those saying I should have pushed them to get the price - YES, I should have - but that is not the point - they made no offer to help at all - just took the figure away and threw it in a box! I decided that making a stand on this and proving my point about the problems in this store is more important than that AJ Lee figure that I wasn't sure I wanted that badly anyway....
Unfortunately must report another bad (and this will be my last) experience regarding the WWE action figures stocked at store #2555, which this store continues to stock poorly and now is adding customer service issues to the mix. .
I was somewhat pleased to find a few new figures were stocked on Saturday night 10/18 at about 5:30 PM. I decided to purchase one.
I took the figure to the garden center register (where I parked). The employee scanned the action figure - said it was "Not In System".
They then looked over to another employee (sitting by the door) - that employee said "we can't sell it to him." The original cashier then threw the figure to the other employee and that employee put the figure in a box. No offer to find a correct price or SKU number was even offered to me - she rang up my other two purchases and completed the transaction.
I was not allowed to buy the WWE action figure that was on the shelf.
I've filed several complaints about store #2555 and it's failure to stock these figures - my complaints have gone ignored, as the pegs are still mostly empty. Now I cannot even buy one of the three figures that were actually stocked tonight. And no efforts were made to sell me the product.
Thanks for nothing. I'll take my family to Target from now on, and I'm sorry to keep bothering Walmart about this. I made the mistake of thinking that anyone there cared.
I'm trying to find the e-mail for a District Manager or something but it's not very easy to find - I thought this method of communicating my frustration would addressed, but the problems seem to get worse.
Yes, it's a very silly thing to complain about - but I'm afraid it's indicative of bigger problems in this store. Let the shelves stay empty for another seven months, I'll just stop bothering to stop in and look.

I would have asked to see a manager about the AJ, I'm sure they would have helped you, and if not I wouldn't have bought anything else. Then at least you'd have a name to put in the email. I can't imagine corporate would want them chasing money out the door.

Nice to see the exclusive t shirt series is out. Annoying they wouldn't sell you the AJ figure, why put it out in the store if it's not on the system!.
I am just hoping the t shirt series becomes available on the website for us UKers to buy.

This is why i don't buy figures from wal-mart anymore. Back when tru had the 2 for $20.00 elite sale (or something i like that)I went to wal-mart and tried to price compare but the manager said i was making the entire thing up even after i showed him i was serious. He went on to say if i wanted them i had to pay full price.I just walked out.

Well of course, today I went back and bought the AJ figure - I just took a Dolph Ziggler figure as well - I instructed the cashier that I didn't want the Dolph Ziggler figure - but that the AJ was not showing up on the price scanners throughout the store. OF COURSE, the figure still didn't ring up (meaning the cashiers who took it away from me did NOTHING to resolve the issue, and didn't even remove the "unsellable" product from the shelves). She did as I asked & charged me for the Ziggler but gave me the AJ, no problem..... I'm still mad, though.... but the figure is pretty nice.... No response from Walmart yet regarding my newest complaint, though....

My Walmart is back to its crappy self.
About 20 Punk signature series. A few new basics. A couple white card Cena. E26 Henry and E29 Punk. And a couple Los Matadores.

I hear a lot of moaning but most of the time the product just isn't there. I mean walmart has thousands of unique products and you want them to focus on just the wrestling guys....feel selfish just my opinion. ..

Just ask for a manager. Complain a little and you would have gotten the figure. It always works because I see it happen all the god damn time.
The cashier could've just keyed it in and rang it up as $7.77 or 9.97 and you could've went along with your day.
